Hello Arvin!

Hello Arvin!
Aditama Family Children

“Ngapain anyway there is a breakfast event with everything?”

“Let's look like a real family kayak.”

Usually there are a lot of things that Nara doesn't match or doesn't agree with Arvin. This time they both had one voice. Want to get out of this house quickly and stop pretending that all these people are family.

Even so, they still set foot into the dining room. There are already Candra, Lena, Angga, Audrey, Widia, Arvin's cousin who Nara met last night and 2 other people who Nara did not know. They join the dining table which is already available a variety of expensive and delicious food.

“New bride early in the morning really stormy. Seneng yesa.” Audrey's temptation melts the atmosphere. Surely they all heard the commotion made by Arvin and Nara was in the room because of Arvin's mischievous behavior.

“Ya dong's. From lo, singles!” Answer Arvin accordingly.

Audrey immediately shook the head of Arvin sitting next to her. “Gue ga single yes. It's good.” The reply.

“You're okay, Ra?” Asked Lena who had noticed Nara's movements earlier. “Eat a lot. His name has not taken.” Further.

“Nara ga eat rice. Make him nauseous.” Answer Arvin.

“Hapal really lo, Vin. Idaman husband yes.” Rivanno. Arvin immediately stared intently at her, who was met with an annoying whimper.

“You don't seem to know Arvin's cousins yet. They came late yesterday. This is Rivanno, Rania, and Widia's husband, Tio.” Said Lena pointing at the people one by one. Nara simply nodded and smiled back at the gazes of the three people.

“Today I met Nara, before she fainted.” Rivanno cheerful. “Inget, right?” Smile next. Nara just nodded. While Arvin put a bad face on his cousin.

“You guys dated how long anyway?” Rivanno looked at Nara.

“Important make lo?” Attack Arvin not happy.

“Yes I'm curious. How to get to ngelakuin.” Rivanno smiled without finishing her sentence. Everyone knows what the next thing is.

Nara could see from the corner of her eye that Arvin was so upset that he held the spoon in his hand firmly. Maybe if it is not in the middle of the family, the spoon is already floating gouging Rivanno's eyes.

“Ivan, udah.” Lena said firmly. “Again meals. Don't talk too much.”

After that there was no more talk at the dinner table. Only a light clinking sound as the cutlery clashed against each other. They were busy enjoying the food. Might as well. Or actually berating each other in the heart and want to immediately end this pretense breakfast together.

“You guys when you get home?” Ask Candra after she finishes eating. They enjoy dessert. Sweet fruit pie to end an awkward breakfast.

“Abis this we go home.” Answer Arvin.

“Kok a huge chirp? Today is a holiday, Vin.”

“I have band rehearsal later noon.” Arvin is lying. Actually, he rarely practices, just gathering with his friends. That's not often, only if Nara is already angry and upset to see his face in the penthouse, then expel Arvin.

“Kok still band rehearsal anyway? You are married, Vin. Still boyish that, still nge-band all.” Lena Protest.

“Yes why is marriage still a band? Can not make off the responsibility of being a husband too.”

“If you have a holiday take your wife for a walk, find entertainment. Not busy yourself like that.”

“Iyaa.” Arvin only answered briefly and scowled upset at being lectured by Lena.

Nara actually doesn't mind Arvin being busy playing a band with his friends. He doesn't really like it when Arvin stays home. Arvin was noisy and always made him emotional. Every holiday he just plays games on his computer while screaming with harsh words. Or rock her guitar, making Nara unable to take a nap. Better he just disappear every day.

...****************...

This room is very familiar to Nara. At the time of his visit here, he was always welcome here. Hours of waiting for his boss to check the documents and explain some issues about the company that must be resolved immediately.

The same room. The same guy. But now they are sitting together with different relationships. Father-in-law and son-in-law. Nara's tongue is also not used to calling the person in front of her father. Nara still considers him a superior.

During his time as a superior, Candra was known as a kind, warm, and intelligent person. Nara has always admired her skills in business. Actually Arvin on some sides very similar to his father. But his business decisions are more liberal and fresh than Candra's.

“Where is Arvin, good with you?” Ask Candra to start their conversation.

The same question Audrey asked him. I don't know what Arvin was known by his family until such a question arises repeatedly. Maybe Arvin is actually a bad boy, a delinquent, and a bitch. His family had to ask him how he behaved to others.

“Good to.” Nara replied reluctantly. Of course Nara never thought of it that way.

“Ga need to lie. Arvin emang... difficult to handle.” Candra said with a laugh. “Most difficult and difficult to say. You also know yourself right to call Arvin first so he can change the position of father.”

Nara nodded and smiled awkwardly. The damn thing was indeed a severe ordeal for Nara while working. Now his status had instead risen to a living ordeal.

“Daddy would like to apologize to you. In a way, it's all dad's fault. Don't educate Arvin well, until it can be a bad man like that same you.”

“But everything happened. Now what matters is that you live a good life, so that your children can be good people too. Don't admit to mistakes like his parents.”

Nara had never thought before what the child would be like at birth. He had no hope for her. Keeping him alive for Nara is a big and difficult decision. Raised it? Nara had no shadow at all. That's Arvin's business. She'll raise him after this.

“Actually I also want to ask for help with you, make sure Arvin. If only one day my father didn't exist. Arvin will later become the company leader and head of the family, it will be hard if he has to do it himself without an escort. Fortunately, he has you now. Dad ain't worried again.”

Wait for. Wait for.

Nara never intended to accompany Arvin during that time. He will only marry Arvin until their son is born. Nara doesn't want any burden other than that. Especially accompanying Arvin to be the head of the family with people who look hostile to each other like this. Arvin would not.

“Why did Pak Angga become the successor?” Nara asked confusedly. Yep. It should be him, not Arvin. Don't be Arvin, he's just gonna make trouble.

Candra was surprised to hear Nara's question, “Loh? Emang Arvin didn't tell you that Angga is the same Audrey is not the father huh?” Said probing. Nara just shook her head confused “They adopted fit still small. You see Lena can't have children.” Continue with a bitter smile.

Nara was very surprised by the information she had just heard. So far no one in the office has ever discussed the status of Candra's two oldest children. Maybe because no one knows? But why are the stories about Arvin so widely scattered with various versions?

Many questions arise in Nara's mind now. Why didn't Arvin stay here as a teenager? Why was he dumped and living at his grandmother's house? What about her real mother? Why does Arvin hate his father so much?

Damnit damnit!

Now Nara becomes curious about the life of that shitty man. One more thing that should be a note to Nara, this family is very strange and complicated.

Nara could have asked Candra directly. But seeing it in its present state, it feels less wise to pry past information.

Arvin wouldn't tell her anything either. She would only tease him like this this morning when Nara began to be curious about his life story. This isn't important anyway. In a matter of months, Nara will leave this family.

The conversation continued with pleasant small talk. Candra was kind and close to Nara. But this time it felt different. Nara feels Candra is now a father figure, which Nara misses. Because now Nara's father doesn't admit it, doesn't even want to talk to her anymore.
