The Failed Effort

During this week Keysa continued to be seen and circulated in Arvin's view. He met her at meetings, in elevators, in corridors, and she always came to his office to hand over documents or just deliver a message from Rivanno.

Rivanno could have said it on the phone. But obviously, sending Keysa to him was his goal to get them close back.

No one knows about the past relationship between Arvin and Keysa other than Rivanno and Angga. They continue to work as usual without any problems or strange gossip.

The thing that bothers Arvin is actually Nara, she can't tell him anything yet. Moments ago before Lena left for Malaysia, Nara did a check-up back to the doctor escorted by Lena.

Arvin kept walking away from her.

He was no longer able to hold back his tears because of Arvin's cold attitude towards him. He misses Arvin, wants him more than anything. They've been together a long time, always together. But why did they have to end up like this just because Arvin made a mistake last night with that pathetic woman?

Keysa was always willing to sacrifice for Arvin. And vice versa. He frequented Arvin in Australia almost every year, accompanying him in difficult circumstances, there beside him when his father and stepmother always pressured and demanded him. Keysa should be right now next to Arvin. Arvin should have done that to Keysa, too. He didn't mind having to get impregnated by Arvin. Keysa silently lowered his head, looked at his shoes and played his finger with a huff. His feelings are mixed now. Sad, scared, disappointed, and heartbroken. No matter how angry Arvin is, he never acts this cold on her.

Keysa stepped up to Arvin, looked up and extended his hands quickly to Arvin's neck and landed his kiss on the man. Keysa can feel the warmth and sweetness of Arvin's kiss.

They used to do it often. Keysa kept remembering how Arvin's tongue moved touching his mouth, frowning the feeling over and over and laughing afterwards. Keysa was Arvin's first kiss, and vice versa. It should be the last one forever.

Arvin was shocked by the sudden kiss, and pushed Keysa down on the floor. It made the girl grimace in pain and her face was about to cry. But Arvin doesn't care. Even the hatred that was mounting in his head.

“LO CAN STOP KAYAK GINI ANYWAY? I TOLD YOU WE WERE TUESDAY! DON'T MAKE ME ANYMORE. I WON'T BE BALANCING YOU AGAIN, BA* *SAT!” Shouted Arvin then left the room in a turbulent rage.

Keysa was shocked by the harsh words Arvin had spoken to him. Also his very rejection. Tears came down and she was sobbing while sitting on the cold floor. He thinks with his touch Arvin will come back. He'll be tempted just as he was when Arvin touched Nara. But all he saw was an angry Arvin.

Any attempt has failed Keysa.
