Hello Arvin!

Hello Arvin!
Invitation for Dinner

The red jewelry box opens haphazardly on the table. It says Cartier etched there. A necklace model juste un clou rose gold with a circle pendant sprinkled with diamond ornaments sluggish in the box. The same jewelry brand, which Arvin gave to Nara as a wedding ring.

Arvin stared at the necklace confused, then turned to Nara sitting on the sofa with a face that scowled in annoyance, hugging her own knees, rolling like a hedgehog. He looked at Arvin who had just returned home with an unhappy expression.

“Who is this from?” Ask Arvin who then sits next to Nara.

“Mother lo.” Nara replied sebal.

“Hah?”

“Bu Lena's. He sent me a wedding present and an invitation to a family dinner. Do you know of that show?”

Arvin nods, “Tadi noon the phone moustache I sent come later Saturday for dinner.”

“Keep the answer to what?”

“Ya come.”

“Gue don't want to come!” Shouted Nara “ Anyway I don't want to come to the show!” Nara was getting annoyed.

“Kan it's a special event for lo.”

“Make me what? You mean, I have to come and know myself to your family?”

“Hmm.”

“Ga. Oh wow! How tumben anyway you agree with the will of your parents? Usually it is difficult to say. You're an ungodly boy, Vin?”

Arvin looked at Nara, his expression annoyed. “Means lo?”

“Yes you reject the cake, kayak usually you refuse request Mr. Candra.”

“Can't do this one. We have to come.”

“Why? If so, you come alone.”

“And I told you this is a show for you. My time is coming.”

“Gue does not need to be recognized by your extended family. We're going to divorce after this child is born. I don't need to publish like this. Cave does not want!”

“Ck.. Don't make me emotional! If I say dateng yes dateng. Why do you have to refuse?”

“Lo itself why agree? I really want to see me being blasphemed by the lo family?”

“Means?”

“According to you they will accept me kindly, so? After knowing that I was pregnant out of wedlock? Make your family ashamed. I must have said, insulted, blasphemed kayak that I rasain fitting lo gig.”

“Who said lo?”

“Ya according to lo? Lo hardline fans, who think that you are Santo even though br*hsek boy!”

“They said what?” Arvin asked, his brows linked in confusion.

“They say I'm a teaser, a cheap, gatel chick, because I'm pregnant with your child. They don't know what br*sek is! What makes all these ugly things happen is you! Keep on ngarep I want to meet people again after they why do I like it? According to you I will want to meet your family who will obviously think the same as them and definitely blaspheme me?” Nara spoke very quickly with emotion. He almost cried so badly remembering all the words that had been thrown for him first.

Arvin speechless. Seeing an emotional and fiery Nara tells of her reluctance to attend her family's ceremony, and about an incident at a music show that Arvin had never known before. Nara adjusted her breathing with great difficulty, her chest rose and fell rapidly, and her eyes stared fiercely at him. Arvin knows Nara is very hurt, but Arvin just found out now.

“Gue ain't gonna be insulted by my family show.” Arvin convinced Nara.

“Keep you think I believe the same? You can't protect me from anything. What's wrong is always me, they won't want to know what's going on. It's always me who's wronged, Vin.” His anger was at the top of his head.

“Gue promise.”

Arvin clasped Nara's hand, but was quickly pushed aside. That girl doesn't need Arvin's appointment. Trusting Arvin. She could not protect Nara from the feelings of fear, hurt, humiliation, and shame she felt upon receiving all the bad words towards her.

Nara was busy wiping away her tears that were pouring out uncontrollably. Guilt seemed to eat Arvin's heart. Every day he felt so guilty about Nara. Whenever Nara looks sick and vomits uncontrollably, Arvin always blames himself. He who made Nara had to go through the most uncomfortable moments of her life like that. Now he also felt his anger suddenly ignited, hearing that there were people who insulted and called Nara with brazen nicknames.

F*ck!

If only Arvin had known the real events back then. He would not let the person who insulted Nara get away with it.

...****************...

Arvin parked the car in the parking lot of his house. There was hardly any parking space because there were so many cars there. Until the front lawn now switches functions into an impromptu parking lot.

Next to Arvin, Nara has been quietly pecking. His eyes looked agitated. He didn't talk much today either. It was clear he did not want to attend the dinner held by his mother. Even since days ago Nara continues to whine at Arvin to cancel their presence.

But Arvin can't. He was always difficult to manage and did not obey the words of his parents. But this time Arvin couldn't resist. Since saying he will marry Nara in front of his family. His father always warned Arvin to take responsibility for Nara and her role as husband.

He can't just walk away from family events and act as he pleases without working. Nara and her baby-to-be need a living. His father repeatedly told Arvin to take over his position in the family and company now. Otherwise, all positions and support for him will be cut. Arvin can't let Nara live a long life with an unemployed husband.

Even though he can get a job outside the company. But it may not be as good and fast as it restores the prosperity and lifestyle he feels now. Therefore Arvin did not refuse when connected to follow this event, with the presence of Nara and her baby the world was completely changed. He will not be a man with a gloomy and spoiled future anymore.

“Come down.” Arvin opened the car door. But Nara flinched, heeded Arvin's words and remained seated in her chair.

“Gue fear.” Nara said with a trembling voice.

Never had he imagined before having to deal with the family of a respected person. A fancy dinner like this. Her life is almost like Cinderella. But not the happy kind of Cinderella. He was scandalous and full of blame. This moment was like a judgment for him. Though his dream is just to live a simple and happy life, with a husband he loves.

“Don't be far from me.” Arvin's hand stretched out, clutching Nara's ice-cold hand. He was really scared like that.

Finally Nara went down while holding on and holding Arvin's big, warm hand. Maybe for the first time he felt the grip of the hand. Nara usually hates being in contact with Arvin. This time Nara didn't want to let go. Feeling safe near Arvin and his firm grasp, Nara assures him that being next to him will be fine.
