Love Without Memory
Nathan's Plan

Vina was still in Nathan's room, for a while she felt victorious thinking if Nathan would do what he wanted to keep her in the office.

Suddenly though......

"Your hope is too far away Vina" Nathan said with a smile as he released his hand which touched Vina's chin and pulled her hand from Vina's grasp.

Nathan then takes his steps toward the door of his room and holds the handle of the door.

"Do I have to open the door for you?" nathan asked which made Vina even more surprised.

"What do you mean, Nathan?" reply Vina asked immediately moved from her seat.

"I'll sign your resignation, you can leave the office right now if you want!" replied Nathan.

"But....."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you get your last decent salary!" nathan cut Vina's words and opened the door.

Vinapun immediately approached and closed the door to Nathan's room.

"Are you serious about what you said, Nathan? You must be kidding, right?" ask Vina in disbelief.

"I don't have much time to joke Vina, if you're tired of working here, you can get out right now, there's no holding you back!" nathan answered without hesitation.

"You know I'm in charge of our new project, right?"

"Yes, I know, you don't have to think about it, Evan and I are going to take over all the projects you're working on" Nathan replied.

"Does this mean you're dumping me now? don't you need me anymore and just dump me?"

"throwing? aren't you the one who wants to resign? stop being manipulative Vina, now I won't hold you back if you really want to leave this company!" nathan's reply began to raise his voice.

Vina fell silent, her eyes started to glaze over, hoping that Nathan would soften on her.

"You've been working really well here and I know how hard you've been working, which is why I can easily give you something more than anything else because you work harder than everyone else!" said Nathan.

"I was selfish for trying to keep you here, but now I'm going to let you go if you don't feel comfortable here, because no matter how close we are, we're just superiors and subordinates, you know, you have to remember that!" continued Nathan.

"Why are you suddenly like this Nathan? is it because of Aleea? did Aleea tell you to act like this to me?" ask Vina.

"Don't bring Aleea in the office, he's never been involved in office matters at all, whatever my decision about the company has nothing to do with Aleea" Nathan replied.

"He must be jealous, right? she must've...."

"She's my wife, it's only natural that if she's jealous when her husband is with another woman, she's already quite understanding of our closeness as Vina's partner, so if you approach me blatantly outside of work, of course he's jealous!"

"Have you ever thought about me Nathan? is there never me in your heart even if it's just for a moment?" vina asked with tears dripping down her cheeks.

"I've told you so many times Vina, answering your question again will only hurt you" Nathan said.

"You're a bad Nathan, you're so selfish and mean!" vina said while hitting Nathan.

"If this is a personal matter, we can solve it outside of Vina's working hours, now I have to focus on my work!" nathan said as he held Vina's hands and opened the door and slightly pushed Vina out of the room.

An upset Vina leaves Nathan's room by wiping away the tears on his cheek.

On the other hand, Evan who was about to enter Nathan's room was only silent when he saw Vina who came out of Nathan's room with an annoyed look on her face.

"What else is with him?" evan asked, bringing himself to open Nathan's room.

Evan approaches Nathan and gives Nathan a map.

"Did Vina cause trouble again?" ask Nathan.

Nathan just kept silent as he shifted Vina's resignation letter on his desk to be seen by Evan.

Evan took it and read it.

"Yet another letter of resignation? are you gonna sign it?" ask Evan.

"No," Nathan replied briefly as he opened the map Evan had given him.

"Does that mean you're gonna beg him again and do whatever he asks?" ask Evan.

"Of course not, no one will be able to control me Evan, what else Vina!" replied Nathan.

"Then why don't you sign it if you don't hold it?" evan asked not to understand.

"I won't repeat my mistake again Evan, so I'll let him out if he wants to get out, but I'm sure he'll change his mind and this resignation letter is just a bluff for me to follow what he wants!" nathan explained.

"But what if he really resigns? are you ready for that?" ask Evan.

"I must be ready, there must be something I sacrifice to pick up what I dreamed of all this time, I don't care if I have to work 10 times harder if Vina really leaves this company!" replied Nathan.

"Why are you suddenly so sure?" ask Evan.

"I don't want him to feel on the clouds just because I need him here, he should be the one to follow me, not the other way around!" replied Nathan.

"It's good that if you realize, you should have been strict with him a long time ago!" said Evan.

"But all this time I tried to make him comfortable here so that he continued to work well, but he actually misinterpreted my attitude to him" Nathan said.

"Whoever will do what Vina did Nathan, you shouldn't give Vina anything too much so she doesn't expect more of you and forget her place here!" reply Evan.

"You're right, now I'll be more careful, I don't want any more mistakes!" said Nathan.

"There has to be something I sacrifice to get what I want and this time, Vina is the one I have to let go of!" nathan said in his heart.

"About Aleea, what are your plans now ? it's not impossible for Bryan to come back to find Aleea, is it?" ask Nathan.

"You're right, that's why I've started my plan now" Nathan replied with a smile.

"Plan? what plan? you haven't told me anything since yesterday!" ask Evan.

"I haven't told you yet, but I'm sure you'll find out later" Nathan replied.

"But make sure that if your plan doesn't hurt Aleea, Nathan!" said Evan.

"Are you worried about her so much?" ask Nathan.

"She has suffered enough with her life and I'm taking part in the suffering she's going through right now" Evan replied.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt him" Nathan said.

"I'm going to get closer to him and make him really fall in love with me" Nathan continued.

After finishing his business with Nathan, Evanpun returned to his room.

Elsewhere, Aleea was busy with Tika to prepare their new bread and menu.

Time passed, the clock showed at 9 pm, Aleea and Tikapun went to cooking class.

That day, there were no cooking classes as they would only talk about the bazaar their cooking class would do as the last event before they graduated from the cooking class.

The cooking classes that Aleea and Tika took were indeed quite short, but provided many new things for the members. Not only did they learn how to cook multiple menus, but they were also taught to do business.

At exactly 12 noon, Aleea and Tika returned to the shophouse while thinking about the bazaar they would join as well as one way of promotion for their cake shop.

"The votive was held from morning to evening Aleea, if we want to maximize our promotion, we should do it from morning to night as well!" said Tika.

"If that's the case, it looks like we're short on members, there should be at least one or two more people helping us" Aleea replied.

"You're right, I'm going to try to get help from my friends" Tika said.

"Call me if you've made a friend, so I don't worry!" said Aleea who was answered with a nod of the head by Tika.

Aleea and Tika then opened their cake shop and it didn't take long, one by one customers came.

While serving customers, Aleea and Tika discussed the theme of their bazaar and what they would sell at the bazaar.

Tika later noted some of the things that had become their agreement, while Aleea started creating content to promote their stand on the bazaar they would follow.

That way, their old customers will come to the bazaar event and with the discounts they provide, they can attract new customers who come to the bazaar event.

"I've contacted some of my friends, but they're all busy on Sundays" Tika said with a sigh.

"If they were all workers, they would already have their own plans for their holidays" Aleea replied.

"You're right, some of them work in factories and companies that only give Sundays off, so they've set up their Sundays for a vacation or just take a break at home," said Tika.

"Is it possible that we can handle both, Tika?" ask Aelea.

"It seems unlikely that Aleea, Sunday's bazaar tomorrow will be held in a very large place and there will definitely be very many visitors coming, it seems impossible if we do it with just the two of us," answer Tika.

"Hmmm, you're right" Aleea said, nodding her head.

For a while they just kept quiet, thinking about how to seek help again.

"Just think about it tomorrow, now we go home first!" aelea said, then moved from her seat followed by Tika.

They shut down their shophouse at exactly 9pm and cleaned up the shophouse and cleaned things up before they left the shop.

"Something seems to have picked you up!" tika said with a nudge on Aleea's arm.

"When I forbid him to always come" Aleea replied with a sigh.

"Just leave Aleea, as long as she doesn't overdo it" Tika said.

"You're right," Aleea replied with a nod of her head.

Tika then got into her car and drove her car away, while Aleea immediately took her steps towards Evan's car which was parked a few meters from the front of her shop.

Aleea approached Evan's car, then knocked on Evan's glass door with a smile.

Evanpun immediately got out of his car with a smile on Aleea.

"You're here apparently, I thought you were home!" said Evan who pretended to be surprised by Aleea's arrival.

"A very natural dialogue" Aleea said with a small clap.

"Hehe. I accidentally passed this path Aleea, so I came to pick you up, all of you" Evan said.

"Alright, reason accepted," Aleea replied which made Evan chuckle

"Let's go inside!" evan said as he opened his car door for Aleea.

"Have you had dinner?" evan asked Aleea when Evan had driven his car out of the shop yard.

"Already," Aleea replied with a nod of her head.

"Aaahh so," said Evan who sounded uninspired.

"I can accompany you if you want" Aleea said, staring at Evan sitting next to her.

"Fellowing me?" evan asked repeating Aleea's words.

"Yes, I can accompany you to dinner, because it looks like you haven't had dinner yet, right?"

"Where do you know?" evan asked back.

"You look like a starving cat now hehehe." Aleea replied with a chuckle that made Evan chuckle.

"Okay, I'll take you somewhere then!" evan says he steers his car into an alley.

After nearly 10 minutes of driving in a not-so-wide alley, Evan finally reached his destination.

A field in which there are many food vendors and snacks night. It was late, but the place was still crowded.

"Do you mind if I bring you here?" ask Evan to make sure.

"Of course not, it just seems like I'm getting hungry from smelling the hawker smell here" Aleea replied with a smile.

"Good then, we buy whatever you want here!" evan said then walked closer to every stand that was there with Aleea.

After a long drive around, they returned to the car with some kind of night snack Aleea chose herself.

They enjoy their meals in the car while chatting and occasionally laughing.

"Why did you suddenly bring me here? have you been here often?" ask Aelea.

"Only a few times when Nathan and I were in school" Evan replied.

"When you go to school? that means they've been selling here for a long time?" aelea asked in surprise.

"It may or may have been replaced by their children" Evan replied while enjoying a sweet martabak with Aleea.

"Do you like it?" evan asked while cleaning the chocolate on Aleea's lips with a tissue.

Aleea simply nodded her head with a smile then took a tissue to clear her lips.

Biiiippp biiiipp biiiiippp

Aleea's phone rang, a message came in from Nathan.

"Where are you Aleea? tell me, I'll pick you up!"

Aleea brought her gaze to Evan in shock at Nathan's unusual message.
