Aleea's Regret

Orange rays began to be painted at the end of the western sky of the afternoon, along with that Aleea had just finished busying herself in the garden that was in Nathan's courtyard.

"Finally done," Aleea said as she carried her gaze sweeping through the ranks of flowers and plants she had grown.

When Aleea was sitting on the porch of the house staring at the newly planted flowers, he only realized that since this afternoon Nathan had not approached him at all.

"Has he always been this busy?" aelea asked inwardly and then moved from her seat and took her steps into the house after she washed her hands and feet.

Aleea then walked up the stairs and knocked on Nathan's door several times, but there was no sound from inside the room.

"Aleea, what are you doing there?" nathan asked who had just come out of his room near the study.

"I think you're still in the study" Aleea replied and walked over to Nathan.

"I've finished everything, I just came to you," Nathan said.

"I'm done planting everything" Aleea replied.

"Then take a shower, after this I will take you out of the house to buy something" Nathan said.

"Bought what?" ask Aelea.

"You'll find out later, now take a quick shower, I'm waiting for you up front!" nathan said without answering Aleea's question.

Aleea then went inside her room to shower immediately. After preparing himself well, Alee came out of his room and approached Nathan who was waiting for him on the porch.

"It's so pretty" Nathan said, praising Aleea's beauty.

Aleea only smiled faintly then grabbed Nathan's hand and held him.

Nathan let what Aleea did and took their steps toward the car.

Nathan then drove his car away from home to go to one of the bookstores not far from his home.

Once there, Nathan and Alee also start looking for the book they want each.

After getting the book they wanted, they walked out of the bookstore.

"Why did you buy that book? do you want to learn Japanese?" aelea asked as she looked at Nathan who was carrying a book about a quick way to learn Japanese.

"It's not for me, I bought it for Vina" Nathan replied.

"Vina? your secretary's in the office?" aelea asked making sure that retorted a nod of the head by Nathan.

"Why did you buy him that book? can't he buy it himself?" aelea asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

"I deliberately gave him this book so that he was excited to learn Japanese, actually he had mastered several foreign languages and Japanese was the next language he had to learn" explained Nathan.

"You're very considerate of him, it looks like the two of you are very close" Aleea said.

"I told you Aleea, she's just my secretary in the office, she's been working really well all this time, so there's no harm not if I buy this book for her," nathan's reply deliberately ignored Aleea's jealousy.

Aleea only sighed without saying anything, he did not understand why Nathan seemed to be unaware that what he was doing was making Aleea jealous.

After some time on the way, they arrived home. Aleea got out of the car and walked quickly away from Nathan to get into his room.

Shortly afterwards there was a knock on the door from the front of Aleea's room, but Aleea chose to ignore it and just sat on the edge of her bed reading the book she had just bought.

"Aleea, I'll go in even if you don't open your door for me" Nathan said from Aleea's doorstep.

"Just do what you want, you really don't care about me" replied Aleea who refused to move from her seat.

Nathan, who heard this, opened the door to Aleea's room and sat down beside Aleea.

"Are you angry with me?" ask Nathan.

Aleea just kept quiet by reading the book in his hand and shortly afterwards Nathan snatched the book from Aleea's hands.

"Don't ignore me like this, tell me what makes you mad at me?" nathan said, looking into Aleea's eyes.

"Can't you think about it yourself?" reply Aleea asked.

"Is it because I bought a book for Vina?" nathan asked guess.

Aleea just kept quiet by reclaiming the book that was in Nathan's hands.

"I'll explain to you Aleea, Vina's a long-time secretary with me, she's done a really good job as long as we work together and that's what makes us both look close, in addition to our age that is not too far away he is also a pleasant friend," said Nathan.

"But don't worry, there's no connection whatsoever between me and Vina, our relationship is only limited to superiors and subordinates who work well together and our closeness that is like a friend is one of my ways to make our relationship comfortable as a working partner" continued Nathan.

Aleea just kept quiet without saying anything, hearing Nathan's explanation made him even more annoyed.

"I hope you can understand Aleea," Nathan said as he patted Aleea's head slowly, then got up from his seat and walked out of Aleea's room.

"This is what I hate when it comes to women, it's very troublesome" Nathan said inwardly with a rude sigh as he walked into his room.

A long night had passed, and morning had come. Early in the morning Aleea came out of her room to approach the flowers and plants she had just planted yesterday.

While examining one by one the flowers and plants, he suddenly heard the sound of high heels approaching towards him.

Aleeapun immediately brought his gaze towards the source of the voice and was so shocked when he saw Vina in her neat clothes coming to his house early in the morning.

Aleea who was only speechless from shock was further irritated when she saw Vina walking past him just like that as if she did not see his presence there.

With annoyance Aleeapun immediately ran a small following Vina who almost entered his house.

"Wait!" said Aleea half-screaming which made Vina stop her steps and turn her body towards Aleea.

"Hi, I'm sorry I didn't see you earlier, good morning, Madam Nathan," said Vina greeting with a smile.

"What are you doing here so early in the morning? are you looking for Nathan?" ask Aelea.

"Not looking for him, but rather seeing him, since he asked me to come here himself, did he not tell you that we were going out of town for work?" vina answered at once asking.

Aleea who was only silent because Nathan did not tell him at all about his plan to go out of town with Vina for work and that certainly made Aleea upset.
