Suspicious Car

The days have changed. Since a few days ago Vina demanded Nathan's answer to the conditions he proposed. That certainly makes Nathan disturbed, but he has no other reason than to accept the terms of Vina.

"Okay, we're going on vacation one day, but I'm going to decide when and where we're going" Nathan tells Vina while Vina is in Nathan's room.

"It doesn't matter, so when are we going on vacation?" ask Vina excitedly.

"Late next month, when we visit a subsidiary that is outside the island," replied Nathan.

"I want to take Nathan on vacation, not to work" Vina grumbled.

"I know, but I can't take time off and reason to vacation with you, right? at the end of the month I have to check the development of the subsidiary outside the island, so we use that time for all vacationers, after all I just need to check the progress of the construction without having to do a lot of things," nathan explained.

"Hmmm.... Okay, but it's just the two of us, isn't it?" ask Vina to make sure.

"Yes, it's just the two of us" Nathan replied with a nod of his head.

"Yeeeyyy, thank you Nathan," said Vina with a smile and moved from her seat and out of Nathan's room.

Overjoyed, Vina accidentally bumps into Evan when he just opens Nathan's room door.

"Sorry Mr. Evan" said Vina, lowering her head and walking away humming.

"What's wrong with her?" evan asks Nathan when he gives Nathan a file.

Nathan just shrugged his shoulders without saying anything while checking the file Evan gave him.

"Have you set a date for our trip out of the island by the end of the month?" ask Evan.

"It is, but it seems I will go myself" replied Nathan.

"Why? isn't it Aryan himself who asked the two of us to see the progress of development there?" ask Evan.

"I can't leave Aleea alone, Evan," Nathan replied.

"What do you mean?" evan asked not to understand.

"I can't take Aleea with me and if I go with you, who will keep Aleea here? I can't trust anyone but you Evan, if anything happens to him wouldn't it be better if you were with him?" nathan explained.

"I don't understand what you mean, what will happen to Aleea? isn't she okay? after all, he was not a child that had to be looked after all the time!"

"He does look fine, but don't you know how he really is, if at any time something happens that we don't want, you can handle it immediately if you're nearby, you understand what I mean, don't you?" nathan clearly reasoned.

Evan only let out a long sigh without saying anything after he heard Nathan's explanation.

"About what happened to Aleea only we both know Evan, one of us should always be around him to avoid what we don't want" Nathan said.

"Alright, I understand," Evan replied with a nod of his head slowly.

"You are always reliable!" nathan said with a smile.

Evan just kept quiet and moved from his seat, took back the file that Nathan had signed and walked out of Nathan's room without saying anything.

In her heart, Evan always harbors her guilt for getting involved in the lies Nathan had planned for Aleea.

But there was nothing he could do but continue to follow Nathan's steps in hopes that Nathan could soften and his heart could be open to Aleea.

As time passed, Nathan was already at his house and was enjoying his dinner with Aleea.

"You don't have to wait for me to have Aleea dinner, because I don't come home every day at the same hour" Nathan told Aleea.

"It doesn't matter to me, I will always wait for you" Aleea replied.

"Aaahh yes, at the end of the month I will have to go outside the island to monitor the development of new projects there, it will not be long, maybe 2 or 3 days" Nathan said.

"Can I come?" ask Aelea.

"No Aleea, I'm there for work, not for fun, it won't take long anyway" Nathan replied.

"Did you go there by yourself?" ask Aelea.

"Yes I went alone, actually I went with Evan but there was something else that Evan had to do here, so I went alone," Nathan replied reasoned.

Of course Nathan didn't say if he went with Vina, because Evanpun didn't know about it.

Nathan purposely hides it from everyone, even Evan, because he knows Evan would not approve of his decision if Evan knew he was going with Vina.

Nathan accidentally goes one day ahead of Vina's day off and comes home on a different day with Vina so no one suspects him.

"You're always busy with your work, Nathan, can you take the time for us to just have a chat? we are like two strangers after we get married, very different from before we got married" Aleea said.

"There's nothing different about Aleea, maybe you just haven't really understood me after your memory is gone" Nathan replied.

"Didn't you feel it Nathan? before we got married you made me feel like I was your top priority, you made me think you were a romantic, loving man....."

"Do you regret our marriage?" nathan asked cutting Aleea off.

"No, I don't regret it, it's just.... This isn't the wedding I wanted, you understand what I mean, right?"

"I see, memory loss is not easy for you and it's also difficult for Aleea, but I'm sure one day you'll understand and understand that what we're going through right now is the decision of both of us, not just my own," Nathan said.

Aleea sighed then put down her spoon and moved from her seat even though she had not finished her meal.

As Aleea was about to leave, Nathan immediately restrained Aleea and brought Aleea into his arms.

"I'm sorry Aleea, I can't change what we agreed on, as time goes on, you'll understand" Nathan said.

Aleea remained silent in Nathan's arms. Even though they were married, getting a hug from Nathan was a rare thing for Aleea.

For him, his marriage to Nathan was just a status far different from the real life he lived with Nathan.

But Aleea had no other choice but to live up to what was before him, other than because of the ridiculous deal he signed, he said, he also had no other purpose in his life because all his memories had been erased from his life.

The day had changed, that day Aleea started taking her cooking classes after a few days off.

As usual, Aleea left with her driver. But just leaving the house, Aleea saw a car that had stopped in the corner of her house and soon began to walk away when Aleea's car had left the house.

Some time on the way, Aleea felt like the car she saw in front of the house was following her.

"Sir, please stop at the pharmacy for a while yes, there is something Aleea should buy" Aleea told the driver.

"Good non," replied the driver.

Aleea had only bought a few medicines that he did not actually need. Aleea deliberately asked his driver to stop at the pharmacy just to make sure whether the car he saw stopped or not.

As Aleea exited the pharmacy, Aleea saw the car come to a stop in front of the shop next to the pharmacy, making Aleea even more suspicious of the car.

Aleea then got into the car without lingering on the suspicious car as she did not want someone inside the car to be aware of her suspicions.

"Wait here for a minute sir" Aleea told the driver not to start the engine immediately.

Aleea wanted to ascertain whether the suspicious black car had stayed in place or gone ahead of Aleea and it turned out that it had remained in place for quite some time without anyone being seen going out or going in in car.

"How about non? can we leave already?" ask the driver to Aleea.

"Yes sir, we're leaving now," Aleea replied as she watched the black car she suspected.

Sure enough, as Aleea's car started to leave, the black car followed Aleea. Until quite some time, Aleea still continued to pay attention to the black car and memorize the license plate.

After some time on the way, Alee reached his destination and saw the suspicious black car stop at the corner where he was taking his cooking class.

"Sir, can Aleea ask for help?" aelea asked the driver.

"What can I help non?" reply driver.

"Please look at the black car over there, sir, but don't look too much at it, you just notice if anyone gets out or into the car until Aleea's cooking class is over," aelea.

"Why not? does non Aleea recognize the owner of the car?" ask driver.

"No sir, Aleea just felt like the car was following us all along" Aleea replied.

"Shall I report this to Mr. Nathan, non?"

"Aleea will tell Nathan after Aleea confirmed it sir, now you just notice if anyone is in and out of the car" Aleea replied.

"Good non," replied the driver.

Aleea then entered the two-story building where she took her cooking class.

Time passed, the clock had already shown at 12pm when Aleea finished her cooking class.

Aleea immediately got into his car where there was already a driver sitting in the car with attention to the car that was in the crossbar.

"The car did not move at all, since then there was also no one who came in and out of the car," explained the driver.

"We'll just go home sir, Aleea will tell Nathan himself later" Aleea said.

"But what if someone in the car was plotting his evil plan non?" ask the driver to worry.

"Father don't worry, if they really intend to harm Aleea, they must have done it since then, after all we will go home by passing through a crowded street, so there's no way they're attacking us in crowded streets" Aleea explained.

The driver nodded his head then drove the car away from the place to drive Aleea home.

During the trip, Aleea and her driver occasionally noticed the black car that had been following them since.

"They're very flashy, anyone will realize if they're following" Aleea said with a long sigh.

After some time on the way, Alee reached his home.

"What should I do now? do we have to let that car be there?" the driver asked Aleea after they saw the car stop at Aleea's house.

"Let it be sir, just keep their movements in order not to enter this house, as long as they do nothing just pay attention to them," Aleea replied.

"Good non," replied the driver.

Aleea then entered the house, took her steps into the room and immediately contacted Nathan.

Several times Aleea contacted Nathan, but missed, Alee decided to send a message to Evan.

"Is Nathan busy, Evan? I can't reach him at all!"

It didn't take long, a reply message came in from Evan.

"He's meeting his client, wait a minute!"

On the other hand, Nathan is talking about important matters with his client with Vina. After some time has passed, Nathan gets his deal with his important client.

"Finally one problem is over" Nathan said, relieved after his client left the meeting room.

"Now there is no longer anything that bothers you and at the end of the month we will enjoy our vacation time without work interruptions" said Vina.

"Just one day Vina, remember that!" nathan said as he checked his phone and found some missed calls from Aleea, but he ignored them.

"Yes I know, even if it's just one day, but I'll make it a very memorable day, not only for me, but for you, too" Vina replied with a smile.

Nathan's phone rang, a message coming in from Aleea containing a photo of the front of the black car showing the license plate clearly.

"What does that mean?" nathan asked in his heart.

A message came back from Aleea.

"Do you know who owns the car? the car was in the house from morning till now, it even followed me to cooking class until I got home!"

After reading Aleea's message, Nathanpun immediately contacted Aleea.

"Hello Aleea, where are you now?" nathan asked who sounded worried.

"I'm home" Aleea replied.

"You're okay, aren't you? no stranger comes near you, right?" ask Nathan.

"No, are you worried because of the car that's been following me?"

"I'm going to find out who the owner of the car is and why it's following you, for now stay home until I get home and don't let anyone into the house, I will also contact the security guard to make sure everything is safe!" nathan said with great decisiveness in every sentence.

"Alright, I'll stay home until you get home" Aleea replied with a smile as she felt Nathan was so worried about her at the time.
