The Cold

For a while, Aleea and Nathan were silent. They are both thinking about how they live the life they think is in line with what they should be doing.

Aleea then moved from her seat, took a deep breath and brought her gaze to Nathan who was still sitting.

"I know you're not that bad as Nathan, you're an almost perfect man, maybe even perfect in the eyes of others, a lot of people who want to be in your position right now," aelea said with a smile.

Aleea then took her steps away, walking on foot which led her towards the row of trees dominated by yellow and red leaves, typical of autumn.

Along the way Aleea enjoyed his steps while breathing the fresh air there while occasionally kicking the pile of leaves scattered along the path he passed.

Until suddenly Aleea accidentally stepped on the rock that made her almost fall, but someone pulled Aleea's hand quickly and immediately Aleea brought her gaze behind her to see the owner of the hand.

"You're always being stupid!" nathan said, releasing Aleea's hand.

Not being able to maintain his balance well, Aleeapun fell on a pile of leaves.

It didn't hurt, but it was enough to upset Nathan that he suddenly let go of his hand just like that and left without even turning his head to him.

Instead of chasing after Nathan, Aleea's gaze was on a squirrel who seemed to be wedged between tree branches.

Without thinking much Aleeapun brought his steps closer, but unfortunately he was not high enough to be able to reach the squirrel or tree branch.

"Looks like I can climb it!" aelea said as she watched the large tree before her.

Aleea then circulated his gaze around him, making sure that otherwise no one would see what he was going to do.

"It's a shame that if anyone sees me climbing a tree here, they'll definitely think I'm crazy hehe......!" aelea said with a chuckle.

Don't want to wait long, though, Aleea also began to hold tightly to the tree trunk in front of him and began to raise one leg until finally Aleea managed to bring himself on a tree trunk high enough to be close to the squirrel who wanted to he saved.

"I have to get closer" said Aleea, who moved more and more to reach for the twig clamping down on the squirrel.

Suddenly Nathan's voice called out to Aleea, causing Aleea to bring her gaze under the tree she was riding.

"Aleea, where are you, Aleea?" nathan asked as he brought his gaze around.

Suddenly......

PLUUKKKK

A small twig fell right on Nathan's head, causing Nathan to instantly take his gaze up and be so surprised to see Aleea sitting quietly on a tree trunk.

"Aleea, what are you doing there? are you crazy?"

"Calm down, don't be noisy, you can attract people here!" reply Aleea.

"Down now Aleea, hurry!" nathan said firmly.

Aleea simply shook his head slowly and began to focus on what his goal was, not caring about Nathan still nagging beneath him.

Slowly, Aleea pulled the twig that stuck the squirrel so as not to injure the squirrel until Aleea finally managed to get the squirrel out of the twig that squeezed it.

"Aahh sweet squirrel" said Aleea with both hands holding the little squirrel.

Being too happy with the squirrel he was holding, Aleea forgot that he was on a tree at the time.

Aleea ignored the balance of her body and ended up falling from the top of a fairly tall tree trunk.

Seeing that, Nathan who had been watching Aleea was trying to catch Aleea.

As a result, they both fell on a pile of leaves with Nathan at the bottom and Aleea who was right above Nathan.

Before they could change position, the squirrel that was still in Aleea's grasp suddenly bit Aleea.

"Y!!!!"

Aleeapun immediately went up and took off the squirrel that he had been holding since, while Nathan just stared at the small animal that ran quickly up the tree.

"Are you putting yourself in danger just for that little animal?" nathan asked after he got up and cleaned the leaves attached to his clothes.

"The squirrel was stuck between small twigs, so I saved him" Aleea replied.

"You're really crazy Aleea, do you know what would happen to you if you fell from up there? you could break a bone and....."

"I know, but I can't let it go when I see Nathan's trouble, I'm not that bad!" aelea said, cutting Nathan's words.

"Even after she bit you?" nathan asked with his eyes fixed on Aleea's wounded hand.

"This may be her way of thanking me," Aleea replied with a smile.

Nathan subconsciously smiled faintly at Aleea's reply.

"You smiling again? right, you're smiling!"

"I smiled because I just realized how stupid the woman I married was!" nathan responded and grabbed Aleea's hand and took her on a brisk walk away from the place.

Alee just grunted angrily and walked after Nathan who took him into the car.

Nathan then took the mineral water in the car and cleaned the injured hands of Aleea with mineral water.

Nathan then took the tissue and gave it to Aleea.

"Dry yourself!" nathan said he sat behind the wheel looking for a P3K box that might be there.

"Now, where are we going?" aelea asked after drying her hands.

"To the hospital," Nathan answered and started the engine.

"To the hospital? why?" ask Aelea.

"There's no cure here and you have to treat your wounds before you get an infection" Nathan explained.

"Oh my God, Nathan, don't overdo it, it's just a small wound, after all it doesn't hurt so much!" aelea.

"But you...."

"Are you worried about me?" aelea asked that made Nathan stop his words.

"I just don't want you to know this and think that I can't take good care of you" Nathan replied.

"In case you don't need to go to the hospital, we'll just go back to the hotel!" aelea.

"OK if that's what you want!" nathan said he drove back to the hotel.

Along the way, there was not much they talked about. They were busy with their thoughts until they finally arrived at the hotel.

With Aleea in hand, Nathan walked into the hotel and into the elevator to reach his room.

Inside the room, Nathan immediately dropped himself on the sofa, while Aleea carried himself to the balcony to enjoy the view from the balcony.

"Can I go there? is Nathan gonna take me there? or do I have to ask him to go there?" inner Aleea asked inwardly.

Time passed, the sun began to slowly sink with the air that felt increasingly cold.

But it did not make Aleea enter immediately, she was still sitting on the balcony, waiting for the sun to completely disappear in the dark.

"I don't mean to worry about you, but you'd be a real hassle if you got sick from being on the balcony for too long!" nathan said to Aleea.

"Do you want to go see the Eiffel Tower up close?" ask Nathan.

"Are you going to take me there?" aelea replied excitedly.

"If you want, after all we don't have any plans as long as we're here" Nathan said.

"Okay, I'll get ready!" aelea said and immediately got up from her seat.

"You have to change clothes, we'll have dinner before we go to the Eiffel Tower!" said Nathan.

"Where's dinner? I have to adjust my appearance to our dinner!"

Nathan then mentioned the name of one of the famous restaurants there.

Aleeapun soon found out about the restaurant and was so surprised because the restaurant was one of the best restaurants frequented by artists and other influential people.

Aleeapun prepared himself well, not forgetting he wore makeup and styled his hair well.

After he finished preparing himself, Aleeapun came out of the room. Nathan, who had been waiting for Aleea, just stared silently at Aleea without him noticing.

It was undeniable, Aleea looked so beautiful that night and it made Nathan seem unable to turn his gaze away at Aleea.

"Is something wrong?" aelea asked Nathan's dream.

"No, I'm just a little wonder why you're carrying such clothes!" nathan replied reasoned to immediately take his eyes off Aleea.

"Is this overreacting? do I have to change clothes again?" ask Aelea.

"No need, you've been ca... You've made me wait a long time!" nathan is trying hard to control himself.

Eventually, Aleea and Nathan leave the hotel in the car that Nathan was driving.

After some time on the way, they arrived at the restaurant.

They enjoyed their dinner quietly without debating anything, not as usual.

"Didn't you want to find out about this food?" nathan asked Aleea.

"Do you know the owner of this restaurant?" reply Aleea asked.

"No" Nathan replied briefly.

Aleea simply rolled her eyes without saying anything as she did not want to make a fuss there.

As for Nathan, he had several times stolen a glance at Aleea who looked so beautiful in his eyes.

"I must be crazy!" nathan said in his heart as he realized what he was doing.

After finishing dinner, they left the restaurant and went to the Eiffel Tower.

Arriving there, Aleea and Nathan walked together hand in hand.

Aleea who was amazed by what he saw could only enjoy the glare of the lights from the tall tower that was close enough to him.

Aleea did not even care about Nathan holding his hand, either because he was comfortable or because he was enjoying the beautiful scenery in front of him.

They spend quite a lot of time there until the night is getting late and the air is getting cold.

"Why does the air feel cooler?is it winter now?" aelea asked Nathan.

"The autumn is almost over, so the wind brings cold air before the winter really comes" Nathan explained.

"Aaaahhhh so, it seems like we better go home now before I shiver here!" aelea.

"You're so overdone, it's not even winter yet, it looks like you're going to freeze in the winter here!" reply Nathan.

"Look, who's overreacting now!" aelea sneered.

Aleea and Nathan got into the car. Nathan drove his car back to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, they immediately went into the room and scrambled to get into the bathroom because they wanted to change clothes immediately.

But in the end it was Aleea who first entered and immediately changed clothes and brought herself to sit on the sofa.

"Tonight you're sleeping on the couch!" aelea said to Nathan, who had just changed his clothes.

"Well," Nathan replied without rejection because they had to take turns to sleep in bed.

Aleeapun immediately moved from his seat and entered the room. But before dropping himself on the bed, he peeked at Nathan from behind the bedroom wall.

"What else?" nathan asked who saw what Aleea was doing.

"Don't go into any room sleeping in bed or I'll actually do something you'll regret later!" aelea warned.

"No," Nathan replied and laid himself on the sofa.

Aleea then brought herself to sit on the edge of the bed. In his heart there was concern because the room he occupied there was no door separating between the room and the sofa where Nathan slept.

The day has changed. Elsewhere, Evan had just arrived at the office and immediately walked into his room.

Evan focuses on his work more than usual because there are many things he has to handle himself during Nathan's departure.

Although it took a lot of time, Evan did it eagerly without the slightest bit of complaining.

This time, he really wouldn't bother Nathan with anything related to office matters.

Evan will discuss the office matter with Papa Nathan if indeed he can not handle the existing problems.

While focusing on his work, someone knocks on Evan's door and enters and gives Evan a map.

"This is the new product report that Evan's asking for!"

"Why did you give it to him? isn't this Vina's job?" ask Evan.

"Vina left her job to me during her off sir."

"A holiday? whatchu mean?" evan asked in surprise.

"Didn't he take 5 days off sir? I think Mr. Evan has already approved his leave!"

"The holidays? who gave him permission?" asked Evan who immediately got up from his seat.

"I think Mr. Evan......"

Evan immediately walked out of his room without waiting for Vina's friend's explanation. Evan immediately walks towards the HRD room, asking for answers to Vina's leave without her consent.

"Have you given Vina permission to leave?" ask Evan without further ado at the head of HRD.

"No sir, I asked him to see Mr. Evan for approval from Mr. Evan" replied the head of HRD.

"Why did he get 5 days off? who gave him permission?" ask Evan.

"Sorry sir, I don't know anything about it, I've done Mr. Evan's order not to give him leave and ask him to talk about it directly to Mr. Evan," obviously the head of HRD.

Evan let out a long sigh then walked out of the HRD room while contacting Vina.
