Nathan sat in his place still thinking about what he had just seen between Aleea and Evan.

Seeing Aleea and Evan clash makes Nathan think about his whereabouts and how real the relationship between Aleea and Evan is.

"Are you okay?" tanya Tika who approached Nathan by giving a glass of cold drink.

Nathan just nodded his head while receiving a drink from Tika and drank it.

"Don't get me wrong, Aleea and Evan are just friends, just like you are friends with Evan," said Tika who made Nathan immediately bring his eyes to Tika.

"Do you know Evan?" ask Nathan.

"Of course, he's a good friend of Aleea and Aleea is a good friend of mine, so I know Evan as well" Tika replied.

"Where do you know about my friendship with Evan? did Aleea tell you the story?" ask Nathan.

"Aleea never told me anything about you, even though we were friends, but Aleea never told me about her personal problems" Tika replied.

"And about your friendship with Evan, I think everyone knows it, almost everyone here knows you through the media and where you always have Evan, right?" continued Tika.

Nathan just nodded his head slowly without saying anything.

"I've seen your interview with one of the business media, you not only tell me about the business you are running at the moment but you also tell me about your good relationship with Evan" said Tika.

"You seen him?" nathan asked in surprise because he remembered the interview he had a few years ago.

"I'm very interested in the business world, so I follow a lot of people who I consider influential and one of them is you" explained Tika.

Nathan just smiled faintly at Tika's words.

"Exton at first I hate you so much" said Tika who made Nathan surprised and immediately brought his eyes to Tika.

"Hate me? why?" ask Nathan.

"Because I think successful people at a young age like you are lucky to have parents who have built their businesses for a long time, so people like you just move on without having to work hard," answer Tika.

"It's not as easy as you think, it's the pressure for someone like me" Nathan said.

"Yes I know, I started to change my view of it after I saw how the son of a successful businessman who destroyed his own parent's business, so I started to open up about it," reply Tika.

"About Evan, how well do you know him?" ask Nathan.

"I only knew him as a good man, he was attentive to the people around him" Tika replied.

"What about Aleea? have you known him for a long time?" ask Nathan.

"I know Aleea from cooking class, she's a nice, smart girl, she doesn't talk much about being with new people or an environment that makes her uncomfortable, but he will be a very pleasant figure in the environment that makes him comfortable" explained Tika.

"Did he never say anything about me?" nathan asked curiously.

"No, as I've said, he never told me about his personal life, he was very secretive about it" Tika replied.

"One thing I know, no matter how close he and Evan are, he can keep his relationship healthy, because he already has you and considers Evan to be just a friend" Tika continued.

"Nobody knows what is in the hearts of others" Nathan said.

Shortly after Aleea entered the stand tent, Nathan immediately got up from his seat, grabbed Aleea's hand and forced him out and walked towards a quiet place from the traffic.

"Take me off!" aelea said irritatedly as she pulled her hand violently.

"Can't you think before you act, Aleea? are you really so stupid or are you just pretending to be stupid?" nathan asked with both eyes of Aleea.

"Whatchu mean? you're....."

"You chased after Evan and talked to him in a quiet place, I don't know what the two of you are talking about, but what you did with him can raise suspicion for anyone who sees him, Aleea!" nathan cut Aleea's words.

"Are you following me?" aelea asked who was surprised because Nathan saw what he did with Evan.

"Is that important now? all this time I've just been watching you with Evan, I don't really care about what you two are doing out there, but you've gone too far to do that in a public place, Aleea!"

"Do what? I was just chatting with him, talking about misunderstandings so as not to drag on, your remark was outrageous because it was like accusing me of doing the wrong thing with Evan!" reply Aleea.

"What you're doing is Aleea's fault, though, everyone knows you're my wife and what you just did could be a big deal that not only involves me but also involves my mom and my company!" said Nathan.

"You're so overrated Nathan!" said Aleea who was about to walk away, but Nathan immediately restrained Aleea's hand.

"Listen to me Aleea, as long as you're my wife, everything you do will affect me, my family and my company, so never do anything stupid that you'll only regret later!" said Nathan.

Aleea nodded her head slowly then pulled her hand away from Nathan and removed the circular ring on her little finger.

"I'm giving you back this ring as proof that there's no marriage between us and I'm free to do whatever I want as long as it doesn't bother your good name and your family!" aelea said as she gave the ring to Nathan.

"With or without this ring, you remain under my control Aleea, with the contract you have signed, you will not be able to do anything as you please!" nathan said, throwing away the ring Aleea gave him.

Instantly Aleea brought her gaze towards the rolling ring. Suddenly a glimpse of memory flashed across Aleea's head as she looked at the ring that had rolled not far from where she stood.

Aleea saw a different ring rolling along with faint sounds that sounded in Aleea's ears.

Suddenly......

TIIINN TIIINN TIIIIN

The sound of a horn echoed clearly in Aleea's ears, so clear and screeched her ears that it made her head dizzy.

Instantly Aleea covered both of her ears with her hands, closing her eyes held back the dizziness that seemed to pierce her head very deeply.

Aleea sat down, a faint boisterousness now beginning to be heard clearly along with the memory that captured the face of the man who approached him as he lay with all the fear and pain he felt.

"Aleea, what's wrong with you, Aleea?" nathan asked who was crouching before Aleea.

"Aleea, open your eyes Aleea, what happened to you?" nathan asked with both Aleea's shoulders.

"Nathan......"

Aleea stammered about what she had just realized back then. From a flash of her brief memory, Aleea now realizes that there was Nathan in the accident that happened to her that made her have to lose her memory.

Aleea slowly let go of her two hands that were holding her ears, opened her eyes and looked at Nathan who was before her.

As Aleea's legs grew limp, he dropped himself in front of Nathan and swiftly restrained Aleea by embracing him.

"Aleea, what's going on? tell me!" nathan asked who was still worried about Aleea.

Aleea did not answer Nathan's question, instead he hugged Nathan and the longer his embrace tightened until Aleea suddenly lost consciousness.

Noticing that, Nathan immediately took Aleea to the medical room. After getting an examination from the nurse who was there, Aleea was left to rest in the medical room for some time.

"He's stable, he's probably exhausted, if within 30 minutes he's unconscious, we'll take him to the nearest hospital!" nurse said.

Nathan decides to accompany Aleea there, after he asks the nurse to tell Tika about what happened to Aleea.

For some time Nathan was silent, watching Aleea still being closed in front of him.

"What's the matter with him? does he remember anything?" nathan asked in his heart.

After a long while of waiting, Nathan looked at Aleea who was beginning to slowly blink.

"Aleea, are you conscious?" nathan asked as he clasped Aleea's hand.

Aleea just kept quiet, he looked at Nathan sitting beside his bed by digging back a brief memory that a few moments ago was reviewing back in his head.

"If you still feel dizzy, we'd better go to the hospital now!" nathan said, looking at Aleea, he just stared at her.

Aleea shook her head slowly and tried to move with Nathan's help.

"I'll ask Evan to help Tika, you should go home and rest at home!" said Nathan.

"Nathan, please answer me honestly!" said Aleea who ignored Nathan's words.

"What do you want to ask, Aleea?" ask Nathan.

"About the accident that made me lose my memory, were you involved in the accident?"

As Nathan fell silent, his chest suddenly thumped, worried that Aleea had remembered what had really happened back then.

"Tell me honestly Nathan, I beg you!" aelea said pleading.

"Did you... remember something?" nathan asked who was only replied with a nod of the head by Aleea.

"What do you remember Aleea?" ask Nathan.

"The ring you threw away made me remember the accident, all the sounds and visuals that were previously faint, now it's clear and now I know the reason I ran down the highway back then was to take the ring" Aleea explained.

"I don't remember what happened before, but I remember clearly as I tried to take the ring, there was a car that hit me then a man came to me and that man was. You are Nathan!" Aelea.

For a moment Nathan was silent, he realized that the longer Aleea's memory would increase and now Aleea had remembered the whereabouts of him who was at the scene of the accident.

"Please answer honestly Nathan, were you really involved in the accident?" aelea asked who wanted an answer from Nathan.

"What you remember right now is not a complete incident Aleea, you only remember some part of what happened back then and yes, I was involved with the accident that happened to you back then" Nathan replied after he tried to think quickly.

"Tell me Nathan, what happened back then, who threw the ring away? and why are you there?" ask Aelea.

Nathan took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before he answered Aleea's question for all the reasons he had thought of before.

"Actually we were fighting, you were angry and threw away the ring I gave you, but when I was about to take the ring, you just held me back and immediately ran to get it" Nathan explained.

"I don't know why you were holding me back then and stupidly I was, I was late to arrest you then and the accident happened, if only I could hold you back, the accident would not have happened," nathan continued by lowering his head.

"It seems like our relationship has been complicated from the beginning" Aleea said after hearing all Nathan's explanations.

"You're right, you always doubted my seriousness to you, that's why I immediately proposed to you when we were in Paris, I showed my seriousness with marriage, but you refused and continued to delay, that's what always makes us fight at that time" Nathan said.

"And that's what made me throw that ring?" asked Aleea who was reciprocated by a nod of the head by Nathan

"I threw the ring and Nathan tried to take it but I held it off? wh why? why am I holding him? is it because I really love her and don't want her to get hurt?" inner Aleea asked inwardly.

"You're the first and only woman in my life Aleea, it's not easy for me to be in a relationship with you, but I've always tried to convince you, that's why there's an agreement we agreed on before we got married," said Nathan.

"That ridiculous and stupid agreement exists so we can think longer before we decide to part after so many things we've been through together" Nathan continued.

"But why are you still keeping me Nathan? don't you love me anymore?" ask Aelea.

"It was the answer, it was the deal that made me hesitate to let you go, I've tried to forget you by being bad to you, for all the reasons you might not be able to accept, but......"

Nathan stopped his words, he brought his gaze to look at Aleea sitting before him.

"It's the right moment, it's the moment I'm waiting for" Nathan said.

"But what?" ask Aelea.

"In the end I realized that if I couldn't really hate you, I lived my days with guilt because of the accident, I tried to forget that guilt by trying to hate you because I was so tired of that guilt, I....."

Nathan was silent, his throat was stuck, somehow there was a sudden sense of sadness that he felt at that moment.

"Damn, I was too deep into my lies" Nathan said in his heart.
