Evan, shocked by Nathan's whereabouts, tries to hide his nervousness, as he does not want Nathan to misunderstand his intention of coming to meet Aleea.

"I don't know if you're coming home, shouldn't you be home tomorrow?" evan said as well as asking by bringing his steps to Nathan.

"The father who replaced me, you happen to be here, there's something I want to talk to you about" Nathan said, bringing his steps into the house.

Evan brought his gaze towards Aleea at a glance then brought his steps in following Nathan who was walking towards his study.

"Are you here to see Aleea?" nathan asked as he sat in his study, with Evan standing in front of the bookshelf.

"I just...."

"That's not important, there's a more important problem now" Nathan said, cutting Evan's speech.

"What's the problem?" asked Evan who was still paying attention one by one to the books on the shelf.

"Papa defers his promise to me" replied Nathan.

"What promise?" evan asked casually as he picked up the book he wanted to read.

"Promise to give the company to me after I'm married" Nathan replied, leading Evan to take his sights on Nathan.

"Are you serious? did Aryan tell you that himself? there's no way Aryan wouldn't keep his word if there wasn't a serious problem you caused!" evan asked in surprise who immediately returned the book he was holding and then brought himself to sit beside Nathan.

"I was so stupid, I didn't think long before I did my stupidity" Nathan said, ruffling his hair violently.

"What folly have you done Nathan?" evan asked not to understand.

"Now tell me first, did you tell me that papa would come to me outside the island?" nathan asked at once.

"Om Aryan did meet me at the office after Aryan knew if you went outside the island alone, but Aryan did not tell me if Aryan would come to you there" Evan replied.

Nathan let out a long sigh then dropped his head on the back of the sofa.

"What exactly is Nathan? what big mistake have you made that made Aryan suspend his promise to you?" ask Evan.

"You know if I didn't come to the field yesterday and I didn't finish my job, when you came to the hotel, you saw me drunk, I didn't even notice and forgot how you could meet me that night" Nathan replied.

"Well, you're really crazy Nathan!" evan was surprised to hear Nathan's explanation.

"Papa thinks if I go there just for fun, that's why I'm asking you not to come with me" Nathan said

"What really happened? from morning until noon no one could contact you yesterday, making Aryan ask your whereabouts to the leader who was there and it turns out you did not go to the field at all, you didn't even finish your job on time!"

"I know you'd be very upset if I told you the truth, but just so you know Evan, I really regret it!" said Nathan.

"Are you there with Vina?" evan asked guess which made Nathan immediately bring his gaze to Evan.

"I guessed it" said Evan, nodding his head slowly, though Nathan had not answered his question.

"I had to Evan" Nathan replied.

"What and who forced you Nathan? have you been crushed by Vina's temptation?" ask Evan.

"No, I'm not interested in him at all, I'm willing to let him change his decision not to resign from the company, you know I need him, Evan, I can't possibly let him leave the company!" nathan explained.

"And look what's happening now, you're missing your big chance of getting the company even after your big lie to Aleea!" evan was upset.

"I know and I'm so sorry for it" Nathan replied with his head lowered.

"I can't give you any advice, Nathan, start thinking long before you do something so you don't regret it!" evan then walked out of Nathan's study.

As he climbed down the stairs, Evan saw Aleea who was in the kitchen.

"Hmmm... It smells so good!" evan said that made Aleea immediately bring his eyes to Evan.

"If you're not in a hurry wait a minute, we're having dinner together, I'm cooking more tonight" Aleea said.

"Alright, I'll wait," replied Evan.

Aleea smiled and continued in the kitchen accompanied by her aunt, while Evan immediately took his steps to the terrace of the house and saw the sun that had just set.

Shortly after, Nathan arrives and takes his steps to sit next to Evan.

"I thought you were home" Nathan said.

"Aleea asked me to wait, she invited me to dinner, you don't mind if I come to dinner with you?"

"Of course not, because of mama's misunderstanding yesterday don't keep you at a distance with Aleea, Evan!" reply Nathan.

"Have you spoken to Aunt Hanna?" ask Evan.

"Had, I hope you really stopped suspecting the two of you" Nathan replied.

After a long chat, they then walked into the house after Aleea told her that dinner was ready.

Aleea, Nathan and Evanpun enjoy their dinner together.

"Did you cook all this Aleea yourself?" ask Evan to Aleea.

"I cooked all of this with aunt's help, some of these menus were the ones I learned in cooking class" Aleea replied.

"It looks like you're better at cooking like this than making cakes" Evan said.

"really? does this cooking taste right with you?" ask Aelea.

"It's like the cuisine in the restaurant, isn't it?" evan replied as he took his eyes to Nathan and slightly nudged Nathan's foot under the table.

"Yes, I agree" Nathan said.

"But cooking classes are now focusing on cakes and sweets, but I rarely practice them at home" Aleea said.

"You know I don't like Aleea's sweet food, so if you want to make it you'd better give it to Evan" Nathan said.

"really? do you mind if I give Evan my cake?" ask Aelea.

"There's no reason to object to Aleea unless Evan rejects her" Nathan replied.

"No, I won't turn it down, I'll accept any cakes or sweet treats you make" Evan said.

"Okay, but you have to promise to give Evan an honest assessment, so I know what I need to fix!" aelea.

"Of course," Evan replied with a nod of his head.

Aleea enjoyed her dinner with a happy smile as Nathan allowed her to make a cake and gave it to Evan.

That way Aleea could more often practice the new material she got in her cooking class so that she could quickly correct her flaws.

After they all finished dinner, Evan and Nathan left the dining table, while Aleea cleared the dining table with aunt.

"I don't understand why Aleea was so worried about you yesterday when your attitude was that cold to her" Evan said after confirming there was no Aleea nearby.

"She's overrated and I don't like her very much" Nathan replied.

"Maybe he's really in love with you" Evan said.

"You really only care about yourself, Nathan!" said Evan who only answered a thin smile by Nathan

After Evan leaves, Nathan enters the house and takes his steps into his study.

As for Aleea, she was in her room. Aleea was looking for pastry recipes and re-studied all the ingredients about the world of the pastry she got from her cooking class.

While focusing on the material, Aleea suddenly remembered something.

"It seemed like Evan was holding something when he met me in the park, he put it in his pocket when he saw Nathan, what was he holding? is he gonna give it to me or does he want to give it to Nathan?"

Aleea shook her head slowly then smiled.

"If Evan and Nathan are so different in mind, Nathan is so cold that Evan is so warm, Evan always knows how to please women" Aleea said with a smile.

The days have passed. That day Aleea was off from her cooking class. That morning he was having breakfast with Nathan at the dinner table.

"Nathan, we need to go to the supermarket to do some shopping, are you free today?" aelea asked Nathan.

"Why not ask your aunt to go shopping?" nathan replied without answering Aleea's question.

"It seems nice if we shop for our own monthly needs, so let auntie shop for kitchen problems only," Aleea replied.

"You've always made your life complicated by Aleea!" said Nathan.

"This is not something that complicated Nathan, instead shopping at the supermarket with your partner is one thing that is fun and can make......"

"Go with the driver" Nathan said, cutting Aleea's speech.

Aleea let out a long sigh then put down her spoon and sipped her drink.

"Didn't the driver have permission for you if you can't work today?" ask Aelea.

"Aaaahhh yes I forgot, then go with Evan, I'll call him later" Nathan replied.

"Evan again? why always ask Evan to replace you, Nathan? shouldn't it be me and my husband who did it?" aelea asked with a slight raise of her voice.

"Because I'm busy and it's only Evan I trust to take care of you," Nathan replied with a smile and then got out of his seat and left.

"Why wouldn't Evan just marry me if Evan was always there for me?" aelea grumbled in annoyance which Nathan of course did not hear.

On the other hand, Nathan walked into his room, changed his clothes and grabbed his car keys. Before leaving the house, Nathan calls Evan.

"There's always work for me if you call me on weekends like this!" evan said after he received Nathan's call.

"Not an office job, but another job" Nathan replied.

"What job?" evan asked with a frown.

"Come here and take Aleea shopping at the supermarket" Nathan replied.

"Why did I drive him? shouldn't you be her husband driving her?" ask Evan.

"As for Evan, it has nothing to do with shopping with marital relations, whether you or I drive him, the prices in the supermarket will make no difference!" said Nathan.

"Then what about you? what's the reason you refused to accompany her?" ask Evan.

"As usual hehe." replied Nathan.

"Hmmm... Okay, I'll see Aleea in a minute" Evan said.

"Good job Evan, thanks!" nathan then ends his call to Evan.

After ending his call to Evan, Nathanpun comes out of his room.

"Are you leaving?" aelea asked Nathan.

"Yes, I told you I'm busy, right?" reply Nathan.

"I thought it was for work, but seeing your clothes like this seems like you're not going for work" Aleea said, watching Nathan's clothes.

"I.. There's another important need" Nathan replied.

"More important than spending time with me? your wife?" ask Aelea.

Nathan let out a long sigh then walked over to Aleea and brought Aleea into his arms.

"You're more important than everything Aleea, but that doesn't mean I should ignore anything else, right?"

"May I know what important things you're gonna do today? are you going with Vina?" asked Aleea who was still in Nathan's arms.

"I went out to discuss work with my old friend and I definitely wasn't with Vina" Nathan replied.

"Because it's not a formal meeting, so I'm just wearing this casual outfit" Nathan continued.

"You didn't lie to me, did you?" ask Aelea.

"Of course not, you can ask Evan if you trust Evan more than I, your husband!" replied Nathan.

"Of course I trust you more, you're my husband" Aleea replied.

"Then get ready, Evan will pick you up!" nathan said as he released Aleea from his arms.

Alee nodded his head, letting Nathan leave the house.

"He couldn't possibly lie, he would definitely say honestly if he did go with Vina," Aleea said in her heart.

Aleea then took her steps into the room to get ready. Shortly afterwards the aunt knocked on Aleea's room door to tell Aleea that Evan was already waiting for her in front.

Aleea then grabbed her sling bag and walked out of her room and approached Evan who was waiting for her on the porch.

"Good morning Mrs Nathan," said Evan as usual as she watched Aleea approach her.

"Good morning Evan," Aleea replied with a smile.

"Are we going now?" asked Evan who was reciprocated by a nod of the head by Aleea.

They get in the car, Evan drives his car away from Aleea's house.

"Where do you usually shop for Aleea?" ask Evan to Aleea.

"Mmmm... actually this is my first, because usually the aunt who always shops all the needs of the house," replied Aleea.

"Well, then why do you suddenly want to shop for yourself?" ask Evan.

"Actually I wanted to spend more time with Nathan while he was off, but it turned out that there were other important things he had to do" Aleea explained.

"He is always busy with his work, but believe me all that he does is not only for himself, but also to make sure your life is always fulfilled if with him," said Evan.

"I will try to understand it," Aleea replied with a long sigh and nodded her head.
