Love Without Memory
At the Hospital Again

The day has changed. Aleea had already woken up from her sleep and did not find Evan in her room. Since last night Evan had indeed forced to accompany Aleea even though Aleea had already rejected her, until Aleea finally let Evan accompany her in her room.

"Has he gone?" aelea asked herself as she moved from her sleep.

Just as Aleea was sitting on her bed, Aleea's door opened and Evan walked in and walked over to Aleea.

"I thought you were gone" Aleea said.

"There's no way I can go without telling you," Evan replied with a smile and sat down beside Aleea's bed.

"How are you doing now? is it better?" evan asked.

"Yes, I'm fine" replied Aleea.

"Good then, after this you should take a break from all your busyness Aleea, at least only for a few days" Evan said.

"No way Evan, what about my cooking class and my store? I can't possibly let Tika get busy by herself in the store!" reply Aleea who disapproved of Evan's words.

"I've called him and told him you should rest at home for a few days and he doesn't mind" Evan said.

"I'm fine Evan, my shop just opened for a few days, I can't possibly rest at home and let Tika work alone!" aelea.

"Your situation has not completely stabilized Aleea, you must rest to calm your mind" said Evan who was a little pushy.

"But....."

"It's for your good Aleea, I beg you" Evan pleaded with Aleea's eyes.

Aleea let out a long sigh then nodded her head, making Evan smile happily as he managed to persuade Aleea to want to rest at home.

Evan's phone rang, a call came in from Nathan.

"Hello Nathan, I'm still in the hospital, maybe I'll be a little late later" Evan said after he received Nathan's call.

"Did you accompany her last night?" ask Nathan.

"Of course, it's because you didn't come and accompany her" Evan replied.

"You're so overdone Evan, now come to the office quickly, there's something you haven't explained to me!" said Nathan.

"I've done all my work Nathan, haven't I sent you the report?" reply Evan.

"It's not about work" Nathan said.

"Aaahh about Dr. Rizal, I've found out everything, I'll explain everything later when I get to the office" said Evan who understood Nathan's intentions.

"There will be no Evan, you have to leave now, I have to leave in the afternoon and maybe I'll be back at night, so it's only time this morning to explain everything to me!" said Nathan.

"I'll just wait for the doctor to check on Aleea and take her home, after that I'll be leaving!" reply Evan who did not want to leave Aleea.

Evan ends Nathan's call and deactivates his phone and keeps it in his pocket.

"Go Evan, before Nathan nags at you!" aelea said with a smile.

"In a moment the doctor will come and check on you, I will leave for the office after driving you home, Aleea," Evan replied.

"I'm so grateful that you've been with me here, Evan, so now you have to go to the office to do your responsibilities at the office, don't you know I'm okay? after all I can also go home by taxi" Aleea said.

Evan was silent for a while, sighing longly with his gaze on Aleea.

"Do I have to go now?" evan asked who was replied with a nod of head and a smile by Aleea.

"Are you sure?" asked Evan who was feeling heavy to leave Aleea.

"I'm sure Evan, do your responsibilities in the office well, I'm fine here and I'll go home in a taxi" Aleea replied with a smile.

"Well, I'll go, call me right away if you need my help!" said Evan who was met with a nod of the head and a smile by Aleea.

In the end, Evan actually left Aleea in the hospital as he had to leave for the office immediately.

On the other hand, Aleea who had waited long enough for the doctor, started to feel bored. Aleea then got out of her bed, walking out of her room with the infusion pole that was always beside her.

While walking for fresh air in the morning, Aleea saw Nathan's mother who had just walked out of a room with a male doctor.

"Why is my mom here so early? is your mom sick?" aelea asked herself.

At first Aleea wanted to go and avoid so that Nathan's mama did not ask about the reason for his existence there, but on the other hand, Aleea was worried about the state of Nathan's mama, worried that Nathan's mama was sick at the time.

As a result, Aleeapun took his step towards mama Nathan, still with the infusion pole that came with him.

"Mama, why is mama here so early in the morning? is mama sick?" aelea asked which of course made Hanna so surprised.

"Aleea, mama....mama here to meet mama's friend, you yourself why are you here? what happened to you Aleea?" reply Hanna who was trying to cover up her nervousness for suddenly meeting Aleea there.

"Aleea was just exhausted, this morning it seemed like she could go home, but Aleea was still waiting for the doctor and, being bored, Aleea came out to get some fresh air" Aleea explained.

"Then mom will take you home, it just so happens that your business is done here" said Hanna.

"Come, mama will take you to your room" continued Hanna while holding Aleea's arm.

"Excuse me doc" Aleea told the male doctor in front of her.

"Doctor Rizal" Aleea said in her heart as she read the male doctor's name tag.

"Is the doctor your friend?" aelea asked Hanna as they walked towards Aleea's room.

"Yes, she's a college friend of my mom's who just came back from America, so I met her when I found out she was working here" Hanna said.

"Aahhhhh, did you come here alone?" ask Aelea.

"Yes, mama is alone, how about you Aleea? are you alone?" reply Hanna asked.

"Mmmm.... Aleea was alone, because Nathan had just left for the office, he had accompanied Aleea here last night," Aleea said with an awkward smile.

"Aleea's condition is fine, ma, so Aleea asked Nathan to go to the office anyway, he also accompanied Aleea last night" said Aleea.

After a long wait in Aleea's room, the doctor came and checked Aleea's condition and allowed Aleea to go home at once.

"Mama will pay for his administration" Hanna said as they left the hospital.

"Thank you ma, but Aleea...."

"Already, just wait here," said Hanna cutting Aleea's words while asking Aleea to sit in the waiting chair.

As Hanna was about to pay an administrative fee on Aleea's behalf, Hanna was so shocked that the guardian of the patient named Aleea was Evan William.

Instantly Hanna brought her gaze to Aleea who was sitting behind her. He looked at Aleea question markingly.

Without Hanna knowing, Aleea was texting Nathan back then.

"I met my mom at the hospital, I reasoned that I was exhausted and that you had been with me since last night but I let you go to the office because I was fine."

After sending Nathan a message, Aleea immediately saved her phone and moved from her seat as Nathan's mother walked towards him.

They then leave the hospital with Mama Nathan's private driver.

"There's something I want to ask you, Aleea, but I hope you won't misunderstand my question!" hanna said to Aleea as they were already in the car.

"What do you want to ask, Mom?" ask Aelea.

"About your household with Nathan, is everything okay, Aleea?" hanna asked which made Aleea a little surprised because suddenly Hanna asked Aleea that.

"Everything's fine, ma'am, but why did you suddenly ask that?" reply Aleea.

"You know, my mom feels like you're so close to Evan, even the things Nathan should do with you instead of Evan doing them" Hanna said.

"Aleea is close to Evan as a friend because Evan is also friends with Nathan ma, about what Evan did with Aleea because Nathan is always busy with his work" Aleea replied.

"You know Aleea, Nathan is very busy, but that doesn't mean he should let his wife be with other men, right?"

"The other man that you mean is Evan ma, he's a friend and the person that Nathan believes in the most, at first Aleea also questioned about Nathan's attitude like that but the longer Aleea understood the more if that was how Nathan loved Aleea," Aleea said.

"Nathan loves Aleea in his own way that others may not understand and for Aleea, that's enough ma" Aleea continued.

"Do you love Aleea so much?" ask Hanna.

"This marriage would not have been possible if Aleea and Nathan had not loved each other, we accept all the flaws and advantages of each to be in this marriage" Aleea replied.

"You're a good girl Aleea, I hope you can take care of your heart for Nathan, I'm sure all he's doing is for the future of you two" Hanna said.

Aleea simply nodded her head slowly with a smile. In his heart he was really sick of having to perform like that in front of Nathan's mama.

He felt like a bad guy who deliberately lied and fooled Nathan's mom, even though he didn't want to do that.

"When will this all end? how long is Nathan going to arrest me and force me to keep lying like this? all of this really makes me sick, makes me feel even more guilty to everyone involved with this marriage!" inner Aleea in heart.

Elsewhere, Nathan was in his room with Evan who had just walked into his room.

"Why can't you wait once, but I just have to wait a little while to get Aleea home!" evan was upset.

"Your attention to him is too much Evan, he's not even a nobody in your life!" reply Nathan.

"He was indeed a nobody if from the beginning I didn't know him, but he became someone I had to take care of after I got involved in the charade that kept him alive in a lie!" said Evan.

"Okay okay, forget about Aleea, now tell me what you know about Doctor Rizal!"

"Doctor Rizal was once a student on the same campus as Aunt Hanna, but they were different majors, from all the data I had collected, Aunt Hanna and doctor Rizal were not close friends when they were in college, maybe just getting to know" Evan explained.

"What about Rizal's departure to America?" ask Nathan.

"Doctor Rizal continued his S2 in America until he graduated S3 and worked there, Rizal's doctor only returned here about 5 months ago," Evan replied.

"Five months ago? are you sure, Evan?" nathan asked in surprise, because based on what his mother said, Rizal's doctor had just returned and according to Nathan, 5 months was quite a long time.

"Yes, I have confirmed it at the campus where Rizal's doctor teaches and some other Rizal's doctor friends" Evan replied reassuringly.

"Does that mean your mom lied to me? is Mama actually hiding something from me?" ask Nathan.

"Don't think too far Nathan, maybe Aunt Hanna just found out about Rizal's doctor's return a few days ago" Evan replies.

"Because Rizal's doctor is an oncologist, so Rizal's doctor has several patients who are always preferred by Rizal's doctor, that's also what makes him more busy here" Evan continued.

"Oncologist? what do you mean, cancer specialist?" nathan asked who only answered a nod of the head by Evan.

"Here you go, don't think about it too much, the important thing is that Aunt Hanna is fine" said Evan as he moved from his seat.

"Aaahh yes, it looks like you should immediately prepare your plans for Aleea, I'm afraid that his memory will return sooner than we thought," Evan said and exited Nathan's room.

Nathan is silent, he then picks up his cell phone, intending to contact someone, but he sees the incoming message from Aleea.

"Mama's in the hospital again? what's for?" nathan asked inwardly after he read the message from Aleea.

On the other hand, Evan was standing in front of the elevator, waiting for the elevator to open. But when the elevator opens, Evan sees Nathan's mother standing by holding her nose that looks bloody, even Nathan's mama's hands are already full of blood at that time.

"Tante Hanna, what happened Auntie?" ask Evan to worry.

"Please take Aunt to Evan's toilet" Hanna said as she walked out of the elevator with a stagger.

Evanpun immediately helped Hanna go to the toilet. Evan waited in front of the toilet for some time until Hanna finally came out with her makeup looking on touch up again.

"Is aunt okay? Evan can take Aunt to the hospital if....."

"Tante is fine Evan, please forget about this incident and never tell Nathan" Hanna said, cutting Evan's speech.

"But Aunt....."

"Seek Evan, this is Aunt's request," said Hanna who was finally answered with a nod of the head by Evan.

"Well Aunt, Evan understands" said Evan.
