Nathan and Evan's friendship is indeed very close, maybe even closer than Nathan's family relationship with both parents and his sister.
Many things happen that only Nathan and Evan know, they are destined to be friends like the moon and the sun that alternately illuminate the earth.
Although very different, but the moon and the sun both keep the promise to always come alternately shining on the earth. They have different times but are always there, even if they are not visible, their existence still exists.
Somehow Nathan lives if there is no Evan, so does Evan who will somehow live his life if there is no Nathan.
That night, Nathan leaves the hospital to go to the police station. Nathan asks the police about the accident that happened to Aleea and Evan.
Police later explained that the accident occurred because a man who was riding a motorcycle in a drunk state could not control the speed of his motorbike until it almost hit Aleea.
But police have not managed to arrest the man and are still trying to find his whereabouts.
After leaving the police station, Nathan then went to the restaurant where the accident occurred. Nathan went there to check the CCTV when the accident occurred.
After getting what he needs, he immediately contacted someone.
"There's a job for you, find this guy before the police find him!" Nathan said to someone he contacted and sent a photo and video to the person.
Nathan then drives his car away, goes home.
"Shortening up in jail isn't enough for a jerk like you!" Nathan said with both hands tightly gripped at the wheel of his car.
After some time on the way, Nathan arrived at his house. He immediately walked in and climbed the stairs towards his room.
But his steps came to a halt as he looked at Aleea who was sitting in front of the door of his room.
"I'm waiting for you to come home, how's Evan doing? Is he conscious?" Aleea said at once asking.
"He's fine, there's no need to care about him too much, he's nobody in your life" Nathan replied with a flat look on his face.
"Are you still mad at me Nathan? You know I didn't make Evan like this, but why are you so mad at me? Would you be happier if I was the one lying in the hospital?" Aleea asked with both teary eyes.
"Evan will not harm himself if you can take good care of yourself Aleea, he is too kind and stupid to sacrifice himself to save you" Nathan replied with a hateful look at Aleea.
"I'm also saddened by what happened to Evan, I don't know if he's going to save me back then, but why is your attitude so overwhelming Nathan? Don't you know if Evan's okay? What the hell is it? What are you hiding from me?" Ask Aleea who's getting emotional.
"Keep asking because there will never be an answer to your question!" Nathan replies and opens the door to his room.
"Is it because you like him as a lover?" Aleea asked which made Nathan stop his steps.
"Your excessive behavior makes absolutely no sense to me Nathan, I'm your wife and you're so mad at me just because of this, did you actually marry me just to hide the disgusting relationship between you and Evan?" Aleea said at once asking.
Nathan, who had been filled with rage, immediately turned his back and quickly slapped Aleea.
PLAAAAAKKKK
The sound of a slap so loud sounded shrill in ears. Aleea fell silent by holding her sore cheeks with tears shed from both corners of her eyes.
Nathan roughly pulled Aleea's hand and cornered Aleea against the wall and then held Aleea's cheeks with one hand.
"So what you say to Aleea, you don't deserve to say such a thing to someone who has sacrificed his life for you!" Nathan said with his grip growing stronger.
"You don't know anything about my friendship with Evan, you don't even know what I've been through with Evan all this time, so watch your words before I make you say nothing!" Nathan continued, releasing his grip while pushing Aleea roughly.
Nathan then enters his room by slamming the door, leaving a loud thud that fills every corner of the mansion.
Aleea was still on the floor with tears drenching her cheeks, making the bruises on her cheeks even more painful.
Aleea really did not expect that such a bad thing would happen to her, at her wedding that was even just a few months old.
With her body trembling, Aleea got up from the floor and walked into her room.
Aleea sat on the floor of her room crying sobbing, lamenting what had happened to her.
Memory loss really made his life empty, only Nathan was with him when there was no one and anything he remembered.
But his trust in Nathan who will marry him just makes it like entering a cage without a door.
His decision to give his life to the marriage by that ridiculous deal made him feel like he was falling into a ravine that he could not even see the end of, or even there was no end to the darkness and sadness he felt at that moment.
Aleea could only cry, wailing bitterly full of sorrow. He just didn't understand why Nathan was so mad at him.
Nathan's overflowing emotions for no apparent reason eventually left Aleea running out of patience in the face of Nathan's anger, leading Aleea to unknowingly say such a bad thing to Nathan.
In his heart, he regretted what he had said, he felt guilty especially to Evan, the man who had always treated him very well, even better than Nathan, her husband.
Aleea then took her step into the bathroom, turned on her bathroom shower and sat against the wall under the shower, which carried cold water all over her body.
Aleea simply fell silent, disguising her cries with the gurgling sound of water falling to the floor, hiding the tears that drenched her cheeks with the cold water that increasingly drenched her body.
Time passed by with the night getting late. I don't know how long Aleea had been sitting in her place with the gurgling water from the shower that didn't stop wetting her body.
Slowly Aleea started to cool down along with the coldness hugging her body. That day, Aleea passed through her night full of pain, sadness and guilt that infiltrated every corner of her heart.
The long night seemed reluctant to pass quickly, like he was punishing Aleea for the bad things he had said to Nathan, especially about Evan who had been so good to him.
**
A long night had passed, Aleea blinked her eyes and realized that she was still sitting under the shower soaking herself all night.
Aleea then moved from her seat, feeling weak and dizzy, Aleea slipped to fall with her forehead hitting the shower player.
Instantly the flowing shower water mixed with blood dripping from Aleea's forehead.
Aleea then cleaned the blood dripping on the floor and turned off the shower and washed the wound in the sink.
Aleea whimpered, enduring the pain that was not only on her forehead, but also on her cheeks that still looked bruised and even bruised purplish.
"Since when has Nathan been so rude to me? has he been like that before? did he care about me only after I had an accident in Paris?" aelea asked as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.
"He really slapped me without hesitation, his slap was so hard it was still felt even today" Aleea said with her eyes glazed back.
Aleea took a deep breath and exhaled slowly several times, then bathed and changed.
As Aleea was about to walk out of the room, she hesitated and returned to sit on the edge of her bed.
"Nathan is so mad at me, what will happen this morning after he slapped me last night? I'm too scared to face it."
Aleea was silent for a while inside her room. Suddenly he remembered Evan's phone in his bag.
"I have to return Evan's phone, surely he really needs his phone, but..... Is Nathan going to let me go? what if he's gonna get mad at me?"
Aleea was worried about what he should do then. In the end, he decided to leave his room.
"I don't know what really happened between Nathan and Evan, but accusing him of having such a disgusting relationship is a mistake I've made, I have to apologize to her and stop arguing anything about her so she doesn't get angry with me" Aleea said.
After establishing himself, Alee opened the door to his room and walked out and down the stairs with a beating heart.
For the first time in his life, as far as he could remember, it was his first time feeling so scared to see Nathan.
"Everything will be fine Aleea, just follow what Nathan says and don't argue with it then everything will be fine," aelea said in her heart as she watched Nathan enjoying his breakfast at the dinner table.
Aleea brought his steps closer to Nathan, but when Nathan realized Aleea's whereabouts, Nathan moved from his seat before he finished his meal.
"Nathan, I'm sorry, I....."
Aleea paused her words when suddenly Nathan looked at her sharply, the instant Aleea lowered her head, she was really afraid that Nathan would do something to hurt her again.
"From now on I won't care about anything you do Aleea, don't need to ask me for permission, don't need to call me or text me, ignore me like I'm ignoring you!" nathan said with a look at the bowed Aleea.
Hearing what Nathan said, Aleea raised her head and looked at Nathan standing before her.
"What do you mean Nathan? why you..."
"There's no question Aleea, live your life without caring for me like I don't care about you at all" Nathan said, cutting off Aleea's words.
"What exactly was the big mistake Nathan made? why you....."
SRAAAAKKK PYAAARRRRRR
Aleea closed her eyes and was shocked by what Nathan had just done.
Everything on the dining table was now scattered on the floor after Nathan dropped everything with a single movement of his hand sweeping across the table.
Alee was silent and only opened his eyes when Nathan had walked away.
Aunty who was surprised by what happened immediately picked up all those scattered on the floor. Seeing that, Alee also helped aunty with tears that drenched her cheeks.
He still did not understand Nathan's great anger at him. Without Aleea knowing, Nathan's anger had not only to do with Evan, but also because Nathan was tired of pretending to be good in front of Aleea, he said, especially after the father who did not keep his promise to him.
"Let aunty alone, non-Aeleea, go into the room" said the aunt, who was feeling tired of Aleea.
"I'm sorry Aleea bi," Aleea said, holding back her sobs.
Aleea then moved and went back into her room.
"What does that mean? why would Nathan say something like that to me? does he really love me no more?" aelea asked with tears soaking her cheeks.
But when Aleea saw his sling bag, he remembered Evan's phone that he had to return to Evan immediately.
Aleea then went into the bathroom, washed her face in the sink while taking a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"Let Aleea be calm, everything will be fine, maybe Nathan is just angry for a moment" said Aleea, who tried to strengthen himself.
"I have to keep seeing Evan, after all I have to thank him and apologize directly to him" Aleea said.
Aleea then dried his face with a towel, occasionally moaning as his wound was hit by a towel.
Aleea then put on a slightly thick makeup to cover the bruises on her cheeks.
Before leaving the room, Aleea picked up her phone, intending to send Nathan a message.
"I have to keep asking him for permission" Aleea said.
But when he saw his chat room with Nathan, it turned out Nathan had blocked his number.
Aleea then contacted Nathan, but was not connected.
"It seems like he meant what he said" Aleea said with her eyes glazed back.
But Aleea immediately stared at the ceiling of her room, trying to hold back her tears from falling.
After trying to control his grief, Aleeapun came out of his room.
Aleea then asked the driver to drive her to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, Aleea immediately brought her steps towards Evan's room.
For a moment Aleea hesitated, yet she immediately entered after she steadied her heart to meet Evan.
Evan, who was sitting on his bed reading a book, was shocked when he saw Aleea enter his room.
"Mrs Nathan, good morning" said Evan with a smile.
"He was still smiling as usual after what happened," Aleea's inner heart.
"Good morning Evan," Aleea replied with a smile.
"How are you, Evan, what....."
"What happened to you Aleea? were you injured in an accident yesterday?" evan asked cutting Aleea off as Evan noticed the wound on Aleea's forehead.
"It's aahh....."
Aleea stopped her speech when Evan suddenly touched her face.
"It looks like I didn't see this wound yesterday" Evan said as he touched Aleea's face to examine the wound on Aleea's forehead.
