Behind the Suspicious Car

Vina who was in Nathan's room only let out a sigh of annoyance at seeing Nathan who seemed to care so much for Aleea, Nathan even ignored her as Nathan contacted Aleea.

Having been very upset and not wanting to hear how Nathan was worried about Aleea, Vinapun got up from his seat and walked out of Nathan's room with an annoyed look on his face.

Vina even accidentally bumped into Evan who was about to enter Nathan's room, but instead of apologizing, Vina actually put her upset face on Evan and passed away just like that.

Evanpun ignored him and chose to continue his steps into Nathan's room.

"What's wrong with Vina? did you guys just fight?" evan asked as he carried himself to sit in front of Nathan.

"No," Nathan answered briefly while contacting his home security.

After his call was answered, Nathan asked his house security about a suspicious car across from his house.

Satpampun confirmed about the suspicious car. Nathan then asked the security guards to leave the car there as long as it did not make any dangerous movements.

"Make sure no one gets into the house and call Nathan if anything happens!" nathan said to his house security.

"Okay sir," replied the security guard.

Nathan let out a long sigh and leaned his head against the back of his chair while thinking about the possibility of who was behind the suspicious car.

"What's up Nathan? is there a problem?" ask Evan.

"It looks like someone is following Aleea," Nathan replied.

"someone? who?" evan asked in surprise.

"I don't know either, but for sure someone had been near the house since morning, even following Aleea away to her cooking class until Aleea came home" Nathan replied.

"Is it possible that he is someone who knows Aleea?" ask Evan.

"I also don't know Evan, but it seems impossible, if indeed he knew Aleea, shouldn't he have approached Aleea immediately, instead of quietly following her!" reply Nathan.

"You're right, then what are you going to do now? shouldn't you find out who's following Aleea?" ask Evan.

Nathan then picks up his phone and sees the photo Aleea sent him, a photo showing the license plate of the suspicious car.

"Find out the owner of this car, it's the only thing that can show who really followed Aleea since morning!" nathan said as he showed Evan the picture of the license plate.

"Well, I'll try to find her" Evan replied and then moved from his seat.

Evan then returns to his room, he begins to find out about the owner of the car that matches the license plate Nathan gave him.

But it turns out the car came from a car rental that anyone can rent it. Evan then asks someone to find out about the identity of the car's tenant.

After a long wait, Evan's man contacted Evan, telling him he could not find out the identity of the car's tenant due to customer confidentiality.

"Well then, I'll meet the car rental owner myself" said Evan then ended his call.

The clock showed at 04:00 p.m., when Evan came out of his room and met Nathan.

"I can't figure out who the car's tenant is yet, it looks like he has enough money to be able to silence the owner of the car rental, if there's nothing I have to do, I'm going to go alone to the rental car" Evan told Nathan.

"Go and get the information I need!" reply Nathan.

"Alright, but you'd better go home now, maybe Aleea's freaking out at home right now!" evan said and walked out of Nathan's room.

Nathan then keeps all his files and prepares to get out of his room. But just as he was getting out of his seat, Vina walked into his room.

"Are you going home now?" vina asked Nathan who was wearing his suit.

"Yes, I have to go home now" Nathan replied.

"Why? is it because you're worried about Aleea?" asked Vina in an annoyed tone.

"She's my wife Vina, of course I'm worried about her" Nathan replied.

"Isn't there a security guard in your house, surely the security guard won't allow strangers into your house, right?" ask Vina.

"You're right, but I have to stay home, Aleea must be scared at home because there are strangers following her from morning," replied Nathan who was about to walk out of his room but was immediately detained by Vina.

"There is no need to overdo Nathan, Aleea must be fine, if there is someone who intends evil to him must have been someone who has done it since morning," said Vina.

"We don't know what will happen to Vina, I just don't want anything bad to happen to Aleea" Nathan replied as he pulled his hand from Vina and walked out of the room.

Vina just grunted annoyedly at where she stood, she then walked out of Nathan's room and immediately tidied up her desk.

"Are you going home now?" ask Vina's friend who saw Vina tidying up her desk.

Vina simply nodded her head without saying anything.

"Tumben once, you usually come home late at night, is it because Mr Nathan has come home?" fashion friend Vina.

"Be quiet, you're making me even more upset" Vina replied, then moved from her seat and immediately left her desk.

On the other hand, Nathan immediately drove his car home. The only thing that worried him was if someone who followed Aleea was someone who knew Aleea.

Although his logic has a different thought to what he is worried about, but does not rule out the possibility if what he is afraid of it actually happens.

"It could be that someone was monitoring Aleea to make sure if Aleea was a person she knew, I shouldn't let Aleea meet someone from her past, whoever it was!" nathan said by speeding up his car.

After some time on the way, Nathan finally reached his home and immediately took his steps inside the house to look for Aleea's whereabouts.

Nathan dashed toward Aleea's room and knocked on the door several times until Aleea opened the door.

"Nathan, are you home?"

"I came home early because I was worried about you, you're really okay, aren't you?" nathan responded by holding onto Aleea's shoulders.

Aleea simply smiled and carried herself around hugging Nathan.

"I'm fine" said Aleea, who hugged Nathan even tighter.

"Nobody's been seeing you, right? no stranger asked you anything?" ask Nathan.

"Nothing, I just went to cooking class, met up with my friends in cooking class and went home and stayed indoors as you told me to," aelea answered, still leaning her head against Nathan's chest.

Nathan then held onto Aleea's shoulders, letting go of Aleea's embrace and looking into Aleea's two eyes.

Aleea simply nodded her head with a smile without saying anything, Nathan's concern and concern for her really made Aleea happy to the point of not being able to hide her smile.

"Why did you just smile at Aleea? aren't you afraid that someone might mean something to you?" ask Nathan.

"I don't think about it at all, I'm just happy and happy because you care about me" Aleea replied with a smile.

"Of course I care about you, you are my wife and I love you" Nathan said, bringing Aleea into his arms.

"I care about you because I don't want someone from your past to ruin my plans Aleea" Nathan said.

Elsewhere, Evan had already arrived at the car rental place where the car used to follow Aleea was rented out.

"What's wrong with that car? why are there so many people looking for that car today?" ask the car rental owner when Evan asks about the car that follows Aleea.

"It seems very difficult to answer who rented the car, is it because someone has given you enough money?" reply Evan.

"He rented my car, of course he gave me a lot of money and I can't tell you about who the tenant of the car was because it was one of my obligations to keep his identity a secret," said the car owner.

"Okay, but maybe this will change your decision!" evan said as he threw a map on the table in front of him.

"What's this?" ask the car rental owner while opening the map in front of him.

"What the fuck? this must be fake, are you threatening me with this fake file?" ask the car rental owner by raising his voice.

"Why do you suddenly look emotional? are you afraid that I might leak your secret?" evan replied with a faint smile.

"No, I'm not afraid at all, it's fake and I'm sure no one will believe it!" said the car rental owner.

"Well, let's just prove what's written on the file is fake or not, the only way to prove it is to show it to the DGT, Directorate General of Taxes!" evan said, emphasizing his last sentence.

Instantly the look on the rental owner's face looked panicked, but he just kept quiet without saying anything.

Evan then took the file away, but only a few steps the car rental owner immediately held Evan.

"Alright I'll say it" he said, which made Evan smile thinly.

"But please don't interfere in my car rental business, I'll tell you whatever you want as long as you promise not to discuss the tax issue again!" said the car rental owner.

"All right, now tell me who rented that car!" said Evan.

"Wait a minute, I'll check it out and give you all the data" the rental car owner replied and immediately checked his computer and showed Evan the car renter's data.

"Okay, thanks for the cooperation" said Evan then left the place.

Evan then asks someone to find out all about the two people who rented the car.

Time passed, the clock was already showing at 10pm when Evan's manhunt told him about the two people who had been following Aleea since morning.

From his man, Evan was informed that the two men were men who worked under Hanna Kalandra, Nathan's mother.

Evan is shocked and soon contacts Nathan to tell Nathan about it.

"Mama? why would you ask someone to follow Aleea?" nathan asked in surprise after he heard Evan's explanation.

"Is this maybe something to do with me?" evan asked back.

"What do you mean?" nathan didn't understand.

"As you know, just these days Aunt Hanna saw me with Aleea, Aunt Hanna also thought that if I was close to Aleea, maybe Aunt Hanna would suspect that Aleea was in contact with me behind your back, too," obviously Evan.

"So Mama had someone follow Aleea to confirm her suspicions?"

"Yes, that's what I'm thinking right now" Evan replied.

"God.... Mama's so overrated, is it possible that she also asked someone to follow you?"

"Looks not, I didn't feel like anyone was following me" Evan replied.

"Good then, at least I'm relieved that it turns out that the person who followed Aleea was not someone who knew her" Nathan said.

"Well then, make sure everything is okay, I don't want my relationship with your family to be awkward because of this" Evan said.

The call ended, Nathan finally able to close his eyes calmly because it turned out that what he was afraid of did not happen.

The day had changed, that morning Nathan deliberately invited Aleea to his parents' house. While Aleea was with Rania, Nathan used his time to chat with her.

"Nathan knew what you were doing secretly and Nathan was very disappointed with what you did!" nathan said to Hanna.

"What do you mean Nathan? mama doesn't understand!" reply Hanna who pretended not to understand Nathan's intentions.

"Nathan knows that if you tell people to follow Aleea, why ma? is it because mama suspects Aleea and Evan's relationship?"

Hanna was silent for a while. He did not expect that what he did was known to Nathan even though Nathan did not know Hanna's true purpose.

"Why ma? why did mom do that? Nathan trusts Aleea completely ma, he can't possibly relate to Evan and Evan nor can he possibly have a relationship with his best friend's wife!"

"Mama just wants to make sure what you don't know, Nathan, mama....."

"What you've done has gone too far, Aleea must be very sad if she knows what you've done to her!" nathan cut off the words of his mother.

"Nathan married Aleea because Nathan believed Aleea was the best girl for Nathan, if you don't trust Aleea, don't you trust Nathan?" continued Nathan.

"I'm sorry Nathan's mom" said Hanna, who had lost her word.

Seeing Nathan's visibly emotional appearance, Hanna scolds Nathan about his true purpose of asking someone to follow Aleea.
