Caring for Evan

Realizing Evan was not doing well, Alee helped Evan in after the door opened.

Aleea then sat Evan on the sofa and took a glass and filled it with drinking water and gave it to Evan.

"Thank you Aleea," Evan said in a weak-sounding voice.

"You have Evan's fever, you have to go to the hospital!" aelea.

"No Aleea, no need," replied Evan.

"But your body is so hot, Evan, you...."

"I hate Aleea's hospital, I don't like being in the hospital" Evan said.

"Well then, where's your P3K box? at least you should take medicine to bring down your fever!"

Evan then pointed at the shelf in the corner of his apartment, Aleeapun walked towards the shelf and then took the P3K box.

"Do you feel dizzy too?" asked Aleea who was reciprocated by a nod of the head by Evan.

"You're definitely not eating dinner yet, I'll order food before you take the medicine" Aleea said.

"What did you bring Aleea?" evan asked while pointing at a paper bag on the table.

"That's aaaahh, that's the cake and bread that I made today with Tika, I came here because I wanted to give it to you" Aleea replied.

"I'm going to eat that cake, so you don't have to order any more food" Evan said.

"Are you sure?" aelea asked to make sure that only a nod of the head was answered by Evan.

Aleea then took out the entire contents of the paper bag she was carrying and gave some bread to Evan.

"You made it yourself Aleea?" ask Evan.

"I made it with Tika, today Tika and I did our first promotion near the shophouse by giving tester the cake and bread we made while spreading the brochure" explained Aleea.

"Is everything going well?" ask Evan.

"Yes, although it is very tiring but me and Tika are very happy to do all this," Aleea replied with a smile.

Aleea then took a fever-reducing medicine and gave it to Evan with a glass of water.

"What about you Evan? you must be so busy that you get sick like this" asked Aleea.

"I'm in charge of Aleea's tomorrow event, so there's a lot I have to prepare for and make sure everything is ready so that no mistakes happen on Day H" Evan explained.

"Are you going to work tomorrow?" ask Aelea.

"Of course, because I'm in charge of it," Evan replied as he turned his head against the back of the sofa.

"Can't you take Evan off? you're not doing well right now" asked Aleea.

"Can't be Aleea, I can't trust anyone to replace me" Evan replied.

"But Nathan wouldn't like it if he saw you like this, Evan!" aelea.

"She won't know if you don't tell her" Evan replied with a smile.

"But you'll meet at the office and I'm sure Nathan won't let you work tomorrow!" aelea was sure.

"Me and Nathan are working in different places tomorrow, so chances are we won't see each other from morning until night" Evan replies.

Aleea let out a long sigh then sat down next to Evan.

"Lay down" Aleea said, patting her on the shoulder.

With a full smile Evan laid his head on Aleea's shoulder. Evan closed his eyes and forgot for a moment the complexity of his work at that time.

"I know you're very responsible for Evan's work, but you also have to take care of your health!" aelea.

"I see," Evan replied with both eyes still closed.

Minutes passed, either because of the effects of the drug he had just taken or because he was exhausted, Evan finally fell asleep on Aleea's shoulder.

"Evan, are you asleep?" aelea asked quietly and did not get any answers from Evan.

Aleea smiled then slowly shifted her sitting position while holding Evan's head and laid him on the sofa.

Aleea lifted Evan's legs slowly after Aleea took off Evan's shoes. Aleea then walked into Evan's room, picked up a blanket and covered Evan's body with a blanket.

"Take care of your health, Evan" Aleea whispered and walked out of Evan's apartment.

Aleea then ordered a taxi that drove her home. After some time on the way, Alee reached home.

Aleea walked inside the house regardless of Nathan sitting in the living room.

"Where have you been Aleea?" nathan asked Aleea who had just entered the house.

"It's none of your business" Aleea replied without stopping her steps.

Nathan got up from his seat, walked quickly towards Aleea and grabbed Aleea's hand.

"My answer is Aleea!" nathan said, clutching Aleea's hand.

"Are you going to slap me again if I don't answer?" aelea asked with both eyes of Nathan.

"I wouldn't hesitate to do it if you upset me" Nathan replied with a firm grip on Aleea's hand.

"Just do it, I don't care!" aelea replied without the slightest bowing her gaze.

"You always manage to piss me off, Aleea, you....."

"What about you, Nathan? do you think I'm not angry with your attitude like this? you treated me so badly after you convinced me about how our past relationship was, everything was clearly inversely proportional to what you said Nathan used to be!" aelea said, cutting Nathan's words.

"Everything changed because of your own fault Aleea, none of this would have happened if you hadn't harmed Evan!" nathan's unwitting reply began to loosen his grip on Aleea.

"Aren't you able to see how Evan is doing now? he's fine, he's living his days as well as ever, it's all just your excuse Nathan, you're making me guilty so you have a reason to show your true nature!" aelea.

"Remember Nathan, you haven't loved me since then and from then on I convinced myself to forget you, forget a relationship I don't even remember!" aelea continued as she pulled her hand from Nathan swiftly and then ran up the stairs, leaving Nathan.

Nathan simply stayed in place, staring at Aleea who had already run away leaving him. On the other hand, Aleea walked into her room holding onto her wrists which were hurting from Nathan's clutches.

"Hold Aleea, once she's satisfied playing around with me, she'll get tired and let go of me!" aelea said with a deep breath and exhaled slowly with her two teary-looking eyes.

Aleea then took her steps into the bathroom, flushing her body with cold shower water for a while until her body began to shiver.

After drenching herself to shivering, Aleea came out of the bathroom, put on her nightgown and began to lay herself on her bed.

"What really makes me love Nathan so much?" inner Aleea asked inwardly as she stared at the ceiling of her room until she fell asleep.

Days change. Early in the morning Aleea prepared to get out of the house, not to go to the shophouse, but to go to Evan's apartment.

Aleea deliberately went to Evan's apartment to see the state of Evan before Evan left for the office, as well as bringing food that he had cooked since early in the morning.

Arriving at Evan's apartment, Aleea immediately rang the bell in the hope that Evan had not yet left for the office.

Shortly after the door was opened, Evan was seen standing wearing a shirt whose buttons had not been neatly attached and a tie that still hung around his neck.

"Aleea, comein!" evan invited Aleea in.

"Of course, who else is loyal to take me if not the taxi driver hehe.." replied Aleea as he put his bag on the table.

"You should wake me up Aleea, it must be hard to get a taxi at such an hour" Evan said.

"It's not hard, I just need to wait," Aleea replied as she pulled out the contents of her bag and placed it lined up on the table.

"How are you doing? is it better?" aelea asked as she touched Evan's forehead with her palm.

"Thank you for taking care of me last night" replied Evan.

"Now you have to have breakfast before you go to the office" Aleea said, helping to tidy up Evan's tie while Evan was tidying up his shirt buttons.

Instantly Evan was silent, he and Aleea stood a very close distance back then, what else as Aleea tidied up the back of Evan's shirt, he said, Aleea tiptoed until Evan could feel Aleea's breath blowing around his neck.

"Today you'll be very busy, don't forget to take vitamins!" aelea said as she tightened Evan's tie.

Evan just nodded his head slowly without saying anything, he was trying hard to be able to control his nervousness at that time.

"Let's eat it, I'll cook it myself especially for you!" aelea said as she opened the food box on the table.

Evan nodded his head then took himself to sit down and enjoy the food Aleea made.

"You should also eat Aleea!" said Evan.

"I can eat later" Aleea replied.

"Do I have to bribe you?" asked Evan who was immediately replied to by Aleea.

Aleea then ran to the kitchen to pick up a spoon and ate with Evan.

They enjoyed breakfast together while talking about a few things.

"Tika and I have set a date for the opening" Aleea told Evan.

"really? when?" ask Evan.

"A few more days, you don't have to come if you're still busy with your work Evan" Aleea replied.

"I will definitely take my time Aleea" Evan said.

"Don't push yourself too hard, Evan, you have to take care of your health!" aelea.

"You too" replied Evan.

Aleea simply nodded her head with a smile. After finishing the food Aleea brought, Evan and Aleea then washed it together.

"Where are you going after this? go home or to the shophouse?" ask Evan.

"I have to go to the shophouse, Tika must have been waiting for me there" Aleea replied.

"All right, I'll take you, '" said Evan.

"There's no need for Evan, don't you have to go to the office right away?"

"The road to shophouses and offices in the direction of Aleea, after all, consider this as a form of thanks for cooking for me today" said Evan.

"Okay, you're making me more frugal then hehe.." replied Aleea chuckling which made Evan smile.

While drying his hands, Evan only realized that Aleea's wrists looked bruised at that time.

"What else did Nathan do to you Aleea?" evan asked staring at the bruises on Aleea's wrist.

Aleea simply shook his head with a smile while wearing his outer long sleeves which he had taken off before eating.

While Evan let out a long sigh then held onto Aleea's shoulders and made Aleea face him.

"Remember Aleea, you must tell me that Nathan has done something beyond your limits!" evan said, looking into Aleea's eyes.

"Just calm down, I can definitely defend myself in front of Nathan" Aleea replied.

Evan just kept quiet, looking at Aleea with sadness.

"Don't worry about me too much Evan, I'm fine, Nathan can't hurt me because he still needs me, for what!" aelea said with a bland smile.

"Patience Aleea, everything will be fine" said Evan who was only met with a nod of the head and a smile by Aleea.

"Hurry to get ready, we must leave before you're too late!" aelea said as she removed both of Evan's hands from her shoulders.

"All right, wait a minute!" evan then went back to his room.

After she finished preparing herself, Evan and Alee left the apartment. Evan escorts Aleea away to the shophouse before she leaves for the office.

"Please promise me Aleea, you'll have to tell me that Nathan has started doing something that hurt you!" evan told Aleea as they were already on their way to the shophouse.

Aleea simply nodded her head with a smile without saying anything.

After some time on the way, Evan stopped his car in front of a two-story shophouse that still seemed to be sealed shut.

"It looks like Tika hasn't come yet, I'll be with you waiting for her here" Evan said.

"No need for Evan, you have to go to the office, besides I have a spare key, I will go in and clean up while waiting for Tika," Aleea replied.

"Are you sure?" asked Evan who was reciprocated by a nod of the head by Aleea.

"All right, I'm going to the office right now" Evan said.

"Thank you for driving me to Evan, be careful on the road" Aleea said, exiting Evan's car.

Evan then drove his car away, while Aleea immediately opened the frame.

"I forgot, the bag was left in Evan's car!" said Aleea by bringing his eyes on Evan's car that had come out of the shop area.

After some time on the way, Evanpun arrived at the office. When he had just parked his car in the basement, Evan saw Aleea's bag of supplies left behind on the back bench.

Evan then picked it up and placed it on the chair beside him.

"He left an excuse so I could meet him" Evan said with a smile.

Suddenly someone knocked on Evan's car door, making Evan so surprised.

"Rania, why are you here?" evan asked after he lowered his car.

"Will brother not come out?" rania asked with a smile.

Evan smiled faintly and then closed his car door and got out of his car.

"Why are you here so early in the morning Rania?" ask Evan.

"Rania is here to help sister" replied Rania.

"Help what?" ask Evan.

"Look at it later," Rania replied with a smile.

"Aaahh yes, which big brother's bag? didn't you just bring a bag?" asked Rania who a while ago saw Evan carrying a bag of provisions in his car.

Evan was silent for a while, trying to think of an answer so as not to make Rania misunderstand.
