Love Without Memory
Nathan's Concerns

The day has changed. That morning Aleea woke up late. The clock had already shown at 8am when Aleea had just opened her eyes.

Aleea lazily grabbed her phone that was on the table and instantly Aleea widened her eyes as she looked at the clock that was already showing at 8.

Aleea immediately got out of bed and took a shower and got ready to go to the shophouse. Not to forget, Aleea ordered a taxi before he got out of the house.

Aleea also sent a message to Tika, apologizing for her late arrival that day.

Shortly thereafter, the taxi Alee ordered arrived. Aleea immediately got out of the house and took a taxi that took her to the shophouse.

Arriving at the shophouse, there was already Tika who was tidying up some new items coming.

"Waaahh the cake box has arrived!" aelea was happy.

"Where do we put all this Aleea?" ask Tika to Aleea.

"We can put it here, we can put the rest on top" Aleea replied.

"Alright," said Tika then raised some items to the second floor.

"How was your vacation Aleea? it seemed so nice until you woke up late this morning!" tika asked when she was back down.

"Absolutely not going well," Aleea replied with a sigh.

"really? why?" ask Tika.

"On the first day my legs sprained and it hurt so much, on the second day on the way home the car I was riding in almost got hit by another car from the front" Aleea explained.

"Waaahh, that means you have to repeat your vacation again Aleea!" said Tika.

"No Tika, just yesterday's vacation makes me lazy to go on vacation again and besides I also have to focus on our cake shop when we have opened it later" Aleea replied.

"Don't be too draining of your energy to work Aleea, you should also please yourself by going on vacation!" said Tika.

"For now I just want to spend my time working with Tika," Aleea replied.

Time passed, it was time for Aleea and Tika to go to their cooking class. They left together using Tika's car.

While long on the way, there was traffic jam engineering done that morning.

Tika cursed in annoyance at that, whereas Aleea only fell silent as her ears heard the earthy and boisterous sound of the anger of the people stuck in traffic back then.

His memory again reviews the accident that happened to him that made him lose his memory. Yet again all the sounds and visuals in his memory were blurry and vague.

Aleea who tried to dig her memory further, actually made her head feel dizzy at that time.

"What's Aleea? are you sick?" tika asked who saw Aleea holding her head with a face that looked in pain.

"I'm fine" Aleea replied as she tried to calm herself down to stop thinking about it.

"Shall I take you home with Aleea?" tanya Tika was worried.

"No Tika, I'm just a little dizzy and it's not a big deal, don't worry," Aleea replied.

"Are you sure?" ask Tika.

Aleea nodded her head with a smile at Tika who seemed to be worrying about her back then.

On the other hand, Nathan and Evan were in the meeting room. There were a lot of things that they talked about in the meeting that day. After the meeting was over, everyone in the room came out one by one, leaving Nathan, Evan and Vina still there.

Vina then moved from her seat and approached Nathan.

"Looks like you had a good time on your vacation yesterday!" vina told Nathan.

"So your attitude is Vina, do you want what happened yesterday to happen again?" reply Nathan.

"Didn't you finish it!" vina.

"Meeting is done Vina, come out!" sahut Evan who made Vina snort annoyed.

"You yourself why don't you go out?" ask Evan.

"Do I have to explain why to you?" evan asked back.

Vina smiled faintly and then brought her gaze to Nathan.

"I'm waiting in your room!" vina said with one wink to Nathan and walked out of the meeting room.

"That kind of girl you're likening Aleea to, Nathan? doesn't it really look like their differences?" evan asked Nathan as Vina walked out.

"There's no need to discuss it, there's one thing that's been bothering me a little since yesterday!" said Nathan.

"About what?" ask Evan.

"Aleea, do you think her memory will return completely someday?" reply Nathan.

"It's not possible that it will happen Nathan, what's more now that he's starting to remember the accident," Evan replied.

"But why are you thinking about that? didn't you ever tell me you didn't care about it? even if Aleea's memories really did return completely!" continued Evan.

"I didn't expect that it would happen this fast Evan, I didn't care if his memory came back, but what about the contract he signed? what if he realized that it was a fake contract that was completely worthless!" reply Nathan.

"That's when you should be ready to let go" Evan said.

"I can release it whenever I want if I don't need it anymore, Evan, but right now and in the near future, I still need it, if it's not for the faults outside the island, I must have gotten what I wanted by now and I will definitely throw Aleea out of my life!" said Nathan.

"Aleea's love is like a time bomb to us Nathan, we never know when his memory will come back fully and when he will realize all our lies, if it had happened that's when the time bomb would have exploded and it could have destroyed us" Evan said.

"No. I won't let it destroy me" Nathan replied.

"If it wasn't you, then I would be devastated" Evan said.

"No Evan, nothing will break between us, I will think about what I have to do before something bad happens" Nathan said.

"Whatever happens I have to get what I've been trying to do before Aleea's memory comes back and destroys everything" Nathan said in his heart.

What Evan said was true, Aleea's memory was like a time bomb to Nathan. The moment Aleea's memories had returned, that was when all of their lies would be revealed.

Nathan doesn't care how Aleea reacts, all he cares about is his plan that will fail if Aleea really gets away from him before he gets what he wants.

For Nathan, nothing is more important than his own will.
