After some time on the way, Nathan and Alee reached their destination.

They got out of the car and walked together to the hotel ballroom, where mom and dad Nathan were celebrating their wedding anniversary.

Before entering the hotel ballroom, Nathan grabs Aleea's hand, intending to hold her, but Aleea quickly pulls her hand.

"Just for now Aleea, do you want to make everyone suspicious?" nathan said as he asked in a whisper.

Aleea simply kept silent with her sighing annoyed. There was no other choice, Aleea let Nathan clasp his hand back then.

Hand in hand, Aleea and Nathanpun entered the ballroom where there were already many guests coming.

Nathan's parents have always done the same to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They invite their friends and business associates to celebrate their happy day.

Nathan's parents, who were aware of Aleea and Nathan's arrival, immediately took their steps to welcome Aleea and Nathan.

They took turns hugging before Aleea gave her gifts to mama and papa Nathan.

"Thank you very much Aleea, I hope your marriage can last like mom and dad" Hanna said as she received a gift from Aleea.

"No. no. I hope your marriage is much better than the marriage of mama and papa," said Aryan who only replied with a smile by Aleea and Nathan.

"Sir Aelea!" call Rania while waving her hand at Aleea.

Aleea simply smiled as she returned a wave of Rania's hand.

"Take your attitude Rania, don't embarrass me!" hanna whispered to Rania.

"Hehe.. forgive Rania ma," Rania replied and hugged Aleea and Nathan alternately.

"Sir Aleea is so beautiful, Nathan must be falling more and more in love with Aleea now," said Rania praising Aleea's beauty.

"You are also very beautiful Rania," Aleea replied.

"Take it honestly, brother, who is the most beautiful here? aelea or Rania?" rania asked Nathan.

"What is Rania!" sahut Aryan's.

"The most beautiful mama here" said Nathan who made the mama blush.

"Yes, because this is a mama and papa event, so only the most beautiful mama here and papa the most handsome here," said Aryan followed by a small laugh Rania.

"Just for today, because for the next time nothing compares to Nathan's good looks!" reply Nathan.

"Are you sure?" someone asked who made everyone there turn to the source of the sound.

"Don't forget I'm more handsome than you, Nathan!" evan continued with a smile while bringing his steps closer.

"Right, Evan's most handsome brother after papa," replied Rania who immediately approached Evan and hugged him.

Evan is quite surprised by what Rania does, but he tries to return Rania's embrace briefly so as not to offend Rania.

"You've always been like that, Rania, take care of your attitude!" hanna.

"What's wrong ma? from the first Rania and Evan's brother did like this, even Evan's brother likes to hold Rania when Rania cries," replied Rania.

"That was Rania, now that you've grown up, you should be able to keep your attitude!" hanna.

"I'm sorry about Rania's attitude, Evan!" aryan told Evan.

"It doesn't matter, auntie, for Evan, Rania is like Evan's own sister" Evan replies with a smile on Rania.

"Aaahh yes, this is for om and aunt, may God always bless the marriage om and aunt," continued Evan while giving his gift to Hanna.

"Thank you, Evan" said Hanna, who was only greeted with a smile by Evan.

"Come, sister, we're looking for a sweet cake here!" rania said as she pulled Evan's hand away from Aleea, Nathan and his parents.

Evan just resigned to follow the steps of Rania who took him towards a row of cakes and cookies lined up.

"Try this one, brother, it's so delicious, it's better than the others!" said Rania while giving one piece of cake to Evan.

"Have you tried everything?" evan asked while trying the cake that Rania gave him.

"Already, from the end there to the end there, Rania has tried everything" replied Rania.

"Are you not afraid of having your teeth hollow if you eat too much sweet food?" ask Evan.

"Geez kaakk..... Rania is not a child anymore, stop considering Rania a child," said Rania upset.

"Hahaha, for me you're still Rania, my little sister," Evan said, pinching Rania's nose.

"Sister Evan sucks" said Rania, annoyed and walked away from Evan.

While Evan only smiled faintly at Rania's attitude. As he was circulating his gaze, both his eyes were fixed on Aleea who was chatting with mama and papa Nathan.

"It's so pretty" said Evan in his heart, admiring the beauty of Aleea, his best friend's wife.

Suddenly Aleea who was chatting brought her gaze towards Evan and found Evan who was looking towards him.

Aleeapun gave his smile to Evan who was immediately replied to a smile by Evan.

"Nathan is completely blind if he is not aware of Aleea's beauty" Evan said inwardly with a smile still on his lips.

"Yurmurk!" call Rania over while patting Evan on the shoulder, making Evan immediately take his eyes off Aleea.

"Stop smiling like that, Rania doesn't want any woman to tease Evan!" rania said while holding Evan's hand.

"Don't be like this Rania, you...."

"Why? isn't Rania Evan's little sister?" rania asked, cutting off Evan's words.

"Rania!" call Hanna by giving a sharp look to Rania.

Instantly Rania sighed in annoyance and then released Evan's hand from her arms.

"So your attitude if you don't want to ruin your mama's happy moment!" evan tells Rania and walks away, but Rania follows Evan.

Because Evan met with Nathan's client and talked about business matters, Raniaun chose to leave because he had never been interested in such a conversation.

On the other hand, Aleea was accompanying Nathan who was chatting with some of the papa's business associates.

As the figure of a good wife, Aleea should always accompany Nathan, as Hanna did with Aryan. At least that's what Aleea used to do so that no one would know how her marriage to Nathan really was.

Aleea was also willing to pretend and obey Nathan's will because Aleea didn't want anything bad to happen to him and Nathan involved Evan, as Nathan had told him.

For Aleea, Evan was her guardian angel, he couldn't possibly intentionally let Evan get into trouble because of it.

So far, only Evan has believed, only Evan can truly accompany him when no one cares about him, even someone he once believed loved him.

That was what made Aleea feel that Evan was her guardian angel.

Time passed, mom and dad Nathan were busy with their guests. Nathan is still chatting with his papa co-worker who knows him well.

Aleea then took her step towards the toilet and accidentally tripped over a long cable that made her almost fall.

Yet someone swiftly restrained Aleea and again helped Aleea to stand up straight.

"Evan, thank you, Evan" said Aleea who was surprised by what had just happened.

"Please watch your step Aleea" replied Evan.

Aleea simply nodded her head then continued her steps towards the toilet. Before going into the toilet, Aleea removed the high heels she was wearing and realized that her heels were injured at the time.

"It should be very painful, I'm not used to wearing shoes like this!" aelea said, taking her step into the toilet by pinching her shoes.

Without Aleea knowing, Evan looked at it silently.

After feeling enough to rest her legs, Aleea then came out of the toilet using high heels that were actually uncomfortable she was wearing at the time.

Aleea tried to keep up her pace by enduring the pain in both of her legs. He doesn't want what happened to him to cause problems that ruin Nathan's parents' happy moments.

Evan, who had been waiting for Aleea for a while, immediately walked over to Aleea, grabbed Aleea's hand and took her to a seat.

Evan then squatted under Aleea and intended to take off the high heels that Aleea was wearing.

"What are you doing, Evan?" aelea asked in a whisper, worried that it would make others misunderstand.

"Your leg hurt Aleea, I just want to stick the plaster so that the wound doesn't get worse," Evan replied with a gouge of his head staring at Aleea.

"But....."

"Just for a second, take off your shoes!" evan interrupted Aleea's words.

According to Alee, he pulled his foot from the high heels he was wearing and let Evan stick the plaster on the wound on his leg.

Evan then helped Aleea put her shoes back on and grabbed Aleea's hands to stand up.

"Hows it? is it better?" evan asked watching Aleea's two legs.

"Yes, thank you Evan," replied Aleea who felt her pain was alleviated after Evan gave her the plaster.

"Good then, come here Aleea, you must try this cake!" evan said as he carried his steps towards the row of cakes.

Alee follows Evan and picks up a piece of cake that Evan recommends to him.

"Waaahhh is delicious, there is a sweet chocolate taste and fresh taste in it" Aleea said.

"It's because of the filling of strawberries in it that makes the taste more complex, sweet from chocolate and fresh from strawberries into one in one bite," explained Evan.

"You're right" Aleea said with a nod of her head.

"It looks like you're very close to Rania, Evan!" Aelea.

"Because I was close friends with Nathan, I became close to his family, papa's mom and his sister" Evan replied.

"He looks very spoiled to you" Aleea said.

"She was like that a long time ago, I've thought of her like my own sister" Evan replied.

Aleea and Evan then tried some cookies. They also talked about many things and occasionally chuckled because of their light jokes.

"Stop making Evan jokes, my stomach hurts from holding back from laughing!" aelea said with an attempt to hold back her laughter.

"So your attitude or Aunt Hanna will rebuke you like Rania was hehe.." replied Evan.

"I'll blame you if mama scolds me!" aelea.

They then laughed a little because they did not want to attract the attention of the people there.

On the other hand, since a while ago Hanna had been watching Aleea and Evan. Hanna then tells Nathan and asks Nathan to call Aleea.

"Let me, they're just chatting" Nathan told his mother.

"Didn't you see them very close to Nathan? they even laughed there!"

"There is nothing superfluous between Aleea and Evan ma, just like mom and dad's other friends, isn't mommy close to you too?" reply Nathan.

"You're thinking too positively about Nathan, what if....."

"Have......don't argue here!" aryan mediates the debate between his wife and son.

Aryan then took his steps towards Evan and Aleea.

"Papa has seen the gift from you Aleea, thank you for giving papa a good watch" Aryan told Aleea.

"Aleea doesn't really understand papa's preferences, so hopefully the watch will suit what you like" Aleea replied.

"Papa likes it Aleea, you're good at choosing it" Aryan said.

On the other hand, Hanna just stood up with an annoyed grunt when she saw the husband who was actually chatting with Evan and Aleea.

"Mom see for themselves, no, they were seen chatting casually, it's because there is no relationship between the two of them" Nathan told the mother.

Nadine just kept quiet without saying anything, for some reason she felt that there was something between Aleea and Evan.

Time passed, the pickle was done. One by one, Nathan's mom and dad left the ballroom and the last to leave was Nathan after his parents went home.

Nathan then gets in his car with Aleea. But shortly after Nathan drives, Nathan suddenly pulls over his car.

"Come down!" nathan said to Aleea.

"Down? why?" aelea asked not to understand.

"I have to go and can't take you home, so get off and go home in a taxi!" nathan explained.

"Are you serious? what if there's a guest mom and dad who saw you drop me off here? our charade will be free and....."

"Do I have to drag you out of my car?" nathan asked cutting Aleea's words without even turning to Aleea.

"You're really crazy!" aelea said then got out of Nathan's car and without waiting for long Nathan immediately stuck the gas away leaving Aleea just like that.

Aleea only sighed in annoyance staring at Nathan's departure. While waiting for a taxi, suddenly a car stopped in front of him and the owner of the car immediately came out and approached Aleea.

"What are you doing here, Aleea? are you waiting for Nathan?" ask Evan to Aleea.

"No, she left me here," Aleea replied without being able to hide her irritation.

"Come in, I'll take you!" evan said as he opened his car door for Aleea.

Aleeapun entered and Evan immediately drove his car away, driving Aleea home.

Without Evan and Aleea knowing, Rania saw the incident.

"Why did Brother Aleea go with Evan's brother? does Nathan's brother know about it?" rania asked herself.
