Hearing what Evan said did indeed make Nathan quite surprised, but he chose not to care and was not affected by what Evan said about Aleea.

"He was a fool and I didn't care" Nathan said, exiting Evan's room.

Evan only let out a long sigh looking at Nathan's attitude. He did not expect that Nathan would actually show his true nature to Aleea who was still his wife.

As best friend and only person who knows what really happened between Nathan and Aleea, Evan knows that Nathan will not let go of Aleea easily even though Nathan does not love Aleea.

Disappointing the father once was enough for Nathan, so there was no way Nathan would suddenly divorce Aleea which would certainly disappoint his mother and father. At least that's what Evan thought at the time.

Evan's phone rang, a message came in from Aleea.

"Call me if you're not busy."

Evan then contacted Aleea and Aleeapun quickly received his call.

"Hello Aleea, what's wrong?" ask Evan after his call is received.

"There's something I want to talk to you about, Evan, can we meet today?" reply Aleea.

"Well, I'm going to your house after work" Evan said.

"No Evan, don't come here, we'd better meet outside" Aleea said.

"Why?" evan asked with a frown.

"I want to talk about something that no one else should hear, so you better decide where we can meet, I'll go there" Aleea explained.

"Can't Nathan find out about our meeting?" ask Evan.

"You can tell her if she asks you a question, but about what we'll talk about later, only you and I can know, I hope you understand what I mean" Aleea replied.

"Alright I understand, I'll call you later" Evan said.

After the call ended, Evan guessed about what Aleea wanted to talk to him about.

"Will he talk about his relationship with Nathan?" inner Evan asked inwardly.

"Let's go, hopefully nothing bad will happen" Evan said, looking at the watch on his left hand.

"There's still time for lunch" Evan said, moving out of his seat and out of his room.

Evan walked to the cafeteria and ordered food and drinks. Soon Vina comes along with the food and drink that Evan ordered.

"Are you having a fight with Nathan?" ask Evan.

Evan just kept silent by bringing his gaze to Vina at a glance and enjoying the food.

"Time off outside of work hours, right? do I have to call politely?" asked Vina who was still ignored by Evan.

"Well, did Evan have a fight with Mr Nathan?" tanya Vina repeated her question with more polite words.

But still, Evan did not seem to assume the existence of Vina nearby, making Vina sigh annoyed at Evan's attitude.

"I ask because these days Nathan's attitude is very different, he becomes easier emotional and often careless, a little mistake has made his emotions explode, he said, all this time I saw Nathan's attitude like that only when he fought with you" said Vina.

Evan still enjoyed the meal without saying anything. Although he seemed to ignore Vina, Evan actually listened to what Vina said at that time.

"If you guys aren't fighting, is it possible that he's having trouble with Aleea? are they fighting and getting divorced?" continued Vina who made Evan immediately bring his gaze to Vina with a sharp gaze

"I'm just kidding" said Vina smiling as she patted Evan on the shoulder and moved from her seat.

"But that's what I expected hehe." said Vina then walked away from Evan.

"Crazy woman!" evan said slowly and then sipped his drink and left the cafeteria.

Time passed, the clock has shown more than 4 pm. Evan tidied up the file he had just been working on and took it to Nathan's room.

"This is the file you asked for, is there anything I should do again?" evan asked at once.

"Nothing" replied Nathan.

"All right," said Evan, then out of Nathan's room.

Evan tidied up his desk and sent Aleea a message, giving the address of the cafe where they would meet.

Evan then leaves his room, exits the office and drives his car towards the cafe.

After some time on the way, Evan arrived at his destination cafe. Before long it was seen Aleea entering the cafe, Evan who saw her immediately waved his hand at Aleea.

Aleea who saw Evanpun's whereabouts immediately took her steps towards Evan's desk with a smile.

Evan then called the waiters and ordered the snacks and drinks that Aleea wanted.

"Is everything okay Aleea?" ask Evan to Aleea.

"I can't say everything's fine, but I think I'm feeling better now" Aleea replied with a smile.

"Yaaaahhh, sometimes we have to force ourselves to be okay in order to move on" said Evan, who was met with a nod of the head by Aleea.

Soon their order came while they were still making small talk.

"Actually I want to meet you because there's something I want to discuss with you Evan" Aleea said.

"Discussion? about what?" ask Evan.

Aleea then told about the seminar in her cooking class and her interest in trying new things that fit with what she learned.

But Aleea said if she hesitated to do so, other than because of her status as Nathan's wife, which could have caused problems, she also had no experience in it.

"I don't think it's a bad thing to try, I'll help whatever you need" Evan said after hearing Aleea's stories.

"Do you think I can live it well Evan?" aelea asked doubtfully.

"Of course, as long as you're confident and try to give your best, if you're worried about your status as Nathan's wife, you'd better build your business with a friend you trust" Evan replied.

"Together friends? I think I know who I can work with" Aleea said.

"If you are sure of your friends, talk about the details of your business, after you agree, you can make a cooperation contract that you will agree on" said Evan.

Aleea was silent for a while, thinking about what Evan told her.

"I will help you as much as I can Aleea, so don't hesitate to ask me for help" Evan said.

"But can you promise to keep this a secret from Nathan, Evan?" ask Aelea.

"Thank you Evan, it's definitely not going to be hard to hide this from Nathan because he doesn't care about me at all!" aelea.

Days passed, every day Aleea talked about her business plan with her friend, Tika.

They have agreed to work together and are conducting many discussions to submit their proposals.

Each of them will get the help of a capital loan that they use to start their business.

But the problem arises when they find the fact that the capital loan they get is not enough to be used as business capital that they have planned.

Aleea and Tika had already been trying to cut spending on some things that they thought were not so important, but that was not helpful enough.

Aleea was very comfortable making friends with Tika because besides her being a good woman, Tika also did not question Aleea's personal life as Nathan's wife.

When they were short on capital, it was completely impossible for Tika's head to get Aleea to ask Nathan for help, even though Tika knew that Nathan would be able to help Aleea.

Tika is even willing to spend his personal money to increase their capital which is still far from enough. As for Aleea, he was not brave enough to use the money Nathan had given him.

Nathan does give Aleea several credit cards and ATMs, each month Nathan will transfer some money to the ATM Aleea brought in that Aleea used to buy his needs.

But after what happened, Aleea did not want the business she had pioneered from 0 to involve Nathan's money. Aleeapun trying to think hard to be able to get a solution of the problem he is facing.

That day, after her cooking class, Aleea went to the cafe with Tika to discuss about their problem.

They were in the cafe for quite a while, until they finally left the cafe at exactly 3 p.m.

While waiting for a taxi in front of the cafe, Aleea called Evan, feeling she had to meet Evan at that time.

"Hello Evan, are you still in the office?" aelea asked after Evan received her call.

"Yes, what's up Aleea? do you want to meet?" reply Evan.

"Yes, I will wait for you in the usual place" Aleea replied.

"Well, I'll be there as soon as my work hours are over" Evan said.

The call ended along with the taxi Aleea was waiting for arrived. Aleea then went to the cafe where he met Evan.

Ever since Aleea returned to live in Nathan's house after he left Evan's apartment, Aleea had indeed met Evan often and certainly without Nathan knowing.

It's not that Evan hid it from Nathan or accidentally met secretly behind Nathan, but it was Nathan himself who never asked that and Evan chose not to tell Nathan before Nathan himself asked.

As for Aleea, he met Evan because many things he asked Evan about the business world were new to him.

From Evan, Aleea learned many things and from Evan also Aleea got meaningful input for him. He accidentally asks to meet outside the house, not to hide from Nathan but because he does not want his plan known to Nathan.

During this time Nathan had no idea what Aleea was doing during Nathan's work, because Nathan didn't care about Aleea at all.

After a long time on the way, Aleeapun arrived at the cafe where he used to meet Evan.

Aleea chose the bench he used to sit on with Evan, a bench in the corner of the room with a glass wall nearby.

Almost 30 minutes of Aleea waiting, he finally saw Evan walking into the cafe.

"Have you been waiting since?" evan asked as he shifted the chair for him to sit down.

"Nearly 30 minutes," Aleea replied with a smile.

"Jeez Aleea, you should have waited at home, you must have been so bored waiting for me here that long!" aelea.

"I just finished discussing with Tika, so I'm all waiting for you here" Aleea replied.

They then ordered food and drinks before Aleea started telling Evan about the problem he was facing.

"How much do you need Aleea?" evan asked without further ado after hearing the story of Aleea who was short of capital to open his business.

"I told you all this to ask Evan for advice, not to borrow your money" Aleea said without answering Evan's question.

"I'm not as rich as Nathan, but I can definitely help Aleea" Evan said, trying to convince Aleea.

"I know you've been very kind to Evan, you've helped me a lot over the years, but it would be a lot of exaggeration if I also received loan money from you!" reply Aleea.

Evan was silent for a while, thinking of other ways he could help Aleea.

"Have you made the proposal?" ask Evan.

"Already, but the capital loan from my cooking class was far from enough and as I said, I couldn't possibly use the money Nathan gave me, I didn't want to owe him, '" Aleea explained.

"Tomorrow we meet here, you can bring your proposal and I'll check it out, I'll be an investor in your business, how?"

Aleea smiled by shaking her head slowly, as if disapproving of Evan's words.

"Why Aelea?" ask Evan.

"Tika and I are just going to make Evan's cake shop, not the company!" reply Aleea.

"But there is no harm is not if there are investors who give capital for your business?"

"It's not wrong, but....."

"Listen to me Aleea, I don't have any advice for you because the only thing that can help with your problems is money, I know you'll refuse if I give it away for free, so your choice is only two, take a loan from me or let me be an investor!" evan interrupted Aleea's words.

"Mmmm... I'll talk to Tika first" Aleea replied.

"Alright, discuss this with him, if you agree, I will prepare the contract" Evan said.

"OK," Aleea replied with a nod of her head.

Aleea and Evan then talked about many things before they finally left the cafe.

"I'll take you home!" said Evan.

"No need for Evan, I'm used to going anywhere by myself now" Aleea replied.

"You've always been like that Aleea" Evan said.

"I'm learning to be more independent Evan, even though in reality I'm still a lot of trouble for you hehe" Aleea replied.

"I don't feel bothered by you at all Aleea, I'm glad that I can help you" Evan said.

They then parted ways in front of the cafe as Aleea got into her booked taxi. Evan drives his car away after the taxi takes Aleea away.

"You should let me help you Aleea, that's all I can do to atone for my guilt," Evan said with a long sigh.
