Nathan and Vina's Journey

One thing that made Vina change her attitude was because of the reprimand of Hanna, Nathan's mother.

Hanna has known Vina for a long time, because Hanna knows that Vina works directly under Nathan and is one of Nathan's trusted employees.

Hanna also finds out how close Nathan and Vina are in the office, which is what makes Hanna finally find out a lot about Vina.

Knowing how Vina's past was and what Vina really looked like, Hanna repeatedly reminded Nathan not to be tempted by Vina.

Hanna even asks Nathan to remove Vina from the office when Hanna realizes how Vina is trying to get close to Nathan, but Nathan always tries to convince her if her relationship with Vina is limited to working partners.

Nathan tells Hanna how Vina's performance has always been satisfactory and that is reason enough to make Nathan keep Vina in the office.

As a normal man, Nathan finds out that Vina likes him. If only the mother liked Vina, it would be Vina who she would make a wife to obey the request of the mother.

Nathan doesn't care if he doesn't love Vina at all, he just needs a woman he can fool just for his own sake.

But it turns out that the mother did not like Vina at all, making Nathan had to think hard to find a woman who was in accordance with the wishes of the mother and ended up meeting Nathan and Aleea.

While Vina who openly showed her love for Nathan did not give up even though she knew that Nathan was married.

Vina also does not care about Nathan's mother who does not seem to like him in the past.

For Vina, keeping her performance well is one thing that can keep her close to Nathan because she knows Nathan will always need her in his job.

But somehow that day Vina suddenly gets a reprimand from Hanna after Hanna sees how Vina talks to Evan who incidentally is her boss in the office.

Not wanting to cause a commotion, Vinapun just silence, relented and improve his attitude in accordance with what Hanna said to him.

In his heart, he still hoped that if the middle-aged woman with a taut face in front of him would someday soften and like him.

Even so, Vina did not really change her attitude, especially on Nathan who did not bother about it at all because at least Vina could put herself well in many different situations.

That day, Vina was very busy with her work because tomorrow she would enjoy her time off for one full day.

The job Evan gave him quickly he finished so that no more work would bother him while he was on vacation with Nathan.

In her heart, Vina was already determined not to waste her time with Nathan. He's gonna try to make Nathan subjugate to him.

The clock was showing at 6pm when Vina had just finished her work and started tidying up her desk.

Eagerly, Vina took her steps towards the elevator, waiting for the elevator that would take her down to the lobby.

When the elevator opens, Vina enters followed by Evan who suddenly enters with her.

"Why are you suddenly on leave, Vina?" ask Evan to Vina.

"That's my right, Mr. Evan, is something wrong?" reply Vina.

"No, it's just..your cut time along with Nathan's departure off the island, you didn't plan anything, did you?"

Vina only smiled faintly by raising her shoulders in front of Evan and then exited when the elevator door was open and left by speeding up her steps because she could not wait to go to the airport immediately.

Elsewhere, Nathan had just left his meeting place with the leader who held the new project there.

Nathan drives his car back to the hotel and does his job, compiling a report he'll hand over to the father.

Biiiippp biiiipp biiiiippp

Nathan's phone rang, a message came in from Aleea.

"Are you busy?"

Nathan lazily replied to Aleea's message.

"I'm working on a report."

Biiiippp biiiipp biiiiippp

Aleea's reply came back in.

"Call me when you're not busy."

Nathan just reads the incoming message from Aleea and refocuses on his work until suddenly a call comes in from Vina.

Nathan, who initially ignores the call, finally starts picking up his phone when he sees an incoming message from Vina saying Vina is already at the airport.

Nathanpun sent a message to Vina.

"Wait there, I'll have someone pick you up!"

Nathan then contacts someone, asking him to pick up Vina and drive Vina to the hotel.

A while later Nathan's phone rings again, a message from Vina comes in.

"I'm at the hotel, where are you? I'm waiting for you in the lobby!"

Nathan only sighed while continuing his busy life to finish his work immediately. He even accidentally deactivated his phone because Vina kept contacting him.

After some time passed, Nathan had finished his work and then moved from his seat to meet Vina in the lobby.

Without guilt, Nathan approaches Vina who has been waiting for Nathan for more than an hour in the lobby.

"Are you so busy you've let me wait here so long?" ask Vina annoyed.

Nathan just smiled as he gave Vina a hotel room access card.

"When you come in and rest, you'll be tired!" nathan said then walked away followed by Vina who walked beside Nathan.

"What are we going to do tomorrow?" ask Vina excitedly.

"Let's know, I haven't thought about it yet" Nathan replied as they were in the elevator.

"Then I will plan everything" said Vina.

"As far as you go" Nathan replied.

TRIIING

When the elevator doors opened, Nathan and Vina exited the elevator and walked down the hall until Nathan stopped in front of one of the rooms.

"Our room is next door, but don't bother me tonight because I have to finish my job" Nathan said.

"Why not just book a room?" vina protest.

"That can't be Vina," Nathan replied and opened his door and entered his room, leaving Vina who was still standing in the hall alone.

Vina just let out her irritated breath then walked into her room and immediately dropped herself on the bed.

"Even though he ordered two rooms, but I'll make him sleep in the same room as me" Vina said with a smile.

On the other hand, Nathan laid his body on the bed while checking his phone and got an incoming message from Aleea.

"Tonight felt so lonely, I had dinner alone and went to my own room."

Nathan smiled and put his phone on the table.

"There's too much!" nathan closed his eyes in his heart.

With laziness Nathan got out of his bed and opened the door of his room and found Vina who was standing in front of his room.

Without warning Vina immediately pushed Nathan and just walked into Nathan's room.

"Hurry to take a shower and change clothes, we have to leave right now!" said Vina who was sitting on the sofa in Nathan's room.

"It's still very early Vina, we have one day here so why go so early in the morning?"

"It's precisely because we only have one day so we have to hurry away, I don't want to waste my time here with you" Vina replied with a smile.

Nathan took a deep breath and went into the bathroom. After Nathan had finished preparing, they left the room and left the hotel.

"Where are we going?" nathan asked Vina when they just got in the car.

"Follow my direction" replied Vina.

Nathanpun drove his car according to Vina's direction, until finally they reached a place with several ships that were seen near the dock.

"What are we gonna do here Vina?" ask Nathan.

"Here you go, come!" vina said without answering Nathan's question and grabbed Nathan's hand and held him, but Nathan quickly withdrew his hand.

Vinapun immediately brought his gaze to Nathan, while Nathan just shook his head slowly which made Vina sighs annoyed.

Vina then walked first towards the dock and boarded the ship with Nathan. After a while on the boat, the ship finally began to approach an island.

Vina and Nathanpun get off the ship.

"Ships will arrive at 1pm, so enjoy your time here before the ship comes!" said one of the crew members to Vina and Nathan.

"What does it mean they'll leave us here?" nathan asked Vina when the ship in front of them was gone.

"Yes, I'm sure no one knows us here, so we're free to do anything here" Vina replied with a smile.

"Free? what do you mean Vina? we're just going on vacation here!"

"Free, like this!" vina said by grabbing Nathan's hand and grasping it tightly and getting tighter as Nathan tried to release his hand from Vina's grasp.

"Let's calm Nathan, we're just holding hands!" vina said with an annoyed look.

Nathan sighed then nodded his head slowly.

"Alright," said Nathan quietly who made Vina excited.

With a smile Vina took Nathan's hand, taking Nathan to one of the food stalls there.

They enjoy their food with views of the lake and forest around them.

After finishing her meal, Vina invites Nathan to take a walk around the lake.

They spend a lot of their time there. Although at first Nathan did not really enjoy his trip with Vina, but in the end he began to enjoy it.

They laugh and have fun freely without worrying that anyone will recognize them.

"We have to get back to the dock!" nathan said after he was satisfied to go around the small island.

"But I still want to be here, can't we just stay here until tomorrow and wait for the boat to pick up tomorrow morning?" vina asked while leaning her head on Nathan's shoulder.

"Can't Vina, we have to go back soon" Nathan replied.

"Even though I beg?" vina asked whispered in Nathan's ear that made Nathan instantly distance himself from Vina, but suddenly....

CUUUPPPPPPP

A kiss landed on Nathan's cheek, leaving Nathan so shocked and quickly out of his seat.

"What are you doing Vina?" nathan asked emotion by rubbing his cheek.

"Just do what I want" Vina answered without hesitation and went up and stood right in front of Nathan.

"You know I like you Nathan, I don't care what your current status is, I just want you!" vina just hugged Nathan.

Nathan soon thrashed and tried to free himself from Vina's embrace.

"Don't be crazy Vina, take care of your attitude!" nathan said then ran away after successfully escaping from Vina's embrace.

"Aaargghhh!" vina grumbled and ran after Nathan.

Somewhere else. Aleea repeatedly contacted Nathan, but never connected.

Without Aleea knowing, Nathan was on a small island with Vina who made Nathan's phone unable to pick up the signal at all.

It was not unusual for Nathan not to reply to Aleea's message or not to receive Aleea's call, but Aleea could still send a message and contact Nathan, unlike back then.

The worried Aleea then contacted Evan, informing Evan of what had happened.

"Let Aleea be calm, maybe he's busy there because he has to finish his work alone" Evan told Aleea.

"But since morning I couldn't reach Evan at all, if he was really busy, he would have replied to me or contacted me when he had finished his busy life, but until now I haven't even been able to reach him!"

"I'll try to find out, now calm yourself down and don't think too far, I'll call you once I get the information!" said Evan.

"But....."

PYAAAAARRR

The sound of a falling object was very loud, making Evan suddenly worry about Aleea because he did not hear Aleea's voice at all after he heard the sound of the falling object.

"Aleea.... What's up with Aleea? are you all right? Aleea.. answered me. Aleea......"

Not getting any answer from Aleea, Evan immediately got up from his seat and left the room.

Evan immediately left the office and drove his car towards Aleea's house at full speed.

Arriving at Aleea's house, the aunt tells Evan that Aleea has just fainted.

"Perhaps because non Aleea has not eaten since last night, even this morning non Aleea also does not want to eat anything," said the aunt to Evan.

"Can Evan see how he is?" ask Evan.

"Please master," replied the aunt as she opened Aleea's room door.

Evanpun went in and found Aleea who was closed in her bed.

"Why did you torture yourself just for Nathan, Aleea? don't you love him too?" inner Evan asked inwardly with his gaze staring at Aleea.

The guilt that Evan felt was getting stifling every time he saw how Aleea was living her life with grief.

Evan can only try to turn things around, giving Aleea happiness that only Nathan can take advantage of.

In his heart he always hoped that one day Aleea would be able to change Nathan's outlook and soften Nathan's cold, icy heart.
