Stay with Evan

After a long wait, Evanpun's car came. Someone who drove Evan's car then left by taxi, while Aleea and Evan went by Evan's car.

"Where are we going now, Evan?" aelea asked as Evan had already driven his car off the beach.

"I'll take you to where I live" replied Evan.

"Wouldn't you just take me to the hotel, Evan?" ask Aelea.

"No Aleea, you better stay at my place for a while" Evan replied.

"But I don't know how long I'm going to stay there Evan, I don't want to bother you too much, you've been so kind to me" Aleea said.

"There's no need to think too much about Aleea, you can stay as long as you want" Evan replied.

"Thank you so much Evan, I don't know what to repay your kindness to you" Aleea said.

"With your happiness Aleea, seeing you happy is enough for me" Evan replied with a smile on Aleea.

Aleea only smiled faintly hearing what Evan told her.

"Happy? can I be happy with everything I am doing right now?" inner Aleea asked inwardly.

After a while on the way, Evan arrived at a tall apartment building in the middle of the city.

Evan parked his car in the basement and got into the elevator with Aleea. Soon the elevator stopped on the 25th floor, where Evan's apartment unit was located.

Evan then pressed his password on the door and opened the door

"Let's go Aleea, come in!" evan told Aleea.

Alee went in with Evan.

"Sit down, I'll change for a while" said Evan, giving Aleea a bottle of drink and then going into her room to change clothes, because the clothes he was wearing back then were completely soaked.

Finished changing clothes, Evan came out of his room and found Aleea standing on the balcony.

Evan then approached Aleea, holding onto Aleea's shoulders and flipping Aleea's body back in.

"Your clothes are wet, you can get sick if you're here" Evan said as he pushed Aleea in.

Evan's apartment bell rang, Evan immediately opened the door of his apartment and received the package he had ordered earlier.

"This is your outfit, I don't know if it's right for you, but at least you can change your wet clothes" Evan said, handing Aleea a package.

"Thank you Evan" Aleea said.

Aleea then went into the bathroom to change clothes then came out and found that there was already plenty of food on the table.

"Do you order all this?" aelea asked as she carried herself to sit before Evan.

"Yes, the hospital food was very boring, so I ordered all of this," Evan replied and then shifted one of them towards Aleea.

"Thank you so much Evan, but I'm not hungry right now" said Aleea, who took a drink and sipped it.

"But you have to keep eating Aleea, I know this is a difficult time for you, but you also have to pay attention to your health" Evan said.

Aleea just silently stared at the many foods before him.

"Well, if you don't want to eat, that means I have to feed you" Evan said, directing his spoonful of food in front of Aleea.

Aleea simply smiled by shaking her head.

"I will eat alone" Aleea said.

"After this rest in the room, you must be very tired!" said Evan.

"What about you?" ask Aelea.

"I can rest in the living room" Evan replied casually.

"You better rest in the room, I can....."

"Nathan may come to Aleea at any time, I'm sure you still don't want to see him, so.... do you still want to rest in the living room?"

Aleea quickly shook her head.

"Well, I'll rest in the room" Aleea said, making Evan smile.

After finishing her meal, Aleea then walked into Evan's room, while Evan brought himself to rest on the sofa.

Just as Evan sat down, the doorbell rang again. Evanpun immediately opened the door and found Nathan who was already standing with a tense look on his face.

"Are you crazy?" nathan asked without further ado.

"Hehe.

"Let's go back to the hospital, you should be in the hospital until the CT scan results come out!" said Nathan.

"No Nathan, I'm so tired of being there alone!" evan's reply refused which immediately brought his steps in followed by Nathan.

"Aren't you used to it yourself? why bored? I'll visit you often too!"

"Stop forcing me Nathan, I'm fine, let's just see how the CT scan results that are a few days away, if there's anything serious about my situation, I will definitely go back to the hospital" Evan said.

"Are you sure you're feeling all right now?" nathan asked to make sure.

"I'm sure Nathan, more than 100 percent," Evan replied without hesitation.

"Alright, but for a while you'll have to take a break until your CT scan results come out!" said Nathan.

"Okay, at least I don't have to be in the hospital every day!" reply Evan agreed.

"Sir Budi called me, telling me that if Aleea left the hospital without Mr Budi, have you met him? is it possible that you left the hospital to look for her?" nathan asked at once.

"Are you starting to care about him now?" evan replies without answering Nathan's question.

"Absolutely not, I don't know where he is now and I don't care" Nathan replied as he leaned against the back of the sofa.

"Aren't you worried about Nathan? he must have been very surprised to hear what you said in the hospital."

"Indeed, he better find out, and then he'll stop bothering me!" reply Nathan.

"You've hurt Nathan, what you've done has made him sad!" said Evan.

"Don't you know if from the beginning....."

"I know," said Evan, cutting off Nathan's words, before Nathan told him his secret because it could be Aleea in the room hearing their conversation.

"He lost his memory Nathan, you're the only one he trusted and he never hesitated to give up his life on you, would you do it like this?" continued Evan.

"I've given Evan a decent life, he can buy whatever he wants with the money I gave him and I think that's more than enough" Nathan said.

"But...."

"Stop talking about Evan, I'm here because I'm worried about you, not about Aleea!" nathan said cutting Evan's speech and then moving from his seat.

Nathan's gaze then turned to the dining table near the kitchen, Nathan saw many food and drink containers on the table.

"Hospital food is very boring, so I ordered a lot of food as an outlet" Evan reasoned as he realized Evan was watching his messy dining table.

Nathan is silent and takes his steps out of Evan's apartment.

Evan just nodded his head without saying anything and then closed the door of his apartment.

Just as he was entering, Evan looked at Aleea who was standing at the crack of his bedroom door.

"Aleea.... Did you hear everything?" evan asked Aleea whose eyes were already glazed over.

Aleea just nodded her head slowly without saying anything, she was trying to hold back her tears from falling.

Evan then brought his steps closer to Aleea.

"Rest, don't think too much about it, it'll be fine if we can think clearly, for now just clear your mind!" evan told Aleea.

Aleea just kept silent and took her step towards the bed in Evan's room, while Evan immediately closed the door.

Time passed, Evan had just received an order of cooking ingredients that a while ago he ordered.

Evan then takes her to the kitchen, preparing to cook dinner. Despite living alone in his apartment, Evan often cooks, not only to be more frugal, but also because cooking is one of his hobbies.

Waving in the kitchen made him remember his togetherness with his mother when he was a child.

On the other hand, Aleea who had just gotten out of bed, brought her steps out of the room after she felt that she had enough rest.

"Evan, what are you doing?" aelea asked who saw Evan was busy in the kitchen.

"Prepare dinner, just wait in front," replied Evan.

Instead of waiting in front like Evan ordered, Aleea instead brought her steps closer to Evan.

"I'll help, what can I do?" aelea asked at once.

"You can wash the vegetables and cut them if you don't mind" Evan replied with a smile.

"OK," Aleea replied, then opened the fresh vegetables from the place and washed them and cut them.

"Did you cook a lot, Evan?" ask Aelea.

"Yes, although there are not many menus that I can cook, as long as it feels good on my tongue it will not be a problem hehe.." replied Evan chuckled.

"What are we cooking this time?" ask Aelea.

"I want to make chicken katsu plus some vegetables that I'll stir-fry with a little oil" Evan replied as he spread the chicken meat on an egg whisk and then covered it with panir flour.

"What if the vegetables are made with salad?" ask Aelea.

"I don't like raw vegetables Aleea hehe..."

"Aaahh so, alright," Aleea said as she cut some of the vegetables she had washed.

While waiting for the chicken that was being fried, Evan began sauteing the vegetables that Aleea had cut.

"What about your cooking class Aleea?" ask Evan.

"For a while I'm going to take a day off, I don't know when I'm going to go back to cooking classes anymore" Aleea replied.

"If it's an activity you like, you should go back to Aleea, don't you have a lot of new friends there too?"

"You're right, but for a few days I want to get away from everything, I. I want to disappear for a moment" Aleea said blankly.

"It doesn't matter, you do have to do it so you can think clearly after this" Evan said as he handed Aleea a drink.

Aleeapun took it and drank it.

"Lemon tea?" aelea asked to confirm what she had just drunk.

"Yes, I made it myself" replied Evan.

"Waaahhh, it turns out that in addition to understanding about the world of cooking, you are also good at making drinks like this," Aleea said amazed.

Evan just smiled thinly and cut the chicken that he had drained and then put it on a plate with vegetables that he sauteed.

"Try, is there anything lacking?" evan asked while giving a little of his vegetables to Aleea using a spoon.

Aleea received the spoon from Evan's hand and then tried the vegetables that Evan had just cooked.

"Waaaahhh... This is very good Evan, absolutely nothing less, you are very good at cooking," said Aleea praising Evan's cooking.

"You're so overrated Aleea, it's just a vegetable that I stir-fry with some basic seasoning" Evan said.

"It's still very tasty Evan, if I don't make it, it doesn't necessarily feel like this" Aleea said.

Evan and Aleea then enjoyed having dinner the two of them while occasionally chatting. Evan's jokes often make Aleea smile.

After finishing dinner, Evanpun washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen with Aleea.

"Don't you hire someone here, Evan?" ask Aelea.

"No Aleea, I only call the success officer if I feel the need for it" Evan replied.

"What about your family? why don't you stay with your family?" ask Aelea.

"family? I've had no family since my mother died" Evan replied with a look on his face that suddenly looked sad.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you....."

"It's over, now what are we gonna do? watch movies? or are you going out?" evan asked cutting Aleea's words with a smile.

It was obvious that Evan was trying to hide his sadness at the time.

"Just watch the movie here" Aleea replied with a smile.

Elsewhere, Nathan was in his study to do work he had not yet finished because he was in a hurry to get home when the hospital contacted him.

After finishing his work, Nathan came out of his study. As he walked through Aleea's room, Nathan only caught a glimpse of her and continued his steps down the stairs.

"Hasn't Aleea gone home yet?" nathan asked the aunt who prepared dinner at the dinner table.

"Not yet sir, should we just report to the police? it's not usual for non Aleea to leave all this time, "aunty replied.

"No need, aunt also does not need to worry about him, he can certainly take care of himself well" said Nathan.

"What if you ask, sir? aunty was worried if suddenly mother came when non Aleea had not come home," asked the aunt.

Nathan was silent for a while, thinking about what aunt had just asked him.

"Tell me if Aleea goes on vacation, if you keep asking questions, ask me to ask Nathan!" said Nathan.

"Okay, sir," replied the aunt and returned to the kitchen to clean up the kitchen.

Nathan let out a rough sigh while scooping food onto his plate.

"There or no he's here, always bothering me" Nathan said, peeved at the scoop.

Somehow that night Nathan felt so lazy to eat, even the menu of the aunt he liked, suddenly felt bland on his tongue.

Nathan ends it by sipping his drink even though the food on his plate still looks intact.
