Evan was silent, letting Aleea cry in her arms. Both of his hands hugged Aleea's back tightly, as if trying to suppress all the sadness Aleea was feeling at that moment.

After feeling calmer, Aleeapun released himself from Evan's embrace.

"I'm sorry" Aleea said with her head lowered.

Evan shook his head slowly, grabbed Aleea's hand and led her into the room and sat Aleea on the edge of the bed, while Evan sat crouching in front of Aleea.

Slowly Evan flicked Aleea's hair and put it behind his ears, his hand gently stroked Aleea's face and wiped away the remaining tears on Aleea's cheek.

Alee was grimacing a little in pain when Evan accidentally touched a bruise on his cheek.

Evan just kept quiet without saying anything. Guilt again disturbed his heart when he saw what happened to Aleea due to Nathan's actions.

One hand Evan then clasped Aleea's hand trying to give Aleea strength to live her life firmly.

For a moment Evan and Aleea just fell silent without talking to each other. A ripple of sadness and pain clearly emanated from Aleea's face, making Evan fall even more in his guilt.

Evan then relinquished his hand to Aleea, placed Aleea's phone on the table then walked out of Aleea's room and closed Aleea's room door.

Evan was silent for a while, staring at the door of Nathan's room near Aleea's room. But Evan immediately takes his steps away, driving his car away from Nathan's house.

Nathan and Vina take turns explaining everything related to the event, while Evan just silently notices.

In his head back then was only Aleea. Since leaving Nathan's house until the day had changed, Aleea still filled Evan's head. There was nothing Evan thought of other than Aleea after he saw how Aleea was doing last night.

Until suddenly someone nudges Evan's shoes, making Evan aware of his daydream. Evan immediately took his gaze around him and realized that everyone in the meeting room was watching him.

"It's presentation time!" nathan told Evan.

Evan nodded his head slowly and then moved from his seat and began his presentation.

But several times Evan lost his focus, suddenly he stopped his speech because he was confused by what he explained at that time.

With the help of Vina, Evan finally finished his presentation even though it was clear that he was not focused at the time.

Evan returned to his seat and shortly thereafter Nathan ended the meeting that day.

Together with the others, Evan moved from his seat and returned to his room. Evan dropped himself in his chair by staring blankly at the computer screen in front of him.

Evan's door opened, Nathan came in and sat down in front of Evan.

"What are you thinking about Evan?" nathan asked his daydream.

Evan shook his head then took the file on his desk and opened it.

"Did something happen?" nathan asked who was returned to his head by Evan.

"I know you're out of focus today, Evan, you don't usually like this!" said Nathan.

"Come out Nathan, I don't want to be disturbed!" evan replied without bringing his eyes to Nathan in the least.

"I'm not bothering you, I'm just....."

"Can't you go? I need to concentrate on my work!" evan cuts Nathan's words.

"Well," Nathan replied, then he got out of his seat and walked out of Evan's room.

"You can take time off after the event is over if you really need time to rest!" nathan said before he got out of Evan's room.

Evan was silent, ignoring Nathan's words.

Time passed, the clock was already showing at 12 noon when Evan came out of his room. Evan walked to the toilet, washed his face and dried it with a tissue there.

The contents of his head were still filled with Aleea, especially after he had contacted Aleea several times and was not connected.

Time passed, the clock was showing at 5 pm after Evan cleaned his desk.

Evan then tries to contact Aleea and turns out to be connected.

"Hello Aleea, are you okay?" evan asked without further ado after Aleea received her call.

"I'm fine, I'm with Tika right now" Aleea replied.

"Tika Together? where's the?"

"In area X, I'm looking for some equipment that we should buy to fill up shophouses" Aleea replied.

"Come here, Evan, because I have to leave soon after this!" sahut Tika half yelled to be heard by Evan.

"No need for Evan, just finish your job, I can do it myself" Aleea said.

"Wait there Aleea, I'll be there soon" Evan said, ending his call.

Evanpun immediately drove his car out of the office, towards where Aleea was.

After some time on the way, Evanpun reached where Aleea was. Evan was silent for a while, looking at Aleea who was chatting and seemed to be joking with Tika.

There was absolutely no sadness on Aleea's countenance back then, only a smile of laughter and a happy countenance.

"You're a great Aleea, you're a strong woman, I'm sure all this is coming to an end, sooner or later you'll really be able to feel the happiness you've always wanted," evan said in his heart.

Evan let out a long sigh, leaning his head still looking at Aleea from a distance.

Seeing Aleea laughing happily made her relieved, although she was certain that Aleea was still holding some sadness in her heart.
