Nathan's restlessness

Nathan walked up the stairs, again his eyes glimpsed at Aleea's room before he entered his room.

"Where is that stupid girl?" nathan asked himself as he carried his steps into his room.

Nathan stared at his phone, deep in his heart he thought of Aleea, but he tried to dispel what he was thinking at the time.

"I'm not worried about him, I don't care about him either, but I don't want him to cause any trouble out there if he's been out of this house too long" Nathan said.

Nathan then laid himself down, staring at the ceiling of his room while thinking about the many things that had happened since he had known Aleea.

"Bryan, it turns out that he has a lover and they're engaged, but it doesn't matter because Bryan dumped Aleea himself" Nathan said.

Nathan suddenly remembered something while he was in Evan's apartment.

"Is it possible that Aleea is with Evan?" nathan asked after he remembered the many traces of food and drink that were on Evan's dinner table.

"No, that's not possible, Evan must have told me that if Aleea was with him, he ate a lot of food because he was tired of the hospital food" Nathan said.

Because his head was thinking too much about unimportant things, Nathan then moved out of his bed and went to his study.

Nathan turned on his laptop, took some files on the desk and did some work that he didn't have to do at the time.

Nathan tried to keep his head busy because he did not want to think too much about things that he considered unimportant.

Elsewhere, Aleea and Evan were sitting on the sofa with popcorn between them.

They were watching the movie together until late at night. Aleea seemed to yawn several times and her eyes were already red.

"Sleep when you're sleepy, Aleea, "Evan told Aleea.

"I'll sleep here tonight, you can sleep in the room, Nathan won't be able to come in the middle of the night, right?"

"You're the one sleeping in Aleea's room, me...."

"I would feel uncomfortable if I always slept in the room and let you sleep on Evan's couch" Aleea said, cutting off Evan's words.

"Alright, we better take turns, tonight I'll sleep in the room and tomorrow you have to sleep in the room" said Evan.

"okay!" reply Aleea.

"So, are you going to sleep now?" ask Evan.

"No, in 15 minutes the movie is over" Aleea replied.

"Okay," replied Evan.

They then refocused on the film before them, until Aleea was completely unable to contain his drowsiness before the film was finished.

Aelea who forced herself finally closed with her head that was about to fall to the side, swiftly Evan immediately held Aleea's head with his hands.

Evan smiled faintly at the already closed Aleea. Slowly Evan picked up the popcorn between them, put it on the table and laid Aleea's head on the sofa.

Evan then got off the sofa and raised Aleea's legs to make Aleea comfortable. Evan then went into his room, took a blanket and covered Aleea's body with a blanket.

"Good night" said Evan as he rubbed Aleea's hair.

Aleea who was already very deep in her sleep, felt nothing at all. As for Evan, he immediately turned off his tv and went into his room.

Evan let out a long sigh as he had just laid on his bed.

"I think everything will be fine Aleea, I'm sorry I've made you suffer like this" Evan said in his heart.

Time passed, Nathan blinked his eyes and realized he was still in his study.

Nathan then raised his head lying on his desk, raised his hands and moved his waist as he felt so tired after he slept in his chair.

"Aaarrghh... Why am I sleeping here? my body hurts all now!" nathan grumbled as he moved from his seat.

Nathan then walked out of his study and got ready to go to the office. After preparing himself, Nathan walked towards the dining table as usual.

For a moment Nathan was silent, for some reason his eyes suddenly stared at the stairs as if waiting for someone who usually went down the stairs while he was having breakfast.

Nathan let out a rough sigh and then took a drink in front of him and immediately stirred up after he had gulped down a glass of water.

"Once in a while I have to change my routine" Nathan said as he walked into his car.

Biiiippp biiiipp biiiiippp

Nathan's phone rang, a call came in from Vina.

"Hello Vina, what's wrong?" nathan asked after he received Vina's call.

"You have to pick me up today, the bus and taxi drivers are doing a demo, so I'm having trouble getting to the office" Vina replied.

"All right," Nathan replied briefly and ended Vina's call.

Nathan then drives his car towards Vina's house. Arriving there, Vina was waiting for him and immediately got into Nathan's car.

"Luckily you picked me up, I was almost stressed about not getting a taxi since then" Vina said.

Nathan is silent without saying anything until Nathan stops his car at a cafe.

"Why stop here?" ask Nathan Vina.

"Wait here, I have to buy something" Nathan replied and got out of the car and into the cafe.

Shortly thereafter Nathan came out of the cafe with bread and two americano.

"It's not usually that you buy bread and coffee for breakfast, does Aleea not cook for you? what aunt....."

"Don't ask Vina that much" Nathan said cutting off Vina's speech while giving one americano to Vina.

"Waahh americano, you always know what I like" said Vina happily, even though she did not like the bitter drink.

"I'm just buying what I like" Nathan replies and drives his car while enjoying a piece of bread he just bought.

Without Nathan knowing, Rania who was at the cafe called Nathan, but Nathan continued to walk away because he did not hear Rania's call.

Rania, who was running after Nathan, stopped her steps when she saw a woman in Nathan's car.

"Who is that woman? I'm sure it's not Aleea's brother, but who?" rania asked as she watched Nathan who seemed to be chatting with the woman sitting next to her.

As a sister who does not know much about the life of her brother, Rania just kept quiet with a lot of question marks in her head until finally the car that Nathan was driving left the cafe.

"Maybe it's just Nathan's friend riding in Nathan's car" said Rania, nodding her head slowly, choosing to think positively about what she had just seen.

"There aren't many groceries I can cook" Aleea said, thinking about what she could make with potluck.

"I know," said Aleea with a smile after she got an idea of what she could cook that morning.

Some time struggling in the kitchen, fried rice with beef eggs finally served on two plates.

Aleea then took her to the balcony and placed her on the counter on the balcony. When Aleea went back in to grab a drink, Evan had just walked out of his room.

"Aleea, what are you doing?" evan asked as he yawned when he saw Aleea carrying a bottle of drink and 2 glasses towards the balcony.

"I just finished cooking, come here!" reply Aleea.

Evanpun took his steps following Aleea and saw 2 servings of fried rice complete with beef-eye eggs and drinks on the table.

"I don't know if it suits your taste or not, but I don't think it's so bad" Aleea said.

With a smile Evanpun brought himself to sit on the balcony chair.

"This is all I can cook with the ingredients in the kitchen, I hope you like it" Aleea replied and filled Evan's glass with water.

"Thank you Aleea" said Evan.

They enjoy their breakfast on the balcony, something Evan has never done before.

"You're getting better at cooking Aleea, it looks like I'm going to love all the food you're cooking" Evan said praising Aleea's cooking.

"It's just Evan's fried rice, everyone can make it" Aleea replied.

"But not everyone managed to make it with a taste like this Aleea," said Evan who made Aleea blush.

"Other times you don't have to bother like this Aleea, we can order food from the outside" Evan continued.

"I didn't feel much trouble for Evan at all, this is all I can do as a form of my gratitude" Aleea said.

"Seeing you're okay is enough for me, Aleea" Evan replied.

After finishing her breakfast, Aleea and Evan washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen together before they finally returned to sit on the balcony.

"You're not going to the office, are you?" ask Aleea to make sure.

"No, Nathan prevented me from going to the office until my CT scan came out" Evan replied.

"Hopefully everything is fine because Nathan is so worried about you, Evan" Aleea said.

"I also won't forgive myself if something bad happens to you" Aleea continued.

"Everything will be fine Aleea, trust me!" said Evan who was met with a nod of the head and a smile by Aleea.

Evan then brought his steps in and soon returned with a P3K box.

"Come Aelea!" evan asked Aleea to sit down.

"You must be diligent in cleaning and treating your wounds Aleea, lest an infection occur!" said Evan.

"It's just a small injury Evan, it will definitely heal by itself" Aleea replied.

"No matter how small your wound is, you have to keep treating Aleea, so as not to get worse and more difficult to treat it" said Evan while removing the plaster on Aleea's forehead.

Evan then cleaned Aleea's wounds and treated them and re-closed them with plaster.

"Is the bathroom floor so slippery that you slipped in the bathroom?" ask Evan to clean up the P3K box.

Aleea simply nodded her head softly without saying anything. He recalled the incident back then, where he unwittingly spent one night under a shower that continued to light up.

"Aleea, it looks like we're forgetting something!" evan said that made Aleea immediately bring his eyes to Evan.

"What?" ask Aelea.

"Aren't we shopping at the supermarket a few days ago? did you take it from my car?" reply Evan.

"Aaahh yes, I haven't picked it up yet" said Aleea, who was recently reminded of it.

"Let's take it, it seems like it would be nice if we made a cake together" said Evan, who was met with a nod of his head by Aleea.

Evan and Aleea then get out and walk to the basement to pick up their groceries in Evan's car and take him into Evan's apartment.

"Split your personal belongings with Aleea cake ingredients, I'll find out what kind of cake we can make with the ingredients of the cake we've bought!" evan told Aleea.

Aleea nodded her head then took one large pouch from another and shifted it away.

"These are the ingredients of the cake that we have bought" Aleea said as he placed several other bags on the living room sofa.

"Okay, let's split the task!" said Evan then brought all the ingredients of the cake to the kitchen.

"Aleea, you melt solid chocolate, margarine and a little oil, I'll whisk eggs and sugar" Evan told Aleea.

"OK ready," Aleea replied and prepared a bowl to melt the solid chocolate on the boiling water.

After finishing shuffling the eggs and sugar, Evan then put the chocolate powder and flour with sifted and then stir it until flat.

After that Evan put the solid chocolate that had melted perfectly and stirred it again.

Not to forget Aleea heated the oven first and then applied margarine on a square pan and then put the bread paper as the base.

As long as they made the cake, they talked about many things that once in a while made Aleea laugh.

Seeing Aleea laughing really made Evan feel relieved, at least the sadness Aleea felt had already melded in with time.

After getting the appropriate oven temperature, Evanpun put his fudgy brownie dough into the baking pan and roasted it in the oven for approximately 35 minutes with the temperature lowered after the first 10 minutes of roasting.

In the office, Nathan stood in the meeting room with a stiffened face because he held back his emotions.

"Why can you ignore that little thing? wouldn't it be obvious that a small problem would be big if you didn't solve it!"

"Sorry Mr. Nathan, the marketing and production team has been trying to coordinate on this issue, but....."

"But what? there's no results and no solutions and then you let it go?" nathan asked cutting Vina's words.

"Excuse us sir" said Vina with a slight bow of her head.

"I leave this responsibility to you because I trust you Vina, but if it's like this it's better to just disband the team you've formed!" nathan said then threw the file he was holding.

"Meeting is over, get back to where you belong!" nathan then walked out of the meeting room full of emotion.
