Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
105. Bodies Floating

Days change days, weeks change weeks, time moves on quickly. The murder of Jenny at Gerry's residence seems to live the story. Each of the nine students lived a normal life, as if nothing had happened. They try to forget bad events, that is by staying active as usual.

Adinda had just walked out of the library on the third floor with Lena, when Rasty approached. The parasites looked anxious, like they had just experienced something bad.

“Why Race?” ask Lena curiously.

“I want it. Are you comfortable with this condition?” Rasty asked back.

“Emang why are you asking me like that, Ras? You got a problem?” ask Lena.

Adinda was silent, although in fact she also felt uncomfortable with the incident at Gerry's house. He was curious, whether only he felt uncomfortable, it turns out Rasty also felt the same way.

They sit in the cafeteria enjoying meatballs. Unfortunately, the taste of meatballs is not as good as usual because there is something stuck in the mind. Only Lena still looks relaxed, really enjoying the meatballs at hand.

“Honestly until now I still feel very guilty. Moreover, you all think as if I killed Jenny. Today I met with friends who were in one major with Jenny. They asked if Jenny hadn't been in college for a long time. I replied don't know.” Rasty started telling stories.

“I also feel bad. Really am. I often wake up at night and feel like Jenny is in my room. Maybe I was scared by the shadow I made myself,” Adinda added.

“Okay, you guys huh? How am I safe, huh? Don't think about it!” said Lena.

Suddenly, in the corner of the cafeteria they accidentally saw Rudi eating alone with another student. Suddenly it makes Rasty anxious.

“Indeed the Rudi's playboy! So soon she got another girl!” his gerrick.

“That's just a day! Why also take care of Rudi. You should be grateful. Try if it's still her. Who eats ati every day!” Lena.

They continued eating meatballs, but apparently Rudi and the beautiful student approached. Rudi deliberately glanced at the girls who were eating, while showing off the new students he brought.

“New again, Rud?” lena Cibir.

“Oh yes dong. It's Nayya. What do you think? Not compatible?” ask Rudi.

The girl named Nayya blushed in embarrassment, while Rasty threw away her face. He was tired of being in that place. Adinda also seemed to not respond to Rudi.

“Beauty. Kind of like Jenny huh?” said Lena.

Rudi gasped at Lena's words. He looked at Lena with anger. He wanted to spray Lena, but was stopped because Nayya was there. Immediately he pulled Nayya's hand to leave Lena and her friends. Rudi felt angry, because actually he wanted to bury his memories with Jenny deeply. Lena's words made her mind return to the atmosphere of the new year party at Gerry's house yesterday. Rudi pulled Nayya's arm somewhat hastily towards the campus courtyard, where the car was parked.

“Where is Jenny going now? How rarely do you look?” asked Nayya, when entering Rudi's car.

The car was lined up among other cars parked on the sprawling campus courtyard.

“I don't know either. He said he wanted to get out of town with some business. But how come there's no news so far?” rudi replied hesitantly.

“But you guys broke up, right, Rud?” ask Nayya again.

“Chooking. Jenny and I have nothing to do. So don't worry!”

Rudi held Nayya's hand gently. The girl smiled. Their car drove out of the campus courtyard, towards the crowded city crowd that began that afternoon.

It's not too late. The sun had just risen, when two anglers arrived at the edge of a silent lake. They come a bit bad luck, to worry about not getting much results.

They chose a rather shady spot on the edge of the lake, right under a large tree. His haired friend did not seem to react. He was watching the situation around.

“How about we don't have to fish first today, Nus?” ask Risman, the fat-haired guy.

“Emang why? Are you getting bored of fishing? What do you want to feed your wife's child?” cibir Yunus, the man in the hat.

“Today only! I have no spirit anymore. Yesterday I was approached by a debt collector. They continue to pay off debt. It has been said that if there is money will be paid off, eh even do not believe,” complained Risman.

“Makanya Man, I have never liked the debts in such a place. If we can't pay, we'll be chased. But what does debt collectors have to do with fishing?” ask Yunus.

“Yes, I don't think there's any spirit!” answer Risman.

He went around looking around the lake. Suddenly his eyes were fixed on something strange, floating in the stream on the edge of the lake, among the grass of water plants. The stench went out immeasurably, so Risman felt like throwing up. He covers his nose tightly.

“You why Man?” ask Yunus.

“Nus, try you here! See what the hell is that? I think there's a dead animal!” risman said while closing his nose.

“What animal carcass? Ngaco you!”

Jonah was also curious about what Risman said. After closing his nose, he looked towards the water plant that was growing lushly on the edge of the lake. Sure enough, he saw something surrounded by flies seemed to bulge there. He looked carefully at what animal carcasses were floating there.

“Man, I don't think it's an animal?” guess Jonah.

“Not what animal? Keep what?”

“Try you get the wood, I want to pull a bit here to make it clearer!”

After getting wood from a tree branch, Jonah pulled something that floated. However, how shocked they were when they saw more clearly something that floated it!

“Jeez, Man! It's a human corpse ...”

Jonah's voice shakes. Risman half-believed to hear that. He looked down. Sure enough, this time he could see more clearly that the one floating among the water plants was a human corpse!

Once they found out that the floats were dead bodies, they immediately moved away. Their stomachs felt stirred, not only because of the foul scent, but because of the condition of the crushed corpse. The condition is not intact, even some body parts have been torn apart by animals.

“Sial! No fish even got a corpse! We're just running away!” grunts Jonah.

“This must be a crime, Nus. We'll report the police. Rather than later we get blamed. It was clearly a murder victim. Really impressive, I swear!”

“I have a police acquaintance. I think he's great, because yesterday he just uncovered a murder case in that horrible old castle!”

“Who are your acquaintances?”

“Mas Dimas! He's my neighbor. Let's just report him!”

“OK, okay! We report our discovery!”
