Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
XXX. The thief?

The car at a fast speed was approaching Helen and Hans who were on the verge of despair. A dark blue taxi. Inside was a figure of a man who looked familiar. Helen gave a sigh of relief, Hans got up from his seat out of curiosity. Doctor Dwi has returned from the city. He was not alone, with a beautiful young girl, wearing black glass in the back seat. The car slowed down, then stopped.

“What are you guys doing here?” ask dr. Dwi.

“Our car has been damaged, Doc. It's lucky you passed. Must be heading for the castle. We're hitchhiking to the castle to change cars. Let this old car rot here,” Helen said with a hopeful look.

“Hmm. The back seat only fit two people, unless you want a little overstretched!” dr.dwi.

“No problem, Doc. I guess I'd love a little jostling.” Hans replied as he glanced towards the young girl sitting in the back seat.

“Oh, who's the girl, Doc?” ask Helen.

“I accidentally met him too. He said he was going to the castle to find his girlfriend for disappearing without news after being invited by Anggara."

“What is the name of her lover?” asked Hans enthusiastically.

His passion suddenly churned at the sexy young girl. Unfortunately, the girl did not flinch at Hans' presence. The cold-faced man was getting curious.

“Aldo Riyanda's. Isn't he one of the writers Anggara invited?” ask dr. Dwi.

“Hmm yes. Let me take care of it!” muttered Hans.

Without much discussion, Hans and Helen immediately got into the car. Before long, a car drove through the hills covered in tea plants. Hans chose to sit to the left, while the young girl sat in the middle. He was more silent, dissolving in his mind.

“Sorry, I'm Hans. Whatis yourname? Maybe I can help?” greet Hans with a stiff tone. His face also looked frozen, almost without a tinge smile.

The young girl looked at Hans intently. He opened his sunglasses, scrunched his forehead while shaking his head. His expression was no less cold, without a smile.

“I'm not sure you can help me,” replied the young girl.

“oya? At least allow me to know what your name is and our business is done. I think you'll need help because we're going to the same place, even with the same intent!”

“My name doesn't really matter to you. I'm not sure we mean the same thing. My girlfriend got a birthday invitation from Anggara Laksono, and I lost the news. Good thing I met dr.Dwi who will also go to Anggara residence. Are you also looking for your lover or what?” The girl looked straight ahead without looking at Hans.

The car kept going. While Helen seemed to not care about the events around her. His face still looked grim, like bearing an unspeakable burden. The taxi driver played an old Beatles song on his car radio, singing a little.

“Oh, no. I don't have a lover. I'm a lover of freedom, I don't like commitment. I guess if you tell me your name, I'll be able to help!”

“Stop seducing me! I'm not interested in sharing your name.”

Hans grunting. It was unexpected that this young girl was so arrogant. I must admit that his appearance is perfect. In his heart, he thought that Aldo Riyanda must have been very lucky to have a lover like him. Besides being beautiful, she also has an aura of intelligence.

Yes, on several occasions Aldo has told me that he has a lover of a photographer who works in a famous women's magazine in Jakarta.

A deep sense of trauma experienced by Maira after the events of the attempted murder of her. Even to the reading room, he did not dare to be alone. Unfortunately no one wants to accompany, because it considers Maira's story is just a figment. His excitement seemed to perish, he more often daydreamed in the middle room.

Maira was surprised by Michael's sudden presence. His eyes shone with fear, considering that he had thought Michael was the murderer who haunted the writers in the old castle.

“What do you want to do? Don't come near me! Go!” expel Maira. He refused Michael's juice.

“Hmm. I'm sorry, Maira. I know you're devastated by the events in the reading room. Unfortunately, no one believes your story. But I do believe. You can tell me if you want,” said Michael in a soft tone.

“Sorry Michael! I don't believe you. I don't trust anyone! Leave me alone. Stop pretending in front of me. You might be able to trick all the inhabitants of this castle. But I already know what you're doing. Don't try to get close to me!”

“Maira, really I don't understand what you mean!”

“Do not pretend! I know it was you who tried to kill me in the reading room!” Maira's eyes implied fear.

A deep sense of trauma was still lingering in his brain. Michael laughed at Maira's words. He shook his head. Maira was getting angry seeing that.

“Where did you get such a crazy opinion, Maira?” ask Michael.

“Novelmu, Michael. The murder storyline you wrote is very identical to what happened in this castle. How could anyone else do the same with the sequence of events you created? The culprit must be the author of the novel itself!” Maira.

“Jeez Maira! That's the dumbest analysis I've ever heard. If I was the killer, you think that would show me my identity? Think again, Maira! I thought there was someone else who was imitating the way of murder with the novel I wrote! The fourth murder failed. Maybe after this the killer will jump to the fifth murder or it could be that he will still run the fourth murder. We never knew that! Now we have to be vigilant.”

“Omong is empty with this madness! I just want to go home!”

Maira looks depressed. Her tears began to fade. Michael tries to hug, but is rejected by Maira. The young lady's soul began to shake. He feared he would still be the target of a fourth assassination, albeit in a different way. However, he did not want to die silly in such a horrible way. The gripping condition of the castle made it almost crazy.

Suddenly, in a hasty step, and filled with rage, Adrianna entered the living room carrying a bottle of perfume. He looked at Maira with hatred.

“Basic thief!” peekkik Adrianna's.

Maira was silent, looking at Adrianna in surprise. He had no idea what Adrianna was saying. Michael was also curious. I don't know what kind of problems these two young women are facing.

“What happened, Adrianna?” ask Michael.

“A few days ago I lost perfume in my makeup box. Expensive perfumes with limited sales. Then I tried to figure out for myself who took the perfume. I entered the women's rooms one by one, I didn't think the perfume was in Maira's wardrobe!” Adrianna.

“Gosh! You entered my room without permission?” ask Maira.

“Ya, right! If only I hadn't gone in there, no one would have known you were a thief!”

Adrianna's gaze sharpened even more, piercing Maira. Michael just held his breath, not wanting to get involved in the affairs of these two women. Even if he can't just leave, worry that these two women will scratch each other. He must be the mediator.

“I'm not a thief!” peekot Maira's.
