Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
350. Lever in Toilet

In his quiet and stuffy room, Niken does not want to despair. He gathered all his strength to fight back in order to escape from the room. He went back to knocking on the wall of the room, hoping someone would hear him. Although it was such an absurd thing, that was all he could do.

Duk ... duk .. duk!

"It seems like no one is listening. Shit!" aspir Niken.

He intends to find another tool harder to break the wall. At a glance his eyes looked towards the small toilet room at the end of the room. The toilet room looked broken, but there was the sound of water dripping from it. Niken was curious. He walked slowly towards the small toilet. Once there, he saw the atmosphere inside was extremely disgusting. The walls are dull full of scribbles, even dried up bloodstains. The floor is blackish because it is mossy. Inside there is only a bath-tub that is dirty not playing, and a WC sitting whose contents are overflowing, causing a foul odor. Cockroaches crawl everywhere.

The contents of Niken's stomach felt like stirring. He felt like vomiting, while covering his nose. Inside the toilet there is also a sink with a faucet that has rusted. Apparently the sound of water dripping was coming from the faucet. The dripping water is brown, not worth using for cleaning or drinking. On top of the sink was a mirror whose glass was opaque. Niken looked at the almost invisible image of her face from the mirror.

When he decided to get out of the toilet room, he saw some cockroaches coming out of the mirror. He frowned, thinking if there was something behind the frosted mirror. He immediately took the stone he used to hit the wall, then went back into the toilet, he smashed the stone in his hand into the mirror.

Praang!

The mirror immediately broke. Niken's guess is right. Behind the mirror was a rather deep cavity, and it seemed to have become the kingdom of cockroaches. The disgusting animals scattered out, so Niken was forced to avoid. He was not particularly disgusted, but it was amused that the beast was crawling on his feet or hands. He tried to look into the cavity behind the mirror. It looks like something's been hidden here.

To make sure of that, he put his hands into the cavity, stirring up what might be hidden inside there. Apparently, he found some kind of secret lever behind the mirror. What is this lever, thought Niken. He did not think there was a lever hidden behind the mirror. He pulled the lever back, thinking it was to open a secret door or even a door that could take him out.

Greeek!

Something unexpected happened. The dull wall full of scribbles suddenly opened, revealing another dark passageway. Niken was very surprised to see that. His hope was burning for a moment.  He gathered all the energy he had, in order to make his way down the mysterious new passage!

Jeremy was surprised at the door of the room, found Aditya's body lying on the floor in a state of blood. He could barely say anything, nor did he dare to approach. He turned his head towards Juned, questioning what had happened to Aditya. Obviously he felt very devastated because he last saw Aditya in good condition, and now he found Adit's body in a bad state.

"He we found dead slit in the throat. We didn't manage to save him. Apparently he was held in a room and was finished off. Now we wait for the paramedics to come and move the body" Juned said.

"God! Who did that to him?" hiss Jeremy held back the anger.

"We're still looking for this perpetrator, too, Jer. Whoever he is, must be a heartless, savage, and a heavyweight psycho. We're still figuring out who this guy really is" Juned said slowly.

"I .. I feel guilty. I should have never allowed him to come with me underground at that time. Because of me, he died this way. I'm sorry, Dit. I'll help find the killer. For God's sake, I also can't be at ease if you die this way" Jeremy murmured.

"Why would a madman build a building this complex?" june asked while shining a flashlight towards the rooms there.

"I don't really understand history, but I think this building has been around since colonial times. There are a lot of creepy stories in this place, but I don't want to bring it up. It's just that I was also astonished, why does evil seem to repeat itself in this place? Why does this place seem to be a favorite place to do evil?"

Jeremy's question was not answered. Juned had already gone down the hallway, checking around the place. Jeremy was just pensive to see Aditya's body. He was sorry, but the rice had become porridge, there was nothing he could do. Until now the existence of Stella still no signs found. He hopes that his wife can be found alive, as do Maya, Nadine, and Rosita, who were previously reported missing, but are still found alive.

Rosita and Edwin walk down the asphalt road away from the castle. They walk while enjoying the beautiful panorama around the castle. The expanse of the garden looks so vast, as far as the eye can see. Rosita felt the clean air entering her lungs. He inhaled deeply while smiling widely.

"It's been a long time since I've felt this way" Rosita said.

"Yes Ros, you're right. This garden looks like it is in heaven. By the way, how about we get into that plantation? I never knew, how the hell about going in there? All this time we've only seen it on doang television" Edwin said.

"Enter the plantation? Later afraid to get lost anyway," said Rosita rather hesitating.

"Alaaah, do deket aja the same castle.uh, the castle tower is still visible from here. Just not far away I thought it was okay. Yuk!" persuade Edwin.

Rosita tried to dispel her doubts. They saw a narrow path flanked by lush tea plants on his right and left, splitting a hill. The path was covered with some kind of rope and a paper inscription, with the inscription FORBIDDEN TO ENTER.

"Eh, but is it forbidden to enter, Win? I'm afraid there's nothing there." Rosita began to doubt.

"Udahlah Ros! Very scared. Writing bias is forbidden to enter like that so that no one can destroy the plant. We're not going in to ruin, so that's okay. I expected to see the inside of the garden. Yuk!"

Edwin stepped over the rope, and was soon followed by Rosita. Although somewhat doubtful, Rosita still violated the warning writing. They went down the path that cut through the garden, to a hill above. The atmosphere in the garden is so green, they so enjoy the panorama. Their destination is up the hill, because maybe there they can get a more beautiful view.

"Try on with the camera!" said Rosita.

Edwin nodded. They kept on going, until they forgot that they had stepped too far away from the castle. The atmosphere around the castle had made them complacent and forget themselves.
