Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
LXXXV. Inside The Coffin

Antony saw Ringo's figure tied up in a coffin, his mouth also plastered with black duct tape. Ringo looks thrashed, trying to break away from the bond. Antony did not linger, immediately untied the hands and feet of Ringo, then opened the duct tape attached to his mouth.

“You okay?” ask Antony.

“Yes, I'm fine. What is Melly's fate? Is she okay?” ask Ringo worriedly.

“He's okay. Right now he's back at the castle with Sonya, because I think it's quite dangerous in this forest,” Antony said.

“We have to hurry to the castle and tell the people there!”

“Wait .. wait! What the hell is it? You tell me first, what really happened? Why are you suddenly in that crate?” ask Antony.

“There's a dangerous psychopath hanging around here. He was black-robed and heavily armed. I'm afraid he's done evil to the people in the castle. He snared me with a thread until my neck was hurt. I think he can finish me off at any time. Come on, we have to hurry there!” bring Ringo.

“A psychopath? Holy hooch! So the one who ran through Melly's bag was a psychopath?”

“Absolutely. He has been stalking our existence like him. We should tell the others immediately. I'm worried about Melly and Sonya? What if the psychopath gets in the way before he gets to the castle?” ask Ringo.

“You scared me, Ringo! Then we have to catch up with Melly and Sonya!”

Without a long discussion, the two young men immediately came out of the hut, and ran to catch up with the other two friends. No matter breaking through the thickets, they want to see Melly and Sonya right away.

Reno and Helen's conversation stopped. Reno kisses something is wrong in the castle. He looked into Helen's eyes, but the old woman seemed to dodge.

“If there are no more questions, you may leave this castle, Sir. Sorry, a lot of work I have to finish,” said Helen.

“Wait! I'll take a look at this castle. If you want to continue the work please!”

“Mmm, I'll accompany you if you don't mind. The castle is vast, I fear you will get lost,” Helen said.

“Good. Can I enter this castle?”

Helen seemed hesitant to answer, but a moment later she nodded. Actually Reno saw the look of Helen who looked anxious. It was that anxiety that made Reno even more convinced that there was indeed something hidden from this castle.

The two of them walked down the hallway that connected with the living room that looked empty. Reno paused for a moment. At the table, there were two cups of coffee that had just been drunk a little. Reno took one of the cups, and kissed it.

“There are guests in this house?” ask Reno.

“Oh, I just had coffee but I didn't spend it,” replied Helen.

“There are two cups here. Who do you drink coffee with?” ask Reno again.

“There is a friend visiting ...”

“Friends?” Reno scrunched his forehead.

He did not believe Helen's words. It doesn't make sense for anyone to visit the castle two hours away from the city for no apparent reason. Helen did not answer that question.

“Let me drive to another room,” take Helen.

Reno nodded. He followed Helen's steps down a corridor connecting to the dining room.

The atmosphere was so quiet, because the other castle dwellers chose to stay inside the room. Helen expected that.

“Excellent construction is magnificent!” praise Reno.

“You want me to take you to the reading room?”

“What's interesting there?” ask Reno.

“Tuan Anggara has a collection of thousands of interesting books. Maybe you can look around for a while,” take Helen.

“Alright, I'll be there for a while,” replied Reno.

The two immediately walked towards the reading room located at the side of the castle. Reno still admired the architecture of such a great castle. Arriving in front of the reading room, Helen opened the door and let her in.

Reno nodded. It entered into a large reading room. There was a mystical ambush. For a moment he was confused as to what he was going to do in the room.

Dimas followed the black figure that was in front of him, but suddenly the figure disappeared. Where the hell did he go? Now he is confused in the middle of the intersection of the hallway. Should he turn left and right. He stood glued.

“Pak! You okay?” suddenly there was a voice from behind that shocked him.

Instantly he looked.

“Elina, why are you coming down?”

“I'm curious. I guess I'm safer when I'm with you.”

Dimas did not answer. He refocused on the hallway in front of him. Suddenly the sound of the door slamming again. The direction of the voice was clearly heard from the left hallway door. Sontak Dimas immediately ran towards the source of the sound. Elina followed behind him. Unfortunately, when approached the atmosphere back empty, as if nothing.

“Does anyone inhabit in the basement here?” ask Dimas.

“Down, I don't understand at all,” replied Elina.

Dimas hinted Elina to be quiet for a moment. He saw a bright light coming out of a room.

“You see that?” whisper Dimas to Elina.

“Sot light bulbs?”

“Yes. All the rooms here are dark, and the room is the only one that shines the light of the lamp. Let's see there!” bring Dimas.

The two walked slowly towards the room that looked slightly bright. Arriving in front of the padlocked door, Dimas peeked out from behind the bars. He saw a man sitting desperately in the corner of the room.

“What do you see?” ask Elina.

“A man. He seems to be a prisoner. He sat motionless,” whispered Dimas.

“Do-not him ...”

“You know him? Who?”

“I don't know. My only boyfriend told me there was a doctor who went missing from this castle a while ago. Don't-don't it's him!”

“I can't be sure if he's a doctor or not. Looks like we have to open this door padlock.”

“How to? You're gonna shoot him?”

“If I shoot, then the eruption will attract attention. I think we should open it another way,” Dimas said.

“So I saw a lot of crowbars. I'll get it for you in a moment!”

“Don't take too long!”

Elina immediately rushed back to the starting place, because she did see a room that functions like a warehouse, full of unused items, including a rusty crowbar. He went down the other hallway to get back to the room.

He had just turned to the intersection of the hallway, when he heard a voice calling out to him.

“Elina! Please ... help me!” the weak voice was heard from one of the other rooms lined up there. Elina seemed to know that voice. He stopped, looking for the source of the sound.

“Who's there?” ask Elina.

“Please me Elina! Someone kept me here. Help u! I need your help!”

Elina hesitated. He must come to the voice that calls him, or take the crowbar to Dimas. Consciousness churns. For a moment he thought, maybe helping the person being held is urgent. He decided to look for the direction of the source of the voice calling his name.
