Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
368. Dimas Presentation.

Three cups of tea were steaming hot steam, served on a round table inside the reading room. An antique clock standing gracefully in a corner of the room shows five o'clock over ten minutes. It was still a little dark outside, because the sun had not yet appeared, while the cold air was still biting on the skin, but the three men looked comfortable sitting around the round table. Dimas was ready with a stack of files and evidence he had obtained from the results of his investigation for several days in the city, while Ammar and Reno were eager to hear the explanation directly from Dimas.

"Actually I wanted to talk immediately last night, but I got to the castle too late, so I chose to delay, and I decided to speak this morning. I've brought a stack of support files. In this supporting data we may find new facts that will bring us closer to the suspect in this case," said Dimas.

Reno and Ammar nodded, allowing the young policeman to begin a presentation on his findings over the course of several days in the city. Dimas took a breath for a while, preparing mentally. For him, presenting the findings in front of two senior police officers made him feel a little nervous.

"So I'm going to start with this photo" Dimas said.

He took out an old photo of Mariah from a map, which showed a picture of The Girl Squad, along with a picture of the Saints still in it. The photo looks a little blurry, but still clear enough to see.

"I'm sure Bang Ammar knows who's in this picture. This is a photo of Mariah's youth with her friends now gathered in this castle. You can recognize him, right? They were beautiful and popular in High School. They formed a small group called The Girl Squad. That's normal for girls, right? But now let's focus on the picture of a sweet black girl in the corner of this photo. He's kind of isolated from the others, right? This is what makes me wonder who this girl really is, and why she didn't join her friends in this castle." Dimas said.

Reno and Ammar were still enthusiastic about listening to Dimas' explanation, while closely observing the photo Dimas showed. Sometimes they take a cup of tea to warm the body.

"This girl is named Holy Andriani. He's not actually a member of their gang, but he really hopes to be a part of the gang. It is strongly opposed by the gang members on the grounds that it leads to physical and mental humiliation. However, there was one gang member who felt sympathy for Saints. He secretly befriended the Saints, heard the complaints of the Saints, and perhaps established some kind of secret brotherhood between them. He also invited Suci to take pictures together, without the knowledge of others.  Until now, maybe they also no one knows who has betrayed," continued Dimas.

"Then what does Sacred have to do with this case?" ask Reno impatiently.

"Wait, Ren! I'm not done explaining. I have come to the Holy House with his mother. Suci is an only child raised by a single mother. The bad thing, apparently Suci had died by suicide. According to his mother, Suci was under severe psychological pressure. In addition to the rough treatment of gang members, apparently she was pregnant due to being tricked by a man whose identity is also unknown. At least this is what can be extracted from the diary. You must still be asking, what does this have to do with the case? It turns out that the death of the Saints is not immediately all also completed. Holy Death carries deep scars for his abandoned family and his best friend. This friend apparently wanted to complete revenge and avenge what was experienced by Saints. The threat is real, evidenced by some existing threat."

Dimas stopped his sentence for a moment, when he saw Ammar was also about to speak.

"To be honest, Mariah also told me the same thing. What Dimas told me is true. It turns out that Mariah has a dark past that I can't imagine at all. Mariah cried and apologized, begging me not to leave her. Yes, everyone has made mistakes, but this time mistakes are not enough with apologies. Mariah has also received death threats in person. All this time he felt anxious, because bad events can happen at any time, but fortunately I can calm down," added Ammar.

"So how are we moving now? Do we here also have a lead on the perpetrator? Keep in mind, the longer, the more victims who fall will be more and more. Yesterday there were reports that Ryan, Nadine's husband, also disappeared. We need to get this done quickly. So I told Juned to make a move this morning as well. Juned said he found a tunnel under the castle that went through the woods. He also has a clue that Niken is also being held not far from the tunnel. Let him investigate accompanied by Jeremy, and search for Ryan!" reno.

"I've already bagged a name. After I traced the series of events that had happened, it turned out to be related to each other. This name has a background similar to Sacred. I saw a big lie and a mask played out perfectly and systematically. We'll reveal this soon! We need to call all the residents and we will hold the hearing as usual" Dimas said.

"What name do you mean?" ask Reno.

Dimas smiled as he showed a photo to two of his colleagues.

Mariah felt sleepy when she opened her eyes. He looked at the antique wall clock in his room. It was five o'clock less, but he did not see Ammar. Where's husband? To be honest he felt a little relieved, as he had revealed everything that weighed on his mind to Ammar. He sat on the bed and yawned. Cold air ambushed his body. He is still sleepy, maybe a few more minutes of sleep will relieve the drowsiness that hangs in his eyes.

Suddenly the door to his room was knocked. Who knocked this early? Doesn't Ammar usually just walk in, without knocking? Mariah put on her flower-flowered kimono then rushed to open the carved wooden door in her room.

He opened the door to find his friend standing at the door, in a state of neat clothes. Mariah was astonished, why was she as neat as that in a blind morning like this?

"How neat are you? What's so early in the morning?" ask Mariah in surprise.

"Mariah ... "

The female figure looked agitated while squeezing her hands. He looked to the left and to the right, as if looking for something. Mariah was astonished by this strange gesture.

"What's wrong?"

"There's something I need to show you. Lusty!" said the woman.

"Wheat? What the hell is going on?" ask Mariah.

"You should see, Mariah. Come fast!"

Mariah hesitated a bit, but then she nodded. He followed the steps of his girlfriend who was walking hurriedly to the back room, past the kitchen, and he began to open the basement window. From the open window, Mariah could see a room so dark and silent. Mariah felt dizzy instantly. A shadow of trauma suddenly loomed over his mind.

"You mean we're going into the basement?" mariah asked with a trembling voice.

"Yes Mariah. There's something you should see in there!"

"No, sorry. I can't get into the basement. You know, I've been through a lot of trauma every time I've been in the basement. I'm sorry, I'm just gonna have someone else to...."

"Take your stomach or I rip your stomach!"

The woman whispered softly in Mariah's ear, gluing a sharp object to Mariah's side. Mariah shuddered. He was still confused, because he did not expect his friend would do that to him. His heart was racing, but it seemed to be a waste of resistance at this moment. Even if he shouted, of course the knife would also stick in his stomach. He only resigned when his female friend pushed him into the basement.

"Get in the big fish! You've been in a trap!"
