Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
384. Pursuit

Ammar acted immediately when he found out Mariah was tied to a chair. He tried to calm down, despite seeing the condition of Mariah who seemed to be very hit. He did not want to wonder first, but the most important thing to do now was to save his wife. He immediately released the bond that shackled Mariah's body quickly.

"Ammar, I'm sorry," sis Mariah.

Ammar just shook his head, preventing his wife from thinking things through. Mariah is still crying. The woman felt guilty for not obeying Ammar's orders. Previously, Ammar asked Mariah to stay in the room and not go anywhere. However, he instead came out following Nadine who deliberately set him up.

Mariah hugged Ammar in tears as her hands and feet were free from the knot. Ammar tried to calm down by rubbing his hair and back. A moment later, Mariah recalled the figure of the man lying on the floor under her feet.

"Jeremy" whispered Mariah.

Ammar immediately let go of the hug, immediately checking the condition of Jeremy who was lying on the floor of the room. His condition did not move, with his back shedding blood due to pierced sharp objects. Ammar held the pulse that was in Jeremy's neck. A moment later, Ammar's face turned lethargic, shaking weakly.

"In-he's alive, right?" mariah asked in a weak voice.

Ammar only sighed, shook his head weakly, then said, "I'm sorry Mariah."

Mariah could not hide her sadness.  He came back crying. He felt indebted to Jeremy who had removed the plaster in his mouth. He did not think that the man was dead. Apparently he was unable to survive, due to too much blood loss.

"We must get out of this place, Mariah, immediately" whispered Ammar.

But Jeremy .... "

"He's dead, Mariah. We're gonna get the help above so the evacuation team gets Jeremy out of here. What matters is we need to get out of here. This is a dangerous place" said Ammar.

"I know the culprit" muttered Mariah.

"Yes, we know too. Everything was handled by Dimas. We better go upstairs, because you need help right away. Let's get out of here!"

Mariah nodded. He could only obey Ammar's orders. Mariah was about to step up, but she suddenly fell down. His legs were soft and there was no strength to step. Because the legs are long tied, it is difficult to move. He shook his head in despair, unable to step.

Ammar immediately understood the condition of his wife. He sat crouching, hinting for Mariah to go up to his back. Inevitably, he had to carry Mariah, there was no way he was forcing Mariah to walk in this dark alley.

"I will promise you one thing, Ammar," whispered Mariah later.

"What's that?"

"I'll close this castle forever and I'll sell it. I don't want to be here anymore. Will not set again in this place" whispered Mariah.

Ammar just nodded. The castle holds many terrible secrets. Of course, Mariah's decision to sell this castle was not an exaggeration.

The reading room was still covered in chest-stifling smoke, though not as thick as before. Slowly the smoke began to thin, so that in the dimness the women could see their comrades. The remaining women held hands with anxious faces. They did not expect that the friend they thought was timid and friendly turned out to be a dangerous psychopath.

"She's chasing Nadine out of nowhere" Lily replied.

"What are we doing now?" ask Maya again.

"I'll light the candle again!"

Rosita acted immediately. He fumbled to find a match on the table, then lit a candle, after he had previously made a barrier from the paper so that the candle flame would not die in the wind. Now, the reading room is a little brighter because of the glowing candlelight. Now they can see each other's expressions. They were still very upset by the incident that just happened.

"What's going on? Why is this room full of smoke?"

Suddenly they heard Reno's voice that had just entered the reading room, accompanied by Edwin who was carrying a tray of tea cups. Reno did not expect anything to happen while she was living in the kitchen. The women were relieved to see Reno and Edwin coming. They rushed to Reno, then Rosita asked her friends to calm down and not panic. Clearly, Rosita told me something that had just happened in the reading room. Reno and Edwin listened enthusiastically to Rosita's explanation.

"Now Mr. Dimas is chasing Nadine somewhere. They both seem to just disappear" said Rosita.

"I knew. They must have gone to the basement on a secret passage. Edwin, you take care of these women, I'll soon follow Dimas into the basement!" reno's orders.

Edwin nodded. Reno immediately headed for the secret passage that connected with the underground passageway. He must immediately provide assistance to Dimas who is pursuing Nadine.

Dimas was alert down the dark hall in front of him, while shining the flashlight he was carrying. As usual, the hallway always looks dark and damp. Besides, the atmosphere is very quiet. So quickly Nadine disappeared, because she had already mastered the cracks in the hallway. Dimas be as careful as possible, because bad things can happen at any time. He does not want to be careless in the least, because it will be fatal as a result.

He continued to move forward, although he did not know where Nadine had escaped. Dimas always felt hate when required to go down into this basement. This room is always covered in a lot of horror, because too many murders are happening here. Not only in the past, but every case that happened in the castle, always took a lot of lives.

While in another hallway in the same basement, Nadine felt safe. It moved quickly leaving Dimas down the winding passageway. He no longer needs to use lighting tools because he has memorized every turn and curve of the hallway. His goal is the room where Mariah is held captive, because he keeps a gun that he managed to take from Jeremy in the room.

It did not take long, he had arrived at the room where Mariah was held captive. However, he was very surprised, because he found the door of the room had been opened by force. Even more furious, he found Mariah who was not in place. Jeremy was still on the floor motionless.

"Aargh!"

Nadine was strangled in annoyance. Though the main plan was to kill Mariah, but the plan failed because Mariah was not in place. Still confused, who freed Mariah? Soon he picked up the gun he had stored in a crack behind a wall, then checked the bullet inside.

"Please find me Dimas motherfucker! This three-grain bullet will soon pierce your head, and I will be the winner in this game. Check Mat! You're all gonna die. I won't let any of you get away from me. It won't! You'll be proud of me, holy. I'll take all your heartache. I'm gonna finish them all off. You'll be proud, Holy!"

Nadine started to mess up. In his heart still blazing a burning grudge that he wanted to immediately vent to avenge himself on Saints. After the preparation with the gun was done, he immediately put on gloves, stepping out of the cubicle. He intended to hunt down Dimas with a gun he carried.

He stepped out of the room, but just a few steps he walked, suddenly he felt a sharp object stuck to his neck, while he could feel the sound of someone breathing so close to his ear.

"Follow me and don't talk too much!"
