Murder In The Old Castle

Official invitation letter from the police has been officially circulated to all those suspected as suspects. Again, the invitation became the subject of conversation among students directly involved in the murders of Jenny and Alma. They agreed to gather once again at the campus park to discuss the isolation invitation.

“So for a while we're off college huh. I think it's good, to know who is really behind all this mess,” said Rasty.

“But disrupt our lecture activities doong,” suluk Lena.

“Halah! So-so, your college. Usually also malesan like that!” said Rasty.

Paras Adinda looked worried. Likewise, the face of Alex, as if something is blocking the mind. Rasty noticed that level change quickly.

“You why Din? Not willing to meet that invitation?” ask Rasty.

“It's not like that either. I just have a plan to return to the village next week. My mom said it hurt so I went home. I'm just worried that if this isolation process lasts a long time, then I have to postpone returning home,” sigh Adinda.

“Same. I should be taking care of my visa next week and all sorts of things before my departure for Germany. All my plans are delayed because of this crazy business,” complained Alex.

“Neither of you have any important business. We all have important business. But I think we should take the time to uncover all these mysteries that drive us crazy. So stop complaining like a spoiled child. Let's face this and we find the culprit!” furious Rudi.

“I agree. We can't dodge. We'd better accept what the police have decided for no reason. We will be falsely accused as real suspects if we avoid all this" added Rasty.

Miranti was silent. He also felt upset, but not because of an invitation from the police. What makes him upset are some mysterious messages containing death threats against him. He did not dare to tell his friends that, because he assumed that one of them was the killer.

“What about Gerry and Ferdy? Did they also get the same invitation?” ask Rudi again.

“Until now Gerry's fate is unknown. We don't know where he is. Ferdy got the same invitation. All got the same treatment. So let's wait for a new chapter of the case!” said Rasty.

All are silent in their minds.

“Are we going to leave together or like what?” ask Adinda.

“Of course not! We'll leave in person, then meet at the police station. We're going somewhere not mentioned. I'm really curious. I hope it's not a terrible place. Hopefully this will be a fun holiday for me!” please Rasty.

“Or the opposite? What if the killer went crazy and then took us out one by one in that isolation place?” ask Alex.

“Police must have set up a strict security system. We don't have to worry!” rasty said again.

“If anyone is killed again in isolation then I swear I will run away and will not go back there. I think this isolation is a waste of time!” complained Alex.

“Silence Alex! Just follow the rules. Okay well? Don't try to break the rules. If anyone is killed first, I hope it is someone who deserves to die!” said Rudi.

“Dear to speak, Rud! Who among us deserves to die?” Rasty started to get emotional.

“Maybe you deserve to die, Race!” grin Rudi.

“Bad you, Rud! You still blame me for Jenny's death?” ask Rasty again.

“What is clear is I never want to trust you Race! I lost Jenny and Nayya at once. It hurts so much to me!” said Rudi.

“And you think I have something to do with them?” Rasty's getting inflamed.

“Enough!” Suddenly Miranti was angry. He stood up while putting on a riled up look.

“This debate is pointless! Stop everyone! I'm sick of your childish behavior!”

Miranti immediately left the meeting, followed by Lena.

“All of you are absolutely disgusting!” Adinda blasphemes.

He also passed from that place, followed by Alex. Only Rasty and Rudi stayed in the park that was not as crowded. They were silent to each other, not daring to look at each other.

“I'm sorry. I was too emotional. You're correct. I deserve to die!”

Rasty only glanced at Rudi, then left him alone.

Cold air pierced the skin, breaking through to the walls of the apartment. Nayya curled up on the sofa withstanding the increasingly gripping cold, making Gerry feel pity. The young man opened the closet, looking for something that could be used to envelop Nayya's body that was beginning to shiver.

“I'm fine, Ger! You do not need to bother,” said Nayya.

“But ... “

“Already! I'm okay,” said Nayya.

The girl then tried to sit down and lean on the sofa. Thought glaring. Apparently he was beginning to despair. Looks like the way out of the apartment is completely dead-end. Gerry goes to the kitchen to find something to eat. Stomach feels sore pinching. Unfortunately he could only find a box of teabags, sugar setoples, and a water flask.

“What's wrong,” murmured.

He picked up the pot and started boiling water. Suddenly in his mind came something that made him excited.

“Are we going to be able to stay alive or even die?” asked Nayya in a weak tone.

“Could have been Nayya. Don't despair, yeah. We certainly can. I have a new plan to get out of this apartment. I'm sure, surely this will work,” said Gerry.

“What's on your mind? Are you going to scorch this place again?” ask Nayya.

“No Nay! It's simpler, but it still has something to do with fire. It might be a small possibility, but there's no harm in trying. We have to try everything,” Gerry said.

“What's your plan? Poisoning tea to give to that demon human?”

“Of course not. There's no poison here. I'll boil a lot of water, then I put it in a flask. Later if he comes I will splash into his body.”

“I'm not sure, Ger. We don't know when he'll come. Maybe your water is cold,” said Nayya.

“Yes we don't know for sure. But he's always here to deliver food for us. If it wasn't day and night, he would be here. I'll be ready before that. What say?” ask Gerry.

“We won't know before trying. But okay. Let's just try. So what should I do?”

“Maybe you should try to attract his attention by chatting or throwing a tantrum, after which he will approach silently and splash this water on his face or other parts of his body. After that we snatch the key from his hand.”

“It doesn't seem that easy, Ger. He will bring a weapon that can hurt us anytime,” said Nayya.

“Tak what Nay. What's important is that we try. Even if we are killed, at least we do not die in vain, because we have tried to fight. I myself am also pessimistic about whether we can survive. But we can't be quiet,” said Gerry.

“You're right.” Nayya sighed. He looked down in despair.
