Nayya slid her head down on her knees, while Gerry stood staring out the window. From that window he looked at the atmosphere of the city that was not too busy. He's restless. What exactly was the hidden intent of the murderous figure kidnapping her?
“We can't keep quiet, Nayya. We must try to get out of the clutches of that lunatic!” gerry said as he continued to look out the window.
“I agree. But how? He is very cunning and does not hesitate to kill anyone who obstructs his plan. You know, he killed an innocent woman in Kampung Hitam.”
“Yes, I know also heard the news. I've guessed that the murders in Kampung Hitam have something to do with the murders of Jenny and Alma. He also killed a policewoman who was escorting me. Apparently he's really reckless.”
Gerry turned his back, then looked around the whole apartment room. He was looking for something that might be used as a weapon or tool to get out of the apartment.
“I've been looking for something in this room, but there's nothing to use to escape. The psychopath has been deliberately to keep us away from any object,” said Nayya.
“There must be a way. Looks like we should be more creative, Nayya!” said Gerry.
“Creative how do you mean? Isn't there nothing here that can be used for creative?” ask Nayya.
“I was thinking of seeking help from outside Nayya. Maybe if we ourselves can't. We have to figure out a way for someone to know that we are being held captive here,” Gerry continued.
“What do you think? Are you going to scream so loud? Or stand on that narrow balcony waving your hands, hoping someone sees?” ask Nayya.
“Not. It's not like that, Nay. We need to think of a smarter way. Here we have no tools anything, except that stove.”
Gerry pointed at the stove in the kitchen. Nayya immediately guessed what was on Gerry's mind. Unfortunately, he had doubts about what Gerry was thinking.
“You mean ... we will use that fire to escape this place?” ask Nayya.
“Yes. I have a plan related to fire,” said Gerry.
“Don't tell me you're going to burn this room down, Ger!” Nayya started to worry.
“To be honest, that's what's in my brain right now Nayya. But you don't have to worry. I guarantee everything will be safe. We're not going to make a big fire, we're just going to make smoke rise from the window, and bring the fire closer to the fire indicator, so the fire alarm goes off. We made the whole apartment panicked, and thought there was a fire. I'm sure the firemen will come and break down the apartment door, so we can escape this place. What say?” gerry asked with sparkling eyes.
“Entai Ger! I ... I only doubt. Afraid that the psychopath might come suddenly!”
“Not possible! He must be busy at the moment. We'll make this plan quickly. The fire alarm will go off quickly. I'm sure there will be people helping us, even before the firemen come.”
“What if this attempt fails? You have a second plan?”
“We try Nay first! If it fails, that's business. What's important is that we try this first. If it fails, for example firefighters do not come here or the fire alarm does not sound, we just extinguish the smoke. I know that psychopath will be very angry. I don't think he's going to kill us fast, before the plan is done,” Gerry said.
In the end Nayya nodded while saying softly,”Alright. I'm following your plan.”

The successive murder events that occurred later, made Reno a little depressed. He seemed to be pondering, thinking about what steps to take to subdue the killer who felt slippery like an eel. Admittedly, the killer did everything neatly, without leaving any clues.
One dark afternoon, Reno took the time to enjoy a cup of coffee at a cafe. He hasn't done that in a long time. In the past, almost every night he went to his cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee with a little sugar favorite. The time has now come for a serial murder case that forces him to remain vigilant.
“This case sometimes makes me very tired, and I want to retreat,” Reno said while staring at Dimas.
“You gave up because Fani died?” ask Dimas.
“One of them yes. I feel like I failed. The killer keeps moving, outwitting us. It even seems he knows whatever we're doing. He's like a ghost that can come and go freely, while we just keep silent like two fools who know nothing,” Reno lamented.
“Stop weakening yourself, Ren! If you step back from this case, I'll move forward. I'll prove to the police that I was able to uncover this case.”
Reno mangosteen-maggut heard the words Dimas. He refocused on Jenny's diary he was opening.
“There's a new lead on it?” ask Dimas.
“The idea is almost all about the turmoil of young people. I don't really like reading like this. The record in August was filled with turmoil. It looks like Jenny met someone who made her upset, but she can't have because she already has a boyfriend,” Reno said.
“How is the sentence?”
“I read it! August 19th, I looked into his hateful eyes. The look in his eyes was like shredding my sanity. I know I'm wrong, but how can I avoid this? I know he's angry. May he forgive me.”
Reno stopped her sentence.
“So who do you think is meant?”
“Entahlah. It could be Rudi, Rasty, or someone else. The data I obtained, at that time Rudi was dating Rasty. That's why Rasty harbors hatred for Jenny. But it doesn't seem like a strong alibi that Rasty was the perpetrator of Jenny's murder,” Reno said.
“How about Rudi? Do we need to do surveillance?”
“Rudi could be a strong suspect. But I haven't been able to find an alibi for Alma's murder. Why did he kill Alma too? Why is he hiding Nayya? Then Gerry disappeared too. Don't you think all this looks like a tangled thread?”
“I'm sure, the motive for this murder is motivated by romance problems. I think the suspected killer is not only male, but female as well. It could be someone who harbors deep jealousy, darkens eyes, then does crazy things. Remember the Old Castle case! Who would have thought a girl as gentle as Tiara could commit such a heinous murder?” dimas.
Reno frowned. He continued reading Jenny's diary,
“2 September, we meet again secretly, despite the fire of anger around us. I have to decide something difficult. I don't want to hurt anyone. That was Jenny's writing in early September. Do you think these writings have anything to do with his death?” said Reno.
“Sure Yes, Ren. We can record what Jenny felt months before her death. Maybe we can see his writings in December. I also checked Jenny's social media, but you know, when I checked yesterday it was deactivated, and I couldn't access it at all.” Dimas said.
“So who deactivated the account? Ghost Jenny?”
“Certainly not. Someone who is close to him and knows his social media password,” said Dimas.
“Let's investigate further!”
