Gerry stood up with his heart pounding violently. His eyes looked towards the frightened Nayya. He did not expect that the figure would kill him, with Gerry as an intermediary. Gerry actually wanted to blow the gun towards the figure's head, but he felt the sharpness of the dagger in the neck pressing down. He could only hold his breath.

“You can do it, right? Pretty easy. You just need to point the gun towards the girl's head, pull the trigger and boom!! Task finished. That easy. When you're done, I'll give you a ticket to get out of this apartment. I'll take care of the body. So soon we finish this business,” said the figure.

“I ... I cannot,” murmured Gerry weakly.

“You promised Ger! Abstinence for a man to break his promise. So I will wait until you fulfill your promise.”

Gerry could say nothing. He could not imagine if the gun actually exploded in Nayya's head. He will feel guilty for life, and will not be able to forgive his stupidity. On the other hand, he did not want to die just like that, in order to satisfy the desire to kill the psychopath. Everything that happens is like a fruit. He doesn't know what to do.

“OK .. okay. Tell you what, I'll execute the girl before your eyes. What say?” ask that figure.

“No!” push Gerry fast.

“Why? What's the importance of that girl to you? Isn't she your boyfriend? Nor did he know her. No effect when he dies.” The figure kept chirping.

“Dia .. she's human too. He didn't deserve to die,” Gerry said.

The figure laughed at Gerry's words, while grinning.

“We are not talking about humanitarian issues here. This is not a lesson about morality. To hell with humanity. Who said he didn't deserve to die? We are talking about justice that has long since died. Now it's time for everything he does to be paid off today!” say that figure.

“Justice according to whom? You think right?”

Gerry tried to keep buying time by inviting the figure to continue talking.

“I don't want to argue! If you can't kill him. Then I will do!” say that figure.

Suddenly, Nayya interrupted the conversation. He tried to open his voice.

“OK .. okay! I-i understand. This grudge is just one of our own, and there's no need to involve him. So we'll just finish this together. Let him go!” nayya.

“Oh, it turns out you guys are protecting each other? All right then. Apparently you two don't want to see anyone die. In fact, the initial scenario is not so. Lookie! You guys have fucked this apartment. You two are quite troublesome. I think one of you should have died!”

Suddenly the figure snatched the gun from Gerry's hand, then pointed it at Nayya, then changed towards Gerry.

“Who wants to die first? I think the bullet in this gun is a grain. This one will be very valuable. I have to choose which of you should die!” say that figure.

The mood turned tense. Gerry and Nayya looked at each other, waiting for the seconds of who among them would be executed first.

Duk ... duk .. duk!

Suddenly the door was knocked . Suddenly the figure felt riled up. Gerry and Nayya simultaneously heaved a sigh of relief. They were hoping someone could help them get out of the apartment.

He rushed towards the door, telling Gerry and Nayya,”Don't act stupid!”

The figure opened the door a little, then found a foreign woman he had never seen before. The woman was carrying a package wrapped in a black plastic bag.

“What's up?” ask that figure.

“There are posts make .... “

The woman took out the package she was carrying, then showed the name of the purpose to the figure.

“Oh yes, it's me! Who is this post from?” answer that figure.

The woman shook her head quickly, then passed from before the figure, before getting a thank you. The figure was astonished. Why was there such a strange package addressed to him? What'sthat's it?

Reno and Dimas walked down a narrow unpaved street, then stopped in front of a large two-story house located on a hill surrounded by lush trees. From the direction of the highway, this mansion was nowhere to be seen. The entrance is a small walkway they just walked through.

The house is of Dutch architecture, with three large pillars on the veranda, and large shuttered windows. The haunted impression immediately broke out when they had just set foot there.

“This is Mr.'s resting house. Jan Pieter, a Dutch native who was married in colonial times. For years the house was abandoned. This house was passed down to their only child, Katrina. Katrina chose to return to the Netherlands, then the house was taken care of by a hired person Katrina. Well, I happen to know that rental guy. Mr. Paiman. I plan to rent this abandoned building as a place of isolation for people we suspect are serial killers,” Reno said.

“Wah, I agree Ren! With isolation it's easier for us to investigate. It reminds me a little of the old castle.”

“Well, we're gonna drag those students down to stay here for a few days, then we'll see what happens. Whether the murder still happened or not. This is our attempt to break the deadlock of the case. I guess the culprit was one of them. All the murders that occurred, be it Jenny, Alma, Tari, and Fani are related.”

“I agree. All the killing boils down to one person. Maybe yes, initially Jenny's murder did have a specific motive. So does Alma. But the murder of Tari and Fani was an unplanned murder. The two poor women were in the wrong place and time, so they became victims,” said Dimas.

“What about Gerry and Nayya? You have a theory?”

“Nayya was kidnapped after shopping from the supermarket, and until now her fate has not been known. So did Gerry. I wish both were alive. My motive is not yet known what. What is clear is that the killer is moving to kill anyone involved in his life cycle. This afternoon I plan to open up all the social media that has to do with those students. Sometimes we can extract important information from social media" Dimas said.

“Yes, great idea. My detective instincts are starting to strengthen. The killer will not be able to grumble. I'm sure, in the near future we can bend it. Hopefully no more victims fall after this,” said Reno.

“OK. Then let's meet Mr. Paiman. He lives behind this old house right?”

“Iya. He lives with his wife, Ms. Mariyati, behind this house. Let's go there to talk about this!”

The two walked around the house, heading towards another smaller house a bit to the back of the main building. Their goal is to temporarily borrow this old house for temporary isolation as the murder suspects, so that the murders don't happen again out there.
