Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
282. The Revenge of Bu Mar

The morning drove away from the night, the sun peeking timidly from behind the clouds hanging in the eastern sky. The silent night passed safely, nothing significant happened. No one knew that Gilda had disappeared from her room, because no one cared. The residents continued to carry out activities as usual.

Breakfast went on as usual. They don't talk much, feel grateful for having passed the night comfortably. Last night, each of them fell asleep in a dream, unknowingly with what was happening around. The incident that happened to Widya seemed forgotten, and they did not want to remember it again.

"I miss Widya" whispered Riky to Thunder who was sitting next to her.

"Are you serious? I see that you don't care about him much" Sunding Thunder.

"Not caring doesn't mean I don't think about it. What happened to him was a shocking thing. Widya is very unfortunate, doing such foolish actions just because of trivial problems .... "

"It's not a trivial matter, Rik! You don't understand the girl's feelings. But .. I think it's pretty reckless too. Sometimes my attitude is a bit outrageous to her, but this is not without reason. He sometimes checks the drawer of my desk, then asks about this-that.  Of course it makes me angry. Everyone will be angry when the secret of his life is tampered with" said Guntur.

"I don't! Widya can know my ugliness and she knows it, without any objection. You're overreacting, Gun!"

Thunder fell silent, while smiling cynically. He stuck a fork in the piece of meat stew on his plate, then put it in his mouth. He was a little upset that morning. Meanwhile, Riky was seen acting cold that morning, enjoying breakfast gracefully, as if without burden. Even how to take a drink was done slowly, every small movement seemed meaningful.

Ammar observed every small movement the inhabitants made that morning. His tanned eyeballs moved to the right and left, recording everything in his brain. On the other side of the table was Ollan who spread a smile to everyone present. The parasites were happy, without exuding the slightest fear. He was like an artist who met his packer, so Henry grinned himself at that.

"You sleep well Ollan?" asked Dimas while putting a mouthful into his mouth.

"Very, Sir! I want to share with you the story that last night was the best night for me, after the previous nights I was gripped with fear and discomfort. So I guess you should be grateful to be in this house of isolation. I enjoyed the view!" ollan's Story.

"Is there anyone who can't sleep tonight?"

Reno threw a question, while looking at all the eyes present at the dining table. Everyone there looked at each other, shaking their heads. Rianti also looked calmer on her face, while Laura could only smile.

"Can you ask me, sir?" asked Thunder suddenly.

"Please, Gun. What are you going to ask?"

"Why don't you see that beautiful journalist? Where's she? Did he come home early?" ask Thunder.

Reno smiled then nodded. He glanced at Dimas and said, "Don't worry about him! He had to return to the city because of work. Why are you asking about Gilda?"

"Oh, no! I'm just asking!" replied Thunder while blushing in shame.

"Is Widya going to be okay, sir?" ask Riky suddenly.

"Yes, I think he'll be fine, even if he loses a lot of blood. If only yesterday we were late to find him, he might not be helped. You guys doalaknsaja so that Widya immediately recover, and immediately move as usual," replied Reno.

"So ... What exactly made him want to kill himself, sir?" Riky kept asking.

"We're still going through it, and you don't have to worry. We just told you that you should raise your guard, because the perpetrator of the murder is still wandering around us, and exploiting the negligence. So anywhere, you have to be careful!" message Reno.

"Well, why Widya, sir? Yeah, I haven't seen him since yesterday?" ask Ollan suddenly.

"Alright, Ollan! You better enjoy what's here!" cut Dimas's.

"Yes, inform after this breakfast, around 9am, you all gather in the front room. We'll ask you one by one about Widya. Make sure you are all present, as this is very important!" added Reno.

***

He felt angry and irritated because he was now in a slightly muddled well, with ants wandering around and millipedes straddling the walls of the mossy well. In his heart he was upset with Wandi who could not be with him. However, he could not also blame Wandi considering that the man had a task that could not be postponed. The only thing he could do was just resign, dwelling in boredom in that hole.

Before long, he saw a middle-aged woman approaching the mouth of the well, while carrying a packet of food wrapped in paper, as well as a bottle of drinking water. He tried to see Gilda's presence in the well.

"Mom! Is Gilda's mom inside?" call the middle-aged woman.

"Yes, Ma Mar! I'm right here!" answer Gilda.

In his heart, suddenly there was a deep sense of regret, because yesterday he could beat the hammer with a frying pan until unconscious. However, it was as if the woman had no grudge against him, regardless of what Bu Mariyati's heart was made of.

"I brought some food and drinks for Ma'am Gilda! Get it Ma'am!"

Ms. Mariyati dropped food parcels and drink bottles into the well. Gilda immediately caught him. He is sure, Miss Mariyati is a surrogate of Reno or Dimas. However, the policemen could not bear to leave him in the dark hole alone. Gilda herself actually regretted, for forcing her into the house of isolation. As a result, he was completely isolated, not only inside the house, but completely in a dark hole without any facilities.

The presence of Bu Mariyati on the well, immediately made Gilda brain-minding creative. In his mind right now it is clear how he got out of this hole by using the help of Bu Mariyati. Actually he was not sure that Bu Mar would help, because yesterday alone, Bu Mar refused to cooperate, so Gilda became anxious and smashed a pan into Bu Mar's head.

"Eh, Miss Mar! Who's up there?" ask Gilda.

"Only alone, Mother! Why?" answer Ms. Mariyati.

"Anu, Mum. Miss Mar will know in this hole a lot of dangerous animals, later if I was bitten how? Here.the air is also stuffy, if the day is hot, if the night is cold. Masa Bu Mar could have told me to be alone in this hole. Later if there is anything, Miss Mar is also blamed. Help me out, Miss Mar to get out of here. I will get some rewards later. Want it, Mom?"

Gilda began to launch her sweet mouth to Bu Mariyati. Actually, Ms. Mariyati had pondered too, because she could not bear to see the glaring face of Gilda, as if asking for help. A moment later he nodded with a smile.

"My head still hurts from the punch of the skillet. Please enjoy it, because it is a good price for you!"

Ms. Mariyati stepped away leaving the angry and upset Gilda. He knew that revenge was not a good thing, but once he taught a man like Gilda the lesson she needed.
