369. Towards the Tunnel
Juned and Jeremy are ready for supplies, before the two decide to enter the tunnel that connects the forest. Their mission that day was twofold: to find Niken and Ryan. However, Jeremy secretly has his own mission to find Stella. Before leaving, they sat on the front porch, hearing a little briefing from Reno.
"You don't have to force yourself to find Niken and Ryan. Forest conditions are also as unsafe as the condition of the castle. So if it's late in the afternoon you haven't met them, go back to the castle immediately. Don't force yourself. Stay alert, don't let your guard down. We'll keep our guard around the castle, since we've been eyeing one name, only we haven't been able to publish it yet. Remember, don't harm yourself!" message Reno.
"We'll be back before dark. The forest is vast to explore, but we will focus around tunnels, waterfalls and old cottages. If we don't find them, then we'll be right back" Juned said.
"You've brought a self-protection kit?" ask Reno.
Juned smiled as he opened his vest. Behind the vest was a 9 mm G2 Elite pistol commonly used by police. Juned was quite skilled at using firearms, so he felt very confident showing off what he was carrying. Reno smiled back while nodding, then turned to look at Jeremy.
"Juned will protect you if there's anything. Don't worry!" reno.
Jeremy who doesn't have a gun can only nod. In such a case, he entrusted his fate completely to Juned. After the briefing was over, they immediately moved towards the reading room, as Juned argued that the tunnel was closer to being traveled through the reading room. They would enter the basement through the secret door that was in the reading room.
However, just stepping about to go to the reading room, Ammar saw them with a face that showed anger.
"You guys seen Mariah?" ask Ammar.
"Mariah? We haven't seen anyone since. Maybe morning exercise or going for a walk" Reno said.
"That's impossible, Ren. I warned Mariah not to go out of the room for a while. I entered the room and found the bed still in a mess. Usually before he goes out he always tidies it up. The room was also unlocked, but I always told him to lock the room before leaving, because there were documents stored. This is even left that way, it is strange," said Ammar.
"Quiet Ammar. Cool out! someone must have been careless in his life. We'll find him around the castle first. It was possible that he was going backwards or in another room in this vast castle. You don't have to panic first. Okay well? Juned, Jeremy, you're leaving soon, it's noon. Let's get in trouble in this castle we take care of!" reno.
Juned and Jeremy nodded. They immediately left Ammar and Reno, heading for the reading room. While Reno and Ammar immediately rushed to comb through the rooms in the castle.

Mariah felt wry.he was again forced to explore a narrow hallway that was bounded by steel-door rooms around him. He stepped slowly, while the figure behind him was stalking with the threat of a knife stuck to his back. Mariah's lips twitched. The leaves of the past that are so bitter one by one appear without being able to hold. He had felt for days held captive in one of the rooms in this basement in a state of starvation. He still remembered how harsh treatment he had received for days, to the point of breaking his mentality.
"Where are we going?" ask Mariah.
"Just don't ask too many questions, and you'll know where we're going!" answer the figure in a cold tone.
Mariah nodded slowly. He just followed where his feet were. This dark passageway in the basement made his stomach nauseous. Even the foul and stuffy smell in this hallway reminded him of how he went through a difficult time when he was held captive.
"Why are you doing this?" ask Mariah later.
"Why do you think?" The figure asked back.
"You know, Saints aren't as bad as you think. She's a good girl and not a vengeful one. He doesn't want you to do any of this. The Saints will be very disappointed to see you slaughter your own friends. Do you think the Saints will be satisfied with what you're doing? Nah! He'll be mad. You are in the Holy Name to do all this. This is not fair at all!" mariah.
"Shut up! Know what you're about Saints? I know him better and I know how he feels, so never teach me. You better shut up. You must all pay for all the ill-treatment you have done in the past. You have absolutely no idea what Holy feels!" deny that figure.
"You forgot I was a psychic? I can feel. The Holy Spirit has calmed down, but you made him curious again. You better stop this adventure and give up. I'm sure, it would be better than you forcing it to satisfy your ambitions" Mariah continued.
Mariah felt a sharp object attached to her back getting stronger piercing, until she felt pain. Mariah held back the taste while biting her lips. He was trying to stay calm.
"I won't hesitate to finish you, Mariah! You're the one responsible for all this, because you're the leader of the gang. You can stop the bad treatment your members do if you want. But there you just keep quiet, let all the evil happen in plain sight. You're more vile than them. Yes, I did act badly to the Saints as well, but it was just my mask in front of you, so that I could enter your world. The Saints know that!" whispered the figure in Mariah's ear.
Mariah was silent at the words of that figure. They stopped in front of a room that opened its door. However, before they did anything, suddenly from the direction of the other hallway came footsteps and the sound of people conversing. Mariah knew it was Juned and Jeremy's voice going into the tunnel.
"Toll .... "
Mariah had not had time to scream for help, her mouth was already smothered by that figure. Mariah was immediately pushed into the room, threatened.
"Once again you act foolish, then I will cut off your tongue! Good thing Tiara didn't pry your eyes out. Now I won't hesitate to cut off your tongue if you mess around!".
Mariah had to be silent. The footsteps of Juned and Jeremy moved away from the room where they were hiding. The figure was still brandishing a knife towards Mariah to prevent the woman from making a sound.
"Vote once more, then you'll be out today!"threaten that figure.
Meanwhile, Jeremy and Juned are still walking down the aisle, looking for a tunnel that connects with the forest. While walking, Juned sang a little to relieve the tension. However, Jeremy's steps suddenly came to a halt, while pointing the index finger in front of his mouth, hinting that Juned would not make a sound.
"I'm like hearing a female voice around here" Jeremy whispered.
"Female? I didn't hear anything! It's haunted here. Sometimes there are strange sounds. Let's get out of here quickly. I don't feel good!"
Juned sped up the steps to leave Jeremy, so inevitably Jeremy immediately followed Juned's steps to find the tunnel in question.
