Murder In The Old Castle

Murder In The Old Castle
377. Get lost

It was getting dark when Ryan's footsteps began to enter the waterfall area. The sound of water rumbling started to sound clear. Ryan's feelings were back in excitement. Looking at the waterfall, it was as if he got a collapsed durian. That means, he can return to the castle again. However, for a moment he stopped his steps, while looking up.

"It's getting dark and I don't have any lighting. I'll be at the castle by night. How huh? Continue or what?" muttered Ryan.

For a moment he was worried while thinking. He stood on the edge of the flowing river, while occasionally directing his gaze to the waterfall. Then he turned his gaze towards the darkening forest. Walking in the forest without lighting is certainly not an easy thing. Moreover, all places look the same. The path to the castle also has some branches, so Ryan began to doubt whether he could get to the castle or not. Even if he decided not to return to the castle, he also did not know where to go.

"When do you go back to the cottage?" said Ryan

After some thought, he decided to return to the castle even though it was dark. He thought that the cottage was also very creepy when night came. After all, he felt that the cottage was also not a safe place. He still felt traumatized when someone locked him into a room in the hut, then taken to the emergency tent again. Until now, he still does not know who actually took him to the emergency tent. But he already had his own conjecture, because he recognized the photo on the necklace with a heart, which he found in the makeshift tent.

After making up his mind, he began to step along the path he had once walked. He felt a bit creepy over the path that began to darken. The forest birds began to fly, and the insects also started to rattle. Ryan steeled his heart so as not to be afraid to pass the path in front of him. The beleaguered trees on his left and right made him even more worried. In his mind he started thinking strangely. This time it was not only the wild animals that scared her, but also the subtle creatures that she often saw in horror movies.

"Oh, fuck all that!" frangipani.

In his mind, he only wanted to get to the castle immediately, and confine himself in the room. He did not want to be involved in this case any further, even though he knew a lot of information related to everything. He decided to withdraw, hiding things he knew.

He kept going until he finally felt confused. He was not sure of the path he passed because the atmosphere was getting darker. He felt that he had gone the wrong way, because he could not see clearly around him. He should have reached the junction four before the waters fell, but why did it seem to have gone down a road he had never crossed?

"I can't panic. I have to find another way to get to the castle!" muttered Ryan.

The twilight is moving towards an increasingly concentrated night. Ryan was trapped in the quiet heart of the forest. He was still thinking hard how to get out of the forest as soon as possible. In the immortality of the mind, he continued to break through the thick bush, without knowing where else to go.

The sound of screaming in pain in the basement came from a room where Jeremy and Mariah were held captive. Jeremy had just regained consciousness from his stupor, but his condition was still weak. He found excruciating pain in his back, with blood continuing to pour. When he tried to move, he felt excruciating pain, so he shouted to vent the pain in his back.

All his bones felt stripped, his head was dizzy and clenched, but he forced him to stand by holding on to the wall. Although his gaze looked a bit blurred, he could still see the figure of a woman tied up in a chair with her mouth covered with plaster. He wanted to help, but it was hard to stand up. He was surprised when the face of the woman who was tied was very familiar.

"Ma-Ma ... Mariah?"

Jeremy's words were so weak, because his strength seemed to be drained. Mariah could only cry to see Jeremy's situation like that. He just hopes Jeremy can get up and untie his hands and feet. However, he is aware that Jeremy's condition is very unlikely.

"I-I'm .. I'll help you, Ma-Mariah!"

Jeremy stepped with great difficulty while holding onto the wall. His feet were glued to the ground, heavy to move. Mariah just shook her head, as if forbidding Jeremy from moving much. However, the gesture from Mariah was ignored by Jeremy. The man continued to approach Mariah despite her difficult circumstances.

Once close enough, Jeremy held onto Mariah's chair, panting. He hopes to survive despite losing a lot of blood. Jeremy's hand immediately pulled the plaster that covered Mariah's mouth, so that the woman could make a sound. As soon as it opened, Mariah immediately spoke.

"Dj .. Jer, you can't move much! You're gonna lose a lot of blood. You just sit down and we wait for help. We'll stay alive. I-i promise. I know who did all this. I know!" mariah said in a soft voice.

"Whoever did I .. I don't care, Mariah. I ... I just want to find Stella's whereabouts," Jeremy said with a breath of air.

"Jer, you don't have to talk. You have to keep your energy well. I'm sure someone will help us. The woman will not survive her crime. I'm sure it will be revealed soon" said Mariah.

Jeremy dropped himself on the floor, as he felt his head grow heavier, and his vision blurred. While enduring the pain, he tried to stay conscious. Mariah was right, she had to store energy because they couldn't be sure how long they would be in the cubicle.

"Defend, Jer! Don't die, please. We'll reveal the case. We are the key to this case. Hang in! We will stop the woman's crime" whispered Mariah as she continued to stare at Jeremy whose code was getting weaker.

"Enough Jer! Don't talk that non-no. You just rest. I'll try to scream .... "

Mariah used the remnants of her power to shout for help. Unfortunately, the sound that came out seemed to be stuck in the throat. Mariah could only regret while crying. He was upset with his weak and helpless self.

"No ... no! Please!"

Suddenly, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching their room. Mariah closed her mouth. He was worried, lest the black figure return again to check. Mariah's heart beat fast. The footsteps drew nearer, and were heard beginning to try to open the locked door. After a long while, the figure left, and returned again, forcibly opening the walled door.

Klang's!

The door to the room is open. Mariah's eyes widened. A black figure stood in front of the door of the room. Mariah can only pray in her heart that nothing bad happens to her and Jeremy, but she can only resign, because even rebelling will be in vain. The figure was still standing upright, staring intently at Mariah and then gazing towards Jeremy. He moved closer to Jeremy.

"Please don't kill him! Please!" mariah Pinta.

The figure just stared at Jeremy without making a sound, then stepped out of the room again, somewhere.
