CHAPTER 12: THE SCARY MOTHER

Aaron and Anna only listen to three adults' conversations about how to torture Rebecca and about Anna inheriting their family's cruelty. The twins are treated like they are invisible. The longer they stay and the longer they listen to their conversations, the more bored they become.

She looked into her brother's eyes as if communicating telepathically that they should get out of the living room before they died of boredom. Aaron just nodded, and the two of them stood up and went to Anna's room. Once there, Aaron lays down his body on Anna's soft bed while Anna just sits on her bed.

"Do you think you're considering using your old gang against Rebecca?" Anna asked her sister. The two brothers knew about the family they were doing behind the scenes. It still surprises them when they think that their sweet and gentle mother is an evil woman.

Both Anna and Aaron are only relieved that their mother is not like that to the two of them, but that does not mean that if they make a mistake, their mother will not like and will feel the anger of their mother.

But she couldn't help it when she saw her brother's face like that. Aaron is now traumatized by his experience with his mother. And now, the twins vow not to make their mother angry.

Aaron glared at his sister, who kept laughing at him and said. "You're so lucky you haven't experienced that hell." Aaron envies that Anna has not experienced the hell she has experienced. Sometimes he even wished that he should let his sister have that experience, at least once.

"Oh come! I went through mom's hell training, you know!"

"I experienced it too! And the exercise wasn't exactly the same as the pain of the day!" Aaron pouted, and Anna found it funny.

Anna and Aaron were trained on how to attack and defend themselves at a young age. Since their mother made many enemies in her day, it was no wonder that someone tried to harm them both. Their mother made sure that her twins would get hard training in order to be strong enough to deal with their problems when the time came.

In Anna's past life, she had always hated her training because she was against violence, and she would always try to escape from their training. But now, he felt it was thrilling for a reason. Don't you want to run it together?" anna said in a sad tone as she looked at Aaron's face. She wondered if her brother didn't want someone to compete with her for her rights.

"No, it's not like that. I remember you didn't want to get involved in any of this. What made you change your mind?"

"Well, I just realized that my current way of life is too boring, so I just wanted to add a little thrill to my life, you know." He said in what tone it was.

This time it was their mother's turn to pout. "What's? You want something like your brother did a year ago?" Their mother's tone of voice was clearly tarnished by aggravation and anger, which made the twins flinch. 'Good work pisses mom off, Anna!' aaron said in his heart.

"Haha! Nah! Of course not, Mom! Not like that!" Anna waved both of her hands as she denied her mother's understanding of what she had just said. He was not ready to face his mother's anger.

"It's better that way." After their mother says that she left and closes Anna's door, Anna and Aaron both sigh.

'Mom is so scary!' They both said inwardly and still felt intimidated by their mother's presence earlier.
