CHAPTER 57: NOT KNOWING WHAT IS GOOD FOR THEMSELVES

"Hey, what's going on there?" Zen asked Nathalia and Aaron. He and Josh are coming from their classroom booth. They come to visit Anna and the others, but when they enter Anna's classroom booth they see a group of people. Zen was curious because he could not really see what was happening there so he decided to ask Nathalia and Aaron.

"I don't know." Aaron says, based on his tone it's clear that Aaron doesn't really know what's going on and he doesn't plan to know it unless his beloved sister is involved.

"Hmm okay." Zen looked around as he tried to find someone, "Where's Anna?" She asked.

"Hm... I think he's behind the booth to rest" Nathalia said. The last time she heard Anna tell her that she had to rest behind the booth.

As they passed by the group of people, the four of them suddenly heard something that shocked them, especially Aaron.

"Misunderstanding? Is threatening me and trying to molest the young miss of the Coleman family a misunderstanding? I think it's very clear to me that it's not a misunderstanding."

The voice was obviously a man's voice, but it did not concern Aaron for now what surprised him the most was what the man had just claimed. 'Try to molest young Miss Coleman's family?'

Someone actually dared to touch his beloved sister?! Aaron was furious, he pushed himself through the crowd and he pulled his sister behind him. Everyone was shocked by Aaron's sudden appearance especially Anna, he was even more shocked than everyone here.

In his past life, this scene never happened he wondered what actions made this situation turn into a drastic change from his past life? First, he never expected Kyle Robertson to suddenly appear in front of him and defend himself from those old fellows and secondly, the sudden appearance of his older brother was also something he never expected. He kept remembering what he was doing that drastically changed everything.

"What do you dare do to my sister?" Aaron's tone of voice was so clear to everyone that he was angry. So angry that he wanted to strangle these two old men until they died, but luckily for these two old men Aaron couldn't do it they were in public and it really wasn't a good idea to strangle them. Her mother would definitely scold her, but she was quite certain that her mother would do more than what she had planned for these two parents.

"Young master, Aaron..." The old men recognized Aaron very well because they had worked under Aaron's grandfather. They had seen Aaron when Marcus Coleman brought Aaron into one of their meetings the other day.

The spectators looked at the two old men with pity and they had already predicted that they would not live in a luxurious life tomorrow because they had angered the young master of the Coleman family.

"W-we didn't do anything like that..." The old man tried to defend himself by saying that he did not do it which would not actually work.

"Are you saying that my words are just a bluff?" Kyle asked in an indifferent tone. Kyle who comes from a very strong family has no reason to bully something he is unsure of and most people will believe him because his family is known to extract the truth in people in what way pun. So, if these two parents knew what was good for them, they should not lie because whatever their dirty secrets were, it would definitely be exposed, no matter what.

"I... K-we..." The old man could not finish his sentence. It was true that they did not have the chance to touch a single strand of hair on Anna, but that did not change the fact that they had tried to do so and they were caught off guard by Kyle; there is no way out for them. They wanted to beg for forgiveness but because of their pride, they did not. They never apologized to anyone and it would only destroy their self-esteem.

Aaron looked at them contemptuously, 'It seems they don't know what's good for themselves.' "Hmph! Elder or not, I have no respect for someone who dares to hurt my family. Let's see what happens to you two tomorrow." After saying that Aaron grabbed his sister's hand and dragged her along with him to get out of this place.

As she was dragged away by her sister, Anna, looking back at Kyle, she felt a little guilty as she looked at him; she had no chance to say 'thank you' to him.

As Anna is being dragged away by her brother, Anna looks back at him and their eyes meet. Kyle looked at the guilt in his eyes which made him confused. Why is he looking at her like that? For him, there was nothing to blame because he did nothing. In reality, he was a victim.

Seeing her getting away from him, he felt something he could not describe and at the same time, he also wanted to be around her instead of away from her. He looks so fragile that he needs to be protected by it. Maybe that was why he wanted to be around her, to protect her fragile self.
