CHAPTER 76: NOTHING IS FREE

"What are you doing in my room?" Aaron asked his sister who had just walked into his room.

"I'm having a nightmare, brother. Let me sleep with you." Anna said as she held a large pillow in her arm and acted funny.

Aaron looked at her indifferently, this younger brother growing bolder with his request from her. Somehow she somewhat missed Anna who was always shy and had trouble making her request, but this Anna in front of her was completely different from what she remembered. But then again, it was all just her wishful thinking; she liked her sister's way now more than ever. With this, no one would look down on him anymore and now he had a better judgment to make with others.

"The nightmare of your eyes." He sneered then added, "Go to your room, Anna. You're old enough to handle nightmares if you've had them." Aaron is too tired to play with Anna today and he has to rest enough for tomorrow. His mother had given him his first mission; a mission to eliminate certain government officials. The person uses his position as an official to threaten and take money from the people, of course the people cannot fight because of his background.

Anna was supposed to come with him, but Anna directly rejected him without hesitation. In Aaron's conjecture, it looks like Anna is still fixated on their uncle's assistant, Fonso. He wondered how long this suspicion his sister had would last. This suspicion was simply a waste of Anna's time.

"Alright, I won't bother you anymore, but let me say this; don't get hurt, big brother and don't act recklessly anyone else cares about you, like me, so please don't make us worry about you," said Anna in a serious tone. Anna recalls from her past life about her brother's first mission and in that mission, she is locked up in a hospital for her carelessness. She wanted to come with her brother just to not let him do reckless things, but circumstances did not allow her, the only thing she could do was remind her brother for her sake.

After saying that, Anna left her sister's room; although she felt she had to nag her more, she didn't have time, she also needed a break for tomorrow. Anna is about to start her own investigation of the assistant.

While lying on the bed, Aaron muttered, "Of course, brother."

At the same time at Blue Moon Studio, Elina was preparing everything Alfonso needed for tomorrow's meeting with a client and at the same time she was planning how to handle her baby, she said, but no matter how many plans he made it would always end up with the idea of failure. It was hard for him to get close to the baby if there was someone else surrounding the damn insect!

Surprised, Elina looked at the man who had just spoken. He looked straight into his eyes and what he saw from those eyes was truly terrifying, shivering down through his spine. He could not believe there was a demon-like man like him living in this world.

"W-what are you talking about? I don't have such thoughts!" shouted Elina. If this guy knows what he really wants, then this means he's bad news. He might spoil the image he had carefully portrayed in front of Alfonso. He doesn't want that! It was fine for him to act cruel to others, but in front of Alfonso? He can't! He really can't!

"Miss, you think you can fool me? I've been watching you all this time since you heard the news of Alfonso getting a son. You hate her son and mother, I can definitely help you get rid of them."

"Nothing is free in this world, what do you want instead?" There was no point playing around with this man in front of him. Elina had noticed his every move and heard his every word ever since he spoke to her. From his point of view, he was seriously helping her, but this suspicious stranger wanted to help her all of a sudden. They don't even know each other, or rather he's the only one who knows her and it's clear he's done a thorough background check on her.

"You're right, nothing is free in this world. But I'm doing this just for my own pleasure, so my help is free." Hearing those words from her, Elina was now convinced that this man was no ordinary man. He wanted to help her because he just wanted to have fun? What is the fun of getting rid of those pests? Of course he would be happy about that, but why is he related to all this? That was the question inside his head as he faced the stranger in front of him.

"Why do you want to get involved with me?" He exclaimed.

The stranger looked at him and laughed wickedly. Elina was startled by her sudden laughter, she was not sure what was funny about her question. "Who knows? Only God knows what my real reason for all this is." After he said his part, he left the place without looking back, but there was a grin plastered on his face.

'Hmm... Alfonso, I wonder what kind of reaction you will get when your son arrives dead.'
