"When can you meet this 'very pretty' girl you mentioned?" ask Stan.
"On the day you'll be home." When Stan heard this, his lips twitched. This daughter is really troublesome.
"Quick that? Your brother might not be happy with his sudden visit here." Layla said with a worried tone. He was worried Kyle would make the girl his daughter mentioned cry or even the worst. He could not see another victim of his son's cruelty to women; it would be another headache for him to handle this situation.
"Dear mom, you don't have to worry about that. I have a hunch this girl is an exception to big sister's temperament towards girls." Lannie smiled widely as she recalled the scene where her brother was standing in front of Anna. The way her brother showed his authority towards the loathsome man gave Lannie the idea that there might be a chance that her brother would not distance himself from another woman, but of course her brother had to distance himself from some leeches that might approach her.
Layla and Stan looked at each other. They showed how worried they were more than ever. Seeing that big smile, Lannie's face was not very confident; the hope in Layla's heart started to fade.
Stan just sighed, there was actually a young woman that he wanted to be a part of the Robertson family in the future, but he knew he could not force the young woman to be with the son and his son's temperament towards the woman. Moreover, even if her son did not have any temperament towards women, the young woman's family was difficult to deal with and marrying her to his son would be the toughest challenge she would face.

"Where's my sister, mother?" Lannie asked worriedly. Time has passed and today is a long-awaited day. Anna and Kyle will meet again according to one of Lannie's plans.
Lannie walked backwards in front of her mother and father. She couldn't help but worry because her brother hadn't come yet. It's late afternoon her brother hasn't come home yet and Anna is coming soon.
"Quiet, baby. Maybe your brother forgot that he should be home today." Layla said in a calm tone. Layla was not even worried about whether her son would come home or not today; in fact, she wanted her son not to be home at all. At least the girl that his daughter mentioned would not cry or be humiliated by her son and it would be the greatest fortune the girl ever had from her son.
"Listen to your mother, Lannie," Stan said with a smile. Clearly, he had the same thoughts as his wife; it was better that Kyle was not home today as it would save the dignity of the girl.
Lannie looked at her parents in great disbelief. Why couldn't her parents understand that the girl she kept mentioning for the past few days was 'the only one' for her precious sister?! If they did not want her brother and Anna together, it would be a huge loss for this cursed family.
He looked at the butler and glared at him furiously; the butler gasped, he did not know why the young miss was glaring at him. Wasn't he supposed to announce his young miss guest? "Should I lead that young lady here, young lady?" She asked.
Lannie straightened herself up and said, "No need. I'll personally bring him here." Lannie walked out of the living room and went to where Anna was waiting. 'That fucking brother! Destroying all my plans for his future! Arghhhh!'.
The butler stood in his place and only saw the back of his young miss going to where his guest was. He did not know if his young lady was really angry at him or what. He was quite speechless by his sudden look at her. She had seen Lannie grow up where she was now and she knew that the young miss she served was gentle and happy, a lucky girl; she was unlike her older sister, she was not, Kyle who is cold to everyone and does not let anyone approach him, unless they have an important thing to say to him. The butler wondered what he was doing wrong.
"Head maid, don't worry Lannie's mad at you. You're not the one who made him mad." The butler was relieved by what his mistress told him. "Now, leave us here," Layla said and the butler simply nodded and left.
On Lannie's side, as she approached where Anna was, she saw a beautiful figure standing up to look around her. Lannie is so immersed in Anna's beauty that she almost forgets that she is here to make Anna meet her parents.
"Anna! I'm so glad you're here!" Lannie said and as she stood in front of Anna, she held her hand gently while smiling brightly on her face.
"I don't know if I'm happy to be here. For some reason, I'm pretty nervous to be here." On the way here Anna thought twice about coming here and she even thought of a reason to tell Lannie she couldn't come, but she didn't have the guts to let Lannie down.
"Stupid girl! There's no need for you to worry!" Lannie is amused by Anna's current appearance. The sight before him was quite pleasing to his eyes. "Come, let's go to the living room." He said and dragged Anna to where her parents were.
When Anna and Lannie arrive in the living room, Layla and Stan look up to see who the girl is that makes Lannie so confident and want to see why their own daughter chose her. When Stan's eyes were on the man, he was shocked to see who it was.
"It's really pretty."
