CHAPTER 14: THE USELESS WIFE

As the three youngsters spoke, Mary and her brother-in-law also talked about business. The real reason why James was here was to make his daughter close to Anna and her brother. Why can't you even see any risk in this proposal?" In business, Mary can be as cold as ever, and everyone in the company is afraid of her anger. That was why they never wanted to offend him in any way.

James was offended by what Mary had just said to him, 'He is really cold-hearted in business matters.'

Gloria Coleman, James' wife, walks up to her husband to kiss him on the cheek, but James just pushes his wife away before he can kiss her on the cheek.

Gloria loves her husband with all her heart and soul, but her husband doesn't feel the same way. The only reason why they were together in marriage was because Gloria was pregnant with her child. No matter how many times James tried to tell his father that he did not want to marry Gloria and was only willing to provide child support, his father simply ignored him and he was forced to marry Gloria.

Elder Coleman has always been very proud of their family's reputation. The elder did not want any disgrace in the family. James rushed out of the living room and went to his study to vent all his anger. He did not want to spend more time with his useless wife. Gloria clenched her fists in anger. All this time, she thought that she could please her husband just by looking beautiful, but her husband's reaction was exactly the opposite of what he had always wanted to see in her husband's eyes. He wanted to see the loving eyes in her but what he always saw in her was anger.

If she can't please her husband just by looking beautiful and with his body, then she will please him by helping him get rid of Mary and her annoying children. When all those unsightly people leave, her husband will become the new head of the family, and she will become the new head mother of the family. No one would compare her to Mary anymore. After all, he was much more suited to that title.
