CHAPTER 56: NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING

"For your sister? Ha! He's defending a girl for the first time and this is great news for your family!" And finally! And finally! If Kyle ends up being interested in a girl, then that means there will be no more misunderstandings in his family. She can freely go in and out of her family residence without any of her family members interrogating her about her hidden sexuality.

"You're right." Lannie sat next to Erik and she really wished she had popcorn now while watching her brother's show.

This was one good thing he would report to his mother and his mother would definitely be happy as well. Lannie wondered who the girl behind her brother was, she looked very familiar to him. "Who is he?" He asked Erik.

"I don't know, but he seems familiar to me. Looks like I've seen it in articles or something." Erik pondered over it as well, he did not know where he saw his face.

Just as she was about to ask about Anna to her classmates but she accidentally heard them talking. "Did Anna get herself into trouble?"

"Perhaps, but still I envy someone handsome like him to protect her."

Hearing the name of the girl behind Kyle, Erik now suddenly recalled why he seemed familiar with her. "Aah!" Lannie was startled by Erik's voice. He looked at her with his left eyebrow arched, saw her looking at him like that Erik coughed twice and said, "His name is Anna Coleman, I saw some articles about her at her grandfather's birthday party the other day." Lannie's mouth formed an 'O' as she learned about the girl's true identity behind her brother.

Rumors about the heir to the Coleman family were considered goddesses and she definitely agreed with them. She looks so pretty in her eyes, the last time she heard something about him was they claimed that Anna Coleman was someone who used her surname just to get close to the man she wanted. But now it seemed like they were wrong because from the current look in Anna's eyes it didn't seem like it. Instead, it seemed like he wanted to stay away from the old man as far as he could. He looked so pure and innocent, how could they stain him like that.

"Son, you're really not afraid of being humiliated right now, are you? I'm pretty sure your family will punish you for disrespecting me." One of the two old men scoffed at the way Kyle was so confident. This was the first time someone had actually dared to challenge them and it somewhat angered them.

The two old men frowned at his claim, with how Kyle spoke to them and with how domineering his presence here made them ask which family he came from. When one of them would ask Kyle about his true identity, a sweet and gentle voice interrupted them.

"My brother, what kind of trouble are you making now?" Lannie who could no longer see their small conversation decided to interfere. She couldn't wait to talk, Anna and her brother took a long time to talk to old people she didn't even know.

"Hey, isn't that Lannie Robertson?" One of the students who recognized Lannie said. Those who heard the claim were jolted at the sudden reality.

"She called him 'sister' right? Then, d-he must be..." Those who could not recognize Kyle earlier were now very surprised to see the famous son of the Robertson family directly.

Hearing the words of the people surrounding them, the two old men were completely shocked and looked at Kyle with great fear. Now that they had done so, they had spent years avoiding people like Kyle, but now due to their lack of attention to their surroundings especially the news. The last time they heard about 2 Robertsons kids was when they were kids and now that they have grown up like this, they can't recognize them.

"Hm? What are you afraid of me now?" Kyle obviously wanted to further tempt these two old men now that they knew his true identity.

"Young Robertson, p-there must be a misunderstanding about this situation."

"Misunderstanding? Is threatening me and trying to molest the young miss of the Coleman family a misunderstanding? I think it's very clear to me that it's not a misunderstanding." The two old men looked at the girl behind Kyle, they looked at him, they were surprised to know who he really was.

To be honest, they had heard of him, but had never seen himself and even if they did it only at a glance. Because unlike the Robertsons, the Coleman family would not let reporters tail them especially on their 2 heirs. Coleman likes to be more mysterious in every way possible, which is why many reporters want to dig deeper into Coleman. For them, revealing Coleman's secret to the surface would be the biggest part of them.
