CHAPTER 19: THE ATTENTION OF THE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ON HIM

A dark room filled with flames surrounded him, the evil laughter of two people ringing in his ears. He wanted the laughter to stop. He doesn't want to hear it anymore. "Stop..." She moaned, tears began to fall on her red cheeks. "Please..stop...stop..." No matter how much he begged, the laughter would not stop, and it was getting louder. "Stop! Just stop! Stop that!"

"I SAID STOP!!!!" Anna suddenly got out of bed. She was sweating so much, and she felt nauseous. He heard the sound of his alarm clock and immediately turned it off. He looked at his window and saw that the sun had just risen. Anna wanted to describe how beautiful it was, but she was in no mood because of the dream she had just experienced.

He did not believe that this was the first time he had dreamed of his past life after returning to the past. It seemed, deep down, she knew that she was afraid of them, afraid that she could not protect her loved ones from their clutches. She might be tough on the outside, but she was still very gentle on the inside, like the old Anna, and she hated that fact! He wanted to erase all the old Anna from his past life, but he could not do it... He can't.

Anna stood up and left in front of a mirror the size of her body. As he looked at himself, he was shocked by his appearance. He was a mess in the morning. Anna suddenly remembered that today was her first day of her High School year... Well, it's not her first, but in her new life, it is.

After preparing herself, she went downstairs to eat breakfast made by her own mother. He went to the dinner table and sat down in front of Aaron. Anna smiled broadly. The feeling he had before turned into excitement.

She was excited to make all the to-do lists she had planned just for Rebecca. "Why are you so happy in the morning?" asked Aaron curiously.

"Today is the first day of school!" Anna answered with sparkling eyes while swallowing her mother's food.

'Is he so excited for school?' Aaron said in his mind. Aaron never really wanted to go to school. He even wondered why he had to go to school. Her mother had taught her many things, her knowledge in every subject was already more advanced than the High School children in the school she entered, so why did she have to leave?

In Aaron's anxiety, his mother won't let him not go to school. His mother said that he should go to school and live like any other normal child. Aaron rolled in, thinking only of what his mother had told him. Living like a normal child? Their family is not normal at all and it is not his fault that his family ancestors built a family like this and now Aaron has to bear the consequences of his family until the next generation.

"Eat faster, or you'll both be late!" Mary reminded her two children.

"Good!" Only Anna said in a cheerful voice while Aaron only did what his mother had just said.

Crystal High's

Rebecca happily steps in the Crystal High region, she enjoys attending her dream school, which her friends say will definitely be jealous of her. It had been a long time since her scandal came out and no one really cared about it now, Rebecca felt relieved that everything was fine now... Well, not all of them, his fan base is declining, but he won't worry about it too much.

Rebecca was so confident in herself that she would get her fans back and higher. He will be much more famous than before. Attending this school is just the first step. If he showed good results, everyone would praise him. He should really thank his benefactor for allowing him to be present here.

When the students saw Rebecca, in their eyes they saw a pure and innocent soul. Some of them knew about Rebecca's scandal, and they pitied her. A pure and innocent girl like Rebecca was harassed by a face-reddening man. Rebecca looked at that gaze at him, and she did not mind at all. Actually, this is what he wanted them to think. He wanted them to believe that he was kind and innocent which did not mean hurting anyone. He wanted them to be by his side.

A black Mercedes Maybach suddenly appeared on Rebecca's back. He was surprised by the sudden appearance of the car. He wanted to nag at the people inside but he could not see clearly who was inside because the window was black and also he did not want to show his bad side in in front of many people so he calmed down and waited for the people inside to come out.

"Young master, young lady, I will wait here to pick you up later." Aaron and Anna just nod at their private driver, Jeff. Their mother personally chose Jeff to be their driver. Jeff also knows how to attack and defend if there is a chance someone will try to hurt the twins under his supervision. He can fight them. After all, she had been their mother's personal bodyguard before.

Aaron came out first and then Anna. Anna was surprised to see Rebecca in front of their car, but she did not reveal her surprised expression and just stared intensely at Rebecca. Rebecca could not hide her surprised expression and felt uncomfortable with Anna's gaze.

No wonder Anna and Aaron went to this school. After all, this school was only for elite people like them. Rebecca is only here because of her mysterious benefactor support. Compared to Anna and Aaron, he was just an ordinary person. Thinking of Rebecca, Anna clenched her hands, she didn't like it at all, and it seemed like she was going to change her plans a little.

"Let's go" said Aaron, full of authority. He was already in a bad mood seeing Rebecca. He didn't want to be in the same place for too long. Anna simply nodded and followed her brother into the building. As they walked, the students stopped at what they were doing and looked at the twins. Unlike Rebecca's pure and innocent appearance, Anna and Aaron looked like they had descended from heaven. They both had an indescribable aura that made you want to follow them and become their servant.

Rebecca clenched her hands again as her nails pierced her palms until they bled. He was jealous of Anna again. Everyone's attention was no longer on him. Anna took people's attention from him again. It should be his and his own!
