"You dare to make a decision without my permission?!" A middle-aged man who shouted at his closest subordinates.
"Gentlemen, I'm very sorry. I thought if I did it would be easy for you to..." His subordinate did not even finish his sentence when the man suddenly threw a vase nearby at his subordinate. It hit directly onto the subordinate's head and bled.
"Basin useless trash!" She said. Ever since he heard that his subordinates were moving without his permission and the move also failed, he was not in the mood at all, any maidservants who cared for him would come out of the room with blood. For him, kidnapping Coleman's precious gems was a bad move, not enough to lure the man he hated all his life. Unless his move was successful, he would praise this subordinate if it belonged to him. "What makes you think that kidnap will lure him out?!" He angrily asked.
The subordinate grimaced at the wound on his head as he tried to stop the bleeding, "The plan was suggested by James."
"James?"
"Yes, James Coleman. He told me that it would be a good plan to lure him out." As soon as the man heard what his subordinates had just said, his face wrinkled clearly, what he heard now made him even more furious.
"Not just because you keep talking, but you also dare to listen to that stupid man?! You of all people should know that I am the only one you should listen to and not anyone else!" James Coleman had angered him every time James made a move. Every move he made always ended in failure like the last one at the party, he foolishly ordered a foolish girl to poison the old man, but in the end tried to sedate Anna and as a result the foolish girl was drugged. Not only did James no longer have the brains to make the perfect plan, he also chose a foolish girl to do his bidding.
"Lord... L am... Please forgive me..." The subordinate knelt in front of him but to no avail. He did not care if he knelt down and pleaded, once failure is still failure. But this subordinate has an advantage for him, he cannot remove it first, he still needs this subordinate to do some work for him that only he can do.
"Leave." He coldly said to his subordinates and without thinking for a second his subordinates left quickly. Looking glum as he stared at the door, in his mind the people around him were useless, he was eager to eliminate those useless people but those people were still useful to him he just needed to be patient.
'I'll make sure you die in my hands soon.' His hatred towards that person was getting stronger by the day. Because of that person, he lost something important to him and now he wants to take it back, but first, he has to get rid of that person.
"I want to be stronger!" Zen said with a stern face. Anna only smiled lightly hearing her response to her question, while Josh and Nathalia simply scoffed at her answer, they clearly knew that was not the only reason why Zen taught himself in training but they would not mention it.
The four of them were sitting near the court when they watched Aaron play in his trials to enter the basketball team. Zen and Josh's practice was canceled so when Anna and Nathalia called them both, they spent the rest of the time with the girls until Aaron was done.
"So how, brother?" Anna asks Aaron as soon as he steps out of the boys' locker room.
"I think I'm doing well, but I'm sure I'm on the team." Aaron sincerely said to Anna.
"They haven't told you?"
"Yes. I think I'll know tomorrow." Anna frowned at her brother's reply, based on his tone of voice she didn't even care if he entered the team or not. Can her brother at least show anticipation? Anna only sighed at her brother's lack of excitement, always like this even in her past life when there was something she did that didn't interest her, she wouldn't show any effort in it. Since that was the case this time, why did her brother bother trying to get into the team?
"Why are you trying?" josh asked as he walked beside them with Nathalia and Zen. To be honest, he doesn't like people who are going to try something but there's no effort in it, he hates good people, but because this is Aaron's case, he's not really, he will try not to judge there may even be a reason for it.
"There's always practice after school, right?" Aaron asked and Josh nodded in response. "Well, I want to run away from someone to force me to do something after school which is very boring, entering basketball that has practice every after school would be a good reason for that someone." Hearing that Anna just chuckled, she knew who that someone was and if that someone heard what Aaron had just said then someone would feel heartache.
"Wow! I wish I could make my basketball practice an excuse to skip training with dad." Zen suddenly said as he stuffed the lollipop candy into his mouth. "But unfortunately, even if I make such an excuse, my father will still push me." Aaron and the others just laughed at Zen's dilemma. They talked and talked until they reached the school gate and continued on their own journey.
