CHAPTER 37: TRAITORS FROM THE PAST

"yeah? What are we gonna do with those bastards?" Mary asked seriously. The longer he gets impatient. The culprit was too silent after their last act against him and he didn't like it in the least.

"I've tried these last few days and there's nothing" Leonardo said clearly as he sat comfortably in the chair with his arms crossed.

"Ck! Are you getting rusty now?" Leonardo just mocked Mary.How dare he claim that she is getting rusty, her expertise in getting information and hacking everything necessary to get what they want is second to none. There was no way he could be defeated by others, there are only 3 people she admits to only Mary and her husband because God knows where and the traitor who greatly made Mary wreak havoc for the first time in the past.

Since there were only 3 people he acknowledged, he then thought of the traitor. "Could it be that traitor that's keeping me out?" Mary looked at Leonardo seriously, she knew who the traitor was. The traitor he treated in the same way as Leonardo and trusted him very much.

Mentioning the man had always been a taboo between the two of them and only the two of them knew who the 'traitor' was, but now Mary would not be angry at Leonardo for mentioning the man, either, leonardo might be right. The man holds a grudge against Mary and Leonardo and they both have no idea what kind of grudge it is. They were only shocked when that person suddenly betrayed them out of nowhere.

"That's possible. After all, even though he has skills like yours, he still needs a strong group of people to support him." What Mary said was indeed true when it came to that person, she needed someone to support her in order to achieve her goal. "Whether it is him or not, let's stop now and wait for them."

Leonardo only secretly agrees with Mary, thinking that it is possible if the man becomes part of all this, it is better to wait for them to move just in case and of course Mary will not just sit still on her throne and wait for her to prepare everything that needs to be done.

While Mary and Leonardo are talking for their future progress, someone is quietly listening to them and it is Aaron. Earlier he was just passing by but when he heard Leonardo's voice inside and asked his mother why he was crying again, he arrived curious and peeked at the small gap because the door was not fully closed.

From what he heard, the issue of the abduction is not over. What was really surprising to him was that he knew what kind of power his mother had and what kind of people surrounded her, so he thought that his mother had already dealt with the kidnapping problem.

Hearing all this, she felt that she should not eavesdrop on their conversation anymore or she might get into trouble if she did not leave immediately. On his way to his sister's side, Aaron looks at her seriously and soon realizes it when he is close.

"Is there a problem?" He asked softly.

"You know that eavesdropping on someone else's conversation is very disrespectful" Josh said with his left eyebrow tilted upward. Aaron knew this way very badly, but he couldn't hold it especially on the part when he heard from Leonardo's mouth that his mother was crying. It was very unnatural for her mother to cry, but once again everyone on the planet knew how to cry whether they showed it or not, they all had their own reasons for crying, she said, but in her mother's case, she didn't know what made her mother cry. Seeing her own sister for the first time by her grandfather's side and seeing her mother cry for the first time, she later discovered that their tears were one of her weaknesses and she did not want to see them cry.

"I know, but once again the matter involves all five of us. Don't you think we should at least know about their problems? Besides, since your parents know my mother then you three should know that your parents are part of my mother's secret organization in the underworld." In the first two sentences, the three understood Aaron's point of view, but when he said the last sentence, they were confused for a moment.

'The underworld?'

'Confidential organization?'

'Our parents?'

These are the questions that come to their minds. Anna and Aaron noticed their confused gazes and it also confused the twins. "You don't know anything about that?"

"Uhh..." It was the only sound Zen could make because he really did not know what the twins were talking about.

"Can you explain it to us because we don't know what you're talking about" Nathalia said. He was actually quite curious because the way Anna and Aaron said it made them not make it up.

Anna felt that her brother was saying something she shouldn't have told the three of them. If they don't know then it means their parents don't want their children to be involved in the deeper dark side of the world they know. Anna noticed that her brother was going to say something so she immediately cut him off, "I think it's better if you ask your parents. I mean, it's better to hear it from someone who's directly involved in it, right?"

Aaron hears this and has no reason to disagree with Anna. He also thought that it was better to hear it from someone directly involved in the organization, if he said it, he was afraid of saying something that should not be said, so it was better to agree with his sister.
