CHAPTER 55: THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE IT

"What do you think you're doing, sir?" His tone was very demanding as he gripped the old man's wrist. This made the old man tremble slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Young man, don't you have any manners at all? Take care of your own business." The old man quickly took back his wrist from the young man in front of him. He was angry, furious, that this young man was interfering with his chance to not let the young woman get away from him and his partner.

Meanwhile, Anna turned her gaze to the person whose voice was very familiar to her. He saw Kyle Robertson, he was really surprised to see him in a place like this; from what he knew about Kyle Robertson, according to their rumors saying that Kyle did not like crowded places like this, he said, then why is he here? He was even more surprised to see that he stopped the old man from touching him. She was grateful as well as confused, she also heard rumors that Kyle did not care about other people's affairs. Why did he interfere? Anna did not mind at all and instead, she was very grateful but still, it was very confusing for Anna.

"Sir, I think what you're going to do is totally inappropriate." Kyle himself was also confused, he did not know why he was interfering in other people's affairs. He usually doesn't care if a girl is harassed by some disgusting guy. But now, why would he involve himself with someone he barely even knew.

"Son, don't you think that you're being disrespectful to older people, especially to me?! Don't you know who I am? I'm a gentleman in this town. Don't think that you'll get away with it so easily by disrespecting me." The old man said in a low voice loud enough for Anna and Kyle to hear. The old man was very careful with his every action because everyone in this place saw them and he could not risk anything to ruin the perfect honorable man in the public eye.

"I don't need to know you, nor do I need to respect someone who touches a woman's body with his own lust." Kyle's voice was loud and clear to the people around them. Those who knew Kyle's identity as Robertson would most likely believe his words, while those who did not know Kyle would say that Kyle was seeking the death penalty for disrespecting someone like the two old men in front of him.

The other old man stood up when he heard Kyle's voice, he was shocked and afraid Kyle would cause more trouble for them. "Son, what nonsense are you trying to talk about?"

Anna looked at these two old men in front of her and just thought that the two of them did not know who Kyle really was. Robertson's family was as famous in the community as Coleman's. A lot of reporters are always following the Robertsons and every day there will be news about them and most likely everyone knows the Robertsons face. But why don't these two parents know Kyle? Are they not famous in society?

"Someone like you?" The two old men were annoyed by how Kyle was overconfident. Do they need to know this young man in front of them? The only thing they knew was that this young man was not worth their knowledge, just a waste of time.

Obviously, these two old men did not read or watch the news and never saw the faces of the Robertsons. Some people already felt sorry for the two for not being careful around Kyle, though, also they know one thing the Robertsons are famous for is that messing with one of them would be one of the worst regrets of their entire life.

Meanwhile, Erik who had witnessed all the tension going on inside the booth pulled out his phone and called Kyle's sister Lannie.

"What's wrong?" lannie said on another line.

"You better come here at the Maid and Butler Cafe booth. Hurry along!" Erik did not bother to explain anything to Lannie and after she said that, he hung up the phone. He was very surprised and excited to see Kyle acting that way; he was shocked because this was the first time Kyle had stepped over someone's affairs because of a girl and at the same time was excited because he wanted to see more of these scenes Kyle entered.

After a few minutes, Lannie walked into the booth. To be honest he was really surprised that Erik was also here at his school and his brother didn't tell him anything about Erik coming to his school. His heart skipped a beat in nervousness, why did Erik call him to come? Will he spend time with her? But her brother was also there, should she ignore her brother and just focus her attention on Erik? Maybe he just did that. Damn her brother for not telling her. His heart is not ready for this.

But instead of focusing all his attention on Erik, he was more focused and surprised to see the commotion inside the booth. He looked at Erik and walked towards his position, "What happened there with my brother?"
