"Rebecca! Anna! You guys really came early today!" One of their classmates greeted the two of them wholeheartedly.
Anna gave her sweetest smile before replying. "Good morning to you too." As she said this, she observed every second how Rebecca's facial expression slowly changed.
"Good morning." Rebecca was really surprised. She didn't expect Anna to be here, in class with him. Did he hear everything he had just said before?
Rebecca looked towards Anna and she saw how Anna was grinning at her. He heard everything, he must have heard everything he just said! How could he not realize Anna was here the whole time? And why didn't Anna say anything in the first place and just listened to her babble bad things about herself? Did he not care if someone would say bad things about him? If so, then she was just the same naive Anna he knew. Anna who can't fight back because she doesn't have the guts to do it.
Observing Rebecca closely, Anna could instantly guess what she was thinking. 'You think I'm the same Anna who followed you like a dog? Just because I didn't do anything to you after you said something bad about me, it doesn't mean I'm submissive, that's what you need to know.'
Anna stood up from her seat and gracefully walked over to Rebecca. As soon as she got near Rebecca, Anna lowered her head and whispered into Rebecca's ear, "Don't take me for granted. I'm not the naive Anna you've ever known, I'm a very different person now. Now that I have seen your true colors, please do not pretend to be good in front of me. It makes me really want to vomit. It's so sickening." He said in a cold voice, it made Rebecca shiver in fear.
This was the first time she felt fear for Anna.
After Anna said her part, Rebecca saw him leave the room like nothing had happened. Rebecca gritted her teeth and her body trembled in anger. Why does she feel threatened by Anna?! This had not happened before and he did not expect this to happen. He should have been the one to threaten Anna. Anna was supposed to be the one who was afraid of him, not the other way around!
While Rebecca was trembling with anger, the person who came earlier saw everything. She didn't hear anything, but when she saw Rebecca trembling she thought she was crying, but there were no tears in sight so she thought Rebecca was just trembling with excitement.
Seeing Rebecca form a grin on her lips.
Rebecca did not forget about the other people in the room, so she deliberately did a wobble to look like she was crying. But little did he know the person did not think that way. Too bad for Rebecca, it seemed like her plan of spreading rumors about Anna that made her cry would not work.
–
The class had already started and Rebecca had been keeping an eye on the man who was talking to her friend. Frustrated by the fact that he didn't mention anything from this morning other than the nonsense he told his friend.
'What did he do?'
"Hey, about before..." He started. "I wish you could pretend you didn't see me this morning." The man's friends were shocked by what Rebecca and Rebecca had just said showed a pitiful plain face. They had a wild imagination and how they interpreted what Rebecca had just said.
"Hey, what are you looking at?"
"Come on! Tell us!"
The two of them said it in a low voice, but it was enough for Rebecca to hear it. Rebecca sneered inwardly with their reactions. People like this who thought wildly really bothered her, but again with their annoying questions to get her to talk about what happened, were very useful to Rebecca.
As Rebecca and her friends waited for her answer, the man simply tilted his head as if he was confused. His facial expression seemed to ask; what did he mean by this morning? What's he looking at?
Seeing her reaction, Rebecca's lips twitched. 'Lord! Is this guy stupid or what? Or is he solid (ga sensitive)?'
People saw how Rebecca looked at him, there was a hint of disdain in her eyes. The man grinned and stood in front of Rebecca, leaned his head forward, then whispered something to her, "You know I don't like people like you very much. It makes me want to vomit blood. Two-faced people like you don't deserve to talk to me."
Rebecca was surprised by the sudden change in her tone of voice. Rebecca felt danger emanating from her and she was about to push her away from him, but when she spoke again she froze. "I heard every word you just said to Anna and I recorded every word you said. I wonder what would happen if everyone in our class, or everyone in our school thought of you as soon as they heard what you just said. I'm really looking forward to the tragic events that will befall you." He said it with a threatening tone.
Rebecca looked at him in horror, this man was really as dangerous as she thought! Who is this guy? From what he remembered, this man was a happy man and always did stupid things. He said that he was a two-faced person that was indeed true, but such irony came from him. With how he acts now, he must be the same as her, a two-faced person, and in fact he is better!
After he said his warning to Rebecca, he backed off and sat down in his chair. "Rebecca, the teacher's here now. You need to get back to your seat!" He is happy and fortunate now. His handsome face showed a beautiful smile but in Rebecca's view, it was a grin. A grin that sends a message that he should never approach her again or that her true color will be revealed to everyone at school.
Without much choice, Rebecca sat back in her chair while keeping her innocent face as if nothing had happened between her and the scary man. Now, she was truly sorry trying to get the man to spread rumors about Anna. He's lucky again! ****** fuck it!
Anna, on the other hand, had seen it all since Rebecca had gone to talk to the person who had surprised Rebecca earlier. Leon Shui, that was his name but in this class, everyone called him the Joker. She is always funny and kind to everyone, but when Anna sees how Rebecca's expression changes when Leon whispers something to her, Anna now doubts what Leon's real color is. Is he his enemy or an ally with benefits? Whatever it was, Anna thought it was better to avoid it and observe it first, nor did she take the downside. It seemed like everything was not the same from what he remembered from his past life.
