CHAPTER 72: ALEXANDRE DREYAR

"I'm so excited!" Anna said excitedly in the back seat of the car. He, Aaron, and his mother are currently on their way to the hospital to visit Alfonso's son.

Anna is currently curious about the gender of her baby. His uncle Fonso did not mention anything else about the baby. This was the most interesting mystery he had ever dealt with and at the same time a very interesting problem.

"Quiet down and sit down properly, Anna."

Anna ignored her brother's words and asked him, "Sister, what do you think the baby's gender is?"

Aaron rolled his eyes irritated, his twin would not listen when he was excited which sometimes made him worry. Aaron did not answer his sister's question and just closed his eyes indicating he did not want anyone to bother him. Anna snorted when she saw what her brother had just done, for the first time she did not want to be ignored by her own brother.

Once they arrived at the hospital, the one who greeted them was Alfonso. His current appearance was very different to his usual fashion style, he was dressed very casually today and he looked very manly at the moment. Alfonso in front of them this really surprised Aaron as if this was the first time he had met Alfonso whom he could not recognize.

"Uncle, you look.... very handsome...?" Alfonso did not know if he should laugh or mock at hearing what Aaron had just said to him. Normally, Alfonso would take it as a compliment but for some reason, he was in no mood to accept the compliment now.

Alfonso took the three of them to where the mother of his son was. Her name is Pia, just a month ago she gave birth to her child and it's been a month that she's been staying in the hospital because of her health.

After a few days had passed since she gave birth to Alfonso's child, Pia called Alfonso to tell him about the child and his health condition. That's how it all started, now, she slowly accepted the fact that she had a child to take care of. The only regret he has now is why he let Pia resign as his assistant on that day. If he keeps asking why he resigned it's possible that he could do something about Pia's health and he might be able to stay longer for the sake of the child.

Alfonso was so immersed in his thoughts that he did not realize they were already in front of Pia's room. A loud baby cry returned her to the real world; a feeling of joy and regret pulsed in Alfonso's chest upon hearing the baby's cry.

Slowly, Alfonso opened the door for fear that the baby would be disturbed rather than the already. From the last few visits he made, he knew his son could be easily shocked when there was an unwanted sound and every time he visited him, he was always careful with his actions.

Seeing the four figures at the door, Pia smiled sweetly at them and greeted them wholeheartedly, "It's nice to see you again Madam Coleman and Coleman's beloved twin sister."

Without waiting for the others, Anna lightly stepped in and excitedly said, "Geez! Holy hooch! She's so adorable!" Anna's voice volume was low and sweet, it made the baby stop crying and giggled funny.

"Looks like you, young lady."

Anna frowned when she heard Pia calling her 'Young Miss', "Sir Pia! Please don't call me that!"

Pia was shocked to hear what Anna had just said. It was also the first time Anna had called her brother and somehow, it felt comfortable for her. 'Maybe it's because I'm dying, it feels good to hear him say that.'

Pia's surprised face was something Anna had expected since she had never called him that before. This was the first time after he had gotten up from where everything was after returning to the past. Anna felt calling Pia that way was more appropriate because her son was still a relative with her uncle Fonso.

"Who's this baby's name?" ask Aaron. Actually, Aaron refrained from pinching the baby's face. Like her sister, she also had a weak spot in terms of babies. To him, babies are the most innocent in the world because they don't know how hard the world is and sometimes he hopes when they grow up, they have to continue like that and lead this harsh world to look to a better point.

"Alexandre Dreyar, that's his name," said Pia lovingly as she kissed baby Alexandre's cheek. The baby smiled after he did that; this scene looked so beautiful as Anna and the others watched.

This scene was something very familiar to Mary, she knew what Pia was feeling right now. It is a mother's love for her child; it is an indescribable feeling known only to a mother. How he wanted to go back to a time where his twins were still very small in his arms. Their little laughs and their cries, how much he missed those days.

"That name suits him, Pia. Did you name him?" Mary asked; before Pia could answer, cut off by Alfonso.

"He did it." In fact, Pia wanted Alfonso to name the baby but Alfonso turned down the offer because Alfonso felt it was better for the mother of her child to name her; at least this way he could tell his son when he was an adult that his mother named him and Pia loved him very much.
