FIZAH (Female Kolong Garbage)

FIZAH (Female Kolong Garbage)
PART 14 “I Want To Go”

*Hafizah Palace

While waiting for the call and waiting for Ratna's fever to drop a little, I chanted the verse I still remember. Crushed already. The memorandum was in pieces. After all, there are no memorizers housed under the trash. It's stinking and dirty of my mind. Too much negative energy that I have absorbed. Why am I destined to taste this bitterness? I was unable to stem the sudden chaotic mood.

I wanna go.

Two pieces slowly swung. Now I have a letter from heaven that I hold. The letter was a tranquilizer. Sentence by sentence laid out promising heaven. I imagined a man full of faith in the chest. It was as if she was really real in front of me, then gave the antidote by saying, “Let's go with me!”

But the letter has not yet come. Either it has come, but it is kept by the Judge, or the Sender will not send because my reply never arrived. I wish the letter would come again. But, what am I not the person that the sentence describes. But, once again my hunch says the sender of the letter is not an ordinary person. He's a good guy. And, in a moment, he would send me back asking why my letter didn't reach him.

“Fizah, you so out?” ask Ratna.

I'm turning. “I'll try it now.”

Ratna. “What is it?” Look at something I hold.

“Nothing.” I folded and put it in my pocket. I'm rising.

I waited for the other officers to come out. Those who come out are the only ones who get the schedule. Five people came out at once. After the guide went to drop off and locked the front door from the outside, I went through the back door. I'm the only one who comes out through there a lot. One door was indeed padlocked and chained, but the other old door was broken. But the guides never realized. And, strangely no one ever dared to wander behind this piece of trash. The ghost stories that Mr. Su and Mas Hakim told had frightened everyone. In addition, strange events have also happened to some employees.

I opened the door slowly. Although the door was old, it did not make any sound if it was opened.

“But, isn't blurring now better?” thought later.

I went back to the room.

“Ratna let's get out now. Bathroom and kitchen are empty. There is no guide either. We're going to the old building first,” my whisper.

“You dare?”

“There is no other option. We must be brave if we want to survive.”

“After which way?”

“I'm also confused.” Around the empty building was built a three-meter-high wall. It is hard to reach a woman.

“You sure we'll be safe?”

“Entahlah. My heart says no matter what happens tonight, we have to go. But, you have to promise to stay strong wherever we go.”

“I trust you.”

I saw a flame of spirit in Ratna's eyes.

“You bring this.”

I recapitulate letters from heaven, my faith and prayer rites, as well as my Qur'an.

“You told me to wear a hijab?”

“You wear it later. Now change your clothes with this.”

He said I ordered him to change his clothes with long sleeves.

“Bismillah.” Kugandeng Ratna's palm.

“We don't have to wear sandals.”

I put my footwear and Ratna's on the other crackle.

“You are not afraid of being scolded by Mr Su and Mas Hakim? You were helped by Hakim.”

“That's their business, Ratna. He's not helping me. I'll tell you who Mas Hakim really is.”

“Means?”

Ignore questions.

“Slow-slow out.” I told him to come out first.

Then, I followed later. The broken padlock remains in its original state.

“I'm afraid, Fizah.”

“Same. But, our situation is like this. We gotta get out. Must. We'll find work outside.” Approaching the creepy old building.

“We go to the room first.”

“Got very dark.” Ratna's head twisted. Graze around. He made sure there were no creatures around.

“Whatever happens, we must not shout. Okay?”

He hesitates.

“Since when was this building uninhabited?”

“Do not hard. This building can reflect your voice,”, I asked.

I whisper into his ear, “Don't forget to pray in heart.”

“Iya, Zah.”

When we entered the room, we were shocked. The heart seems to have jumped out of nowhere. Now the beat is a mess.

“What is it?” ask Ratna.

There was white in the corner of the room. At first glance it was as if people were standing with their heads lowered.

“Do not enter, Fizah.” Ratna's hand grabbed my arm.

And, suddenly the white-white was moving. Our footsteps reflexively retreat. Ratna immediately stuffed her mouth with her fingers. Legs vibrate. Cold hands. Meanwhile, I held back my steps and held onto Ratna's hand so she wouldn't run. Two white rats appeared. Instantly I was able to escape the breath after a while of holding it.

“Alhamdulillah.”

I pulled Ratna's arm. But, Ratna's feet were stuck in place. I've got him. She's shuffling.

“Ratna, trust me, yes. There will be nothing.”

The brave Ratna finally became like this. He looked at the world with a look of fear. And all because of Mr. Su.

Only fifteen minutes apart, we positioned ourselves on the floor, covered in a dirty place full of dust, we tiptoed because the guides were screaming. I was still awake and Ratna who was a little sleepy on my shoulder raised her head.

“What are they looking for us?”

“Maybe. Tonight's our schedule. Buyers must be impatient.”

We try to hold back the worry. We hold hands with each other.

“Do I have to wear the hijab now? You also wear, Zah.”

I'm staring. Seriously.

“What's up?” tanyakanya.

I pulled something that stuck to my head. She's surprised.

“So?”

“Iya, Ratna. All this time I've been like this.”

“You're lucky, Fizah. Luckier. If I were as good as you. But, I never thought about wearing iket and then covering it with fake hair. This is beyond my expectations.” She's glazed. She hugged me.

“That's all I can do to save myself,” I said.

“Since we met, I've felt you were different.”

“I did too, Ratna. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met. And, forever you will remain beautiful.”

“We pray, Zah.”

I nodded.

The screams are getting louder. Getting closer to the building. Someone held back, then said don't go there. There are many demits there. Others exclaimed that it was impossible for us to be here because we were women, definitely terrified. However, Mr. Su's voice interrupted. He kept telling his men to get into the building. That's where both of our hands were sweating coldly.

“Ratna, no need to allow anything. Please, hold all.” I immediately held back Ratna's mouth that looked like she wanted to speak.

The reality is that it probably swirled around in my head. Inevitably, in such a precarious situation I must find a way as soon as possible.

There are two POVs I haven't shown yet. 😊🙏 I love novels that are a lot of puzzles. I also love magic plots.
