Jason seemed unsure before responding. "Has that guy named Via ever come back?"

"Not as I know."

"That's unusual, isn't it?"

"Not if his family moved to another place within three years, and that's exactly what happened. He has no reason to come back here."

"So she could've lied about it."

"As I said earlier, her mental state wasn't good when Lori was killed."

"So his mental state made him guilty? Or did my mom go to jail because she was heartbroken and jealous? She became pregnant at the age of eighteen, with no one she could go to for help. He never had a girlfriend who made him feel such a strong inner connection in such a fast time. He has dated many more "fit" women, especially since then, but has not found someone who is as capable of captivating as Kikan once was.
