My Heart Was Wounded Deep
Chapter 21's

Kikan hummed this morning, making breakfast for his mother.

"You smile - smile yourself, and act like you're happy." What makes you so happy?" Ask mother. "Is there a guy who met last night? Is that a storm that woke me up?"

Kikan felt his face flushed. "No. I've been visited by no one."

Bu Lis was watching her daughter closely. "Then why is your face flushed?"

"Because mom embarrassed me!" during this time Kikan rarely let himself think of men. She doesn't want to crave the physical closeness that other women seem to want. Kikan also does not want to be involved in romantic relationships that sometimes arise.

" What makes you so happy then?"

"none. It's a beautiful Sunday, that's all. And I plan on going to the City." He will use the internet to create a Facebook account so Jason can send him a message. He can't wait to make contact with the boy again without having to go through Rey.

" Today was also a beautiful day" said his mother in a cynical cheerful tone, as if there was something else behind it.

And indeed there is. Kikan's increased spirit has nothing to do with the weather, but rather because there is at least one member of the community who does not have feelings of hatred towards him.

Kikan tried to ignore his mother's cynicism, and continued his work making breakfast.

*******

It's a relaxing Sunday. The perfect day when people come in and out of Black Coffee. The cozy atmosphere of the place, along with the trendy atmosphere with wooden floors and chalk-written menus on the board, helped to remove the remnants of Kikan's annoyance after the conversation with his mother earlier.

now Kikan can rest for a while and use the internet, as he wants, but he can not relax completely, every time he is in a public place, he is worried about meeting one of the Lori family. Kikan was sure the family would make a fuss, so far he was lucky, Kikan had never met them or with Rey's parents. Which shows a very hostile attitude to him seventeen years ago.

Trying to focus, with the initial goal. Kikan is not very good at using computers. He barely has enough knowledge and experience to upload his bracelet in the online shop. He was assisted by one of the prison officers at the time.

The only problem was the bell that always rang above the door whenever anyone entered or exited the cafe. Concentration so disturbed, the noise signifies a change in the environment.making him wary of new things that might be dangerous.

Luckily Kikan had ordered coffee, so he could sit in the corner and try not to be seen behind his computer screen. Kikan was reading instructions on Facebook when the bell rang again, he leaned to the side to see who had come, and was forced to look a second time. The person she least expected to come through that door was Jason. The boy walked in with a friend, they were wearing a knit hat and looked so cute that Kikan felt proud. His son Jason is big, handsome and intelligent, he also looks like a really good person.

but Kikan doesn't want to make Jason the center of attention, he worries that if he calls Jason, the boy will be embarrassed. So he kept looking at the laptop as if he was unaware of his son's presence. Kikan thought Jason and his friend would drink a latte or whatever they ordered then came back out without looking at him, but Jason saw him while they were waiting for the order and made Kikan surprised by saying. "Hey... That's my mom."

Jason spoke loudly enough that it would seem strange if Kikan did not hear, Kikan raised his gaze towards him and smiled. He tries to decide if it's best to approach the boy or if Jason prefers he's just waving. But Kikan doesn't have to make any decisions, Jason invites his friend over to Kikan.

" what's Mom doing here?" tanyakanya. Kikan turned the computer so Jason could see the screen. "Try sailing on Facebook for the first time"

"It's pretty easy" Jason said. "Let me help you"

The teenager pulled a chair from another table and sat down next to her, while Kikan nodded politely at his son's friend.

"I'm Tristan" said Jason's friend.

" Tristan is on the basketball team with me" Jason explained.

Tristan welcomes Kikan's hand "It's nice to meet you." Tristan threw a timid smile. "Jason says you're beautiful but I don't think you're this pretty."

" Bro, you teased my mom, sit there!" jason said with a surprised laugh.

Kikan was somewhat embarrassed and flattered to know that Jason was proud of him, at least in one sense, and he was increasingly grateful to the person who had bought him this dress and jeans he was wearing. Otherwise he would have worn the same clothes he had at breakfast with Jason and Rey at the time.

"One iced coffee, one Mocca" exclaimed the barista at the counter, and Jason asked his friend to get them a drink.

"Look, just click on this" he told Kikan, sliding the screen so they could both see it. "Then you choose a username and write personal information here"

" okay..." Thank you for helping me, Jas

Tristan returns with their coffee, but instead of getting up and going to his friend Jason continues to teach Kikan in the process of creating an account, while Tristan just watches.

Some time later, Kikan's personal page became.

"We made it!" Excited excited.

"I'll make you friends when I get home" Jason said.

"Me too" cried Tristan.

"Dude. You're forbidden to be friends with my mother" Jason raised one eyebrow at his friend.

Tristan's face turned a dead red. "Why not ?" his gerrick. But Jason's attention has shifted back to the Facebook page.

Jason's optimism rubbed off on him, he looked at his son, "How did it go?" ask Kikan.

" Good" said his son, not aware of the blue heart and the maternal impulse generated in Kikan when he looked at his son.

After Jason offered to go home with him, "Of course "Kikan did not want to let go of the opportunity closer to his son. he closed the laptop, put it in the backpack, and stood up when his son pulled out the car keys.

Kikan followed them out of the cafe. "Your father doesn't mind you taking me for a test drive... "

Jason grimaced as if Kikan was asking a ridiculous question. "Why not, this is my jeep."

But Kikan was sure.. Rey has not fully believed whether she can have a good influence on her son. Jason didn't understand that, and Kikan didn't want to think about it. Rey doesn't have to know about what happened. Kikan feels he didn't do anything wrong, by letting Jason show Jeep to his mother.

When Jason started the engine and started driving, he mastered the vehicle so easily that Kikan was amazed to realize how mature his son was. How much togetherness has been missed.

"I owe a lot to your father" said Kikan, and he meant what he said.
