My Heart Was Wounded Deep
Chapter 8's

Jason looked at his mother "May I ask you something?"

"Jason." Rey called out their son's name as a warning, but Kikan ignored it, as did the frown on the man's forehead.

"Can. It's absolutely okay."

"No matter what?"

Kikan swallowed with great difficulty. He didn't expect to have any questions asked in such a short time. "Of course."

Jason looked at his father, but his inner turmoil clearly prompted the boy to pay no heed to Rey's headband. "Did you do it?" tanyakanya. "I want to know the truth after asking questions for years."

Kikan did not mind Jason asking. He wanted to tell the truth. But it will be much easier to talk about this at a quiet time when Rey is not with them, because she knows Rey will doubt every word she says. Kikan was afraid Rey would even mock his denial. Otherwise the taunting in front of him would have been when he and Jason were already in the car.

Even so, now when comes the opportunity to tell Jason that he is innocent. Kikan has to take it. The child does not want to wait for the right time or place, and if Kikan misses this opportunity, there may be no other opportunity. Not like this, when her son was very open.

Kikan was so tempted to grab Jason's arm, or do something else to show how excited he was. But he only stepped forward, for fear of coming to Jason too urgently, fearing that would scare him away, Kikan stopped and lowered his voice to apply pressure. "I'm not doing it. I swear I didn't do that."

"But mom drove that car! You must've done it." Despite the argumentative sound, Jason spoke as if he wanted his mother to persuade him otherwise, and Kikan appreciated that more than Jason realized.

"There's someone else in that car, Jason. Have you heard of this?"

Jason must have been told a little bit over the years. But she was not even born when the trial took place, and was only ten or twelve when it was considered old enough to hear the incident. That is, anyone who tells the story to him, very likely has degraded the events that occurred more than ten years before.

"No," Jason said, shaking his head. "Who is he?"

Does that mean Rey is so sure Kikan lied when delivering the incident at the time of the trial. Whether from his point of view there was no need to reveal that fact.

"My mother allowed us to bring her old car so we could go to the girl's house after school. When we saw Lori was walking back from a minimarket. The girl who was in the car with me said we had to scare Lori a little, something she took as approval when she saw me laughing, maybe I said something, I don't remember.. Because he arrived - just arrived he took the steering wheel of the car. "

Jakun Jason moved when he swallowed. " Anyone else is holding the steering wheel? "

" Yes, I don't think he meant to kill Lori. He had no reason to harm the girl, I guess he thought I would be able to control the steering wheel in time. But I can't." Kikan nodded in memory of the incident." Everything happened so fast. "

Jason raised one of his hands, asking Kikan to explain, "Why not tell that to someone else?"

A group of people came out from the direction of the cafe. Kikan didn't say anything until they weren't distracted. And he said, "I've tried. " He told everyone in the courtroom. Rey was not present on that day, when Kikan testified." No one wants to believe me.

Kikan wonders how Rey accepts all of this, but is too afraid to look at her. "That's the truth, but the girl I'm driving with denies it."

"So mom she's lying?"

Via Astaria instantly disappeared leaving this City after graduating High School and never appeared again. Kikan knew the girl would never come back. "Yes, and under oath"

"Why did he do that?"

"I'm sure he's scared, he doesn't want to get punished, like what happened to me."

"So he let you get the blame."

"That's how."
