Chapter 54's

Rey wasn't sure she wanted to go to Black Coffee this morning, now that her son has grown up, she's the most consistent person in her group. He likes to talk to his friends for twenty or thirty minutes. But Rey knew everyone would ask a lot this morning. The last time they chatted together, Rey went to the ladies' room and pointed at Logan's face, and despite starting to get a lot of messages from her friends after the incident, as well as a few phones, she said, almost everything has not been answered.

Rey tells herself to skip meetings with her friends. It's hard to explain his feelings to Kikan, he doesn't want to be doubted by anyone.

But in the end they saw their cars parked in the parking lot and he could not just pass.

" Hey! Dilan was on the phone but nodded at him. Rey waved and ordered coffee before sitting down with Nanda and Kelly.

" Complete formation this week?" ask Rey.

Kelly saw the clock. "Still in the morning I'm sure ted and Devan will come."

Nanda nodded as he stared at the entrance, "Long live," he said. Ted has arrived and Devan is soon followed.

It took a few minutes until everyone finished ordering and sat at their table in the corner of the room, but he liked it because it seemed like everyone was ready to listen. Dilan inquires about Rey's fight with Logan as soon as he finishes calling.

"How's Logan maniac doing?" dilan Fishing.

Rey tried to be calm, "I'm sure she's fine. Just a little fight."

"Not too small" Kelly said. "It was really horrible. I've never seen you like that."

Rey shrugged her shoulders. "He has no right to disturb Kikan, or anyone."

There's an unpleasant moment when Rey feels like someone is following her mother's opinion, 'Kikan killed her sister, remember that?' - but it turns out that nothing. "by the way, your nose seems to be fine."

"As I said... Small fight." said Rey.

"Kikan seems to be embarrassed that you're involved" Ted said.

Nanda gave an opinion. "That's more than just shame. Kikan was so afraid Rey would get hurt that she fought like a stray cat to get out. I don't know what he thinks he can do, but he really wants to help."

"He's a fighter" Rey murmured.

"What makes you lose that patience?" ask Kelly. "I mean, we could've called the cops."

"The story must have been finished when they arrived" Rey replied. "I did what I had to do."

"Did Kikan appreciate it?" ask Kelly.

Rey sipped coffee. "He doesn't want me in his life. And given our past, I guess that's understandable."

Dilan stretched out her legs. "What do you want?" tanyakanya.

"Make everyone stop tormenting him. Anyway, she's Jason's mother."

Rey drank the contents of the cup once more before replying. "Of course."

Devan was silent, but he kept grinning and it pissed Rey off. He wanted to hit his friend.

"So how are you?" ask Rey while looking at Kelly.

Kelly looked at Rey. "I'm sorry?"

"I heard you had a story."

Kelly's cheeks flushed red and she glanced at her husband and a smile gleamed down her face as she looked around the table. "Yes, right. I meant to announce it last week, but... We saw the fight, and then I thought about putting it off.

Ted asked. "What is this about?"

Kelly held her husband's hand. "Levi and I will soon have children."

Everyone was silent after hearing it. Rey never thought the news Kelly wanted to tell her was about pregnancy. She thought Kelly should not get pregnant because of her health problems and the drugs she was taking, Kelly had problems with her kidneys.

" really? Dilan looked dumbfounded but tried to set her voice to sound enthusiastic. That's incredible!"

Kelly frowned as the efforts of her friends showed enthusiasm. "Easy! I know what you're thinking. You're afraid I can't get through this pregnancy, that this is gonna make me sick. But Levi and I have been talking about this for a long time, together with my doctor, of course. And we decided to move on, whatever the risk."

The conversation continues with their plan to celebrate Rey's birthday at the lodge. Devan advises Rey to invite Kikan along.

" I'm going to take her" Rey said, although she wasn't sure if she wanted to leave, because she tried last night.

" Why didn't you answer my phone last night?" ask Devan.

" I'm busy." Rey replied.

"Busy what?"

"Eat night."

"You got a date?" ask your friends almost simultaneously.

Once again Rey feels uneasy, having to explain her relationship with Kikan. "Jason invited his mother."

"Oh." quiet for a moment. Then Nanda said, "How's the show? "

"good. Perfect," Rey lied, and tried to divert their conversation.
