Recana Steven's Return

Finish the shower Steven came out with just a towel wrapped around his waist. She doesn't look awkward at all, even though there's Fiona inside the room. With a casual step, Steven walked towards the closet, picked up his t-shirt and pants and turned to the bathroom.

Steven did not realize that Fiona was trying to regulate her chest that was pounding when she saw her abdominal muscles. In fact, he's seen Steven's body a lot, and he's touched it unconsciously several times when they slept in the same room they lived in, but still, they were, Fiona was still embarrassed every time she saw it.

"Flame... Fio." Steven called Fiona who looked dreamy when she just came out of the bathroom. "Fiona, what are you thinking?" Steven finally approached Fiona who was sitting behind him.

"Haaa...? I. I don't think of anything," Fiona replied quickly as Steven was already sitting next to her.

Steven looked at Fiona carefully then said, "Don't lie to me. Are you thinking about Leon?" Steven's suspicions are now centered on Leon after learning about the status of his and Fiona's relationship.

"No. I was thinking about you" I'm Fiona.

Steven squinted his eyes for a moment in disbelief at Fiona's words.

"I'm really thinking about you, Steve. I'm not lying" Fiona continued when she saw Steven's suspicious face.

Steven was silent for a moment, after which he turned his face serious. "Fio, there's something I want to tell you."

"What?"

"I'll be home tomorrow afternoon."

Fiona instantly fell silent, staring to the side without saying anything. There was a sense of unwillingness when he heard that Steven was going home so soon. He was just happy, but now he had to separate again.

"Do you want to come with me?" continued Steven again when he saw Fiona was still silent with a grim face.

"Sorry Steve, I can't. I can't leave my job here."

Steven smiled then said, "Alright, it's okay. I'll go home by myself."

Fiona lifted her head then looked at Steven's face. "Why did you come home so soon?"

"To be honest, my mother had asked me to come home 3 days ago, but I resigned because I still wanted to fight for you. Last night, after you asked me to stay away from you, I've decided to go home today, but back I canceled because of an unexpected incident last night," Steven said, "I can't stay here long. I have a big responsibility there. My company over there needs me."

"Are you going home with Sonia?" ask Fiona.

"No. He's still got a job here so I'm going home with Erick."

"Erick is here?" During the meeting with Steven several times, Fiona has never seen Erick. Usually Erick will continue to stick to him like a postage stamp.

"Yeah. I asked him to look after Sonia while here and help Bryan in the company because I was busy pursuing my love so couldn't think of anything else but you."

Fiona's face was met in red hearing Steven's words. "Can't you go home in a few days?"

"Did you still miss me?" tease Steven while looking at Fiona with her flirtatious smile.

"Yes" replied Fiona.

Steven was a little surprised to hear the confession from Fiona. This was the first time Fiona shamelessly said her heart.

"Then stay here tonight" Steven suggested, "I can't cancel my return because I've been here too long" Steven softly explained.

Fiona's face turned sad. "Sir Rey won't let me stay here. He's very protective of me."

"Don't he still like you?" guess Steven while casting a probing gaze at Fiona.

Fiona hit Steven on the shoulder with a smile. "Steve, don't talk just about anything, he's my brother now. It was the attitude of protecting a brother against his sister."

Considering he will leave Fiona with 2 people who love him, making Steven so wary. "Fio, can you take care of your heart until I get back here again?"

Seeing Steven's concern, Fiona grabs Steven's hand and holds it. "For a year now, I couldn't even get you out of my mind, where I might be able to switch easily on other men when we've decided to start over."

"But, actually you're engaged to Leon. I even wanted to destroy it right away when I found out you were engaged to her" Steven said.

"I thought we weren't meant to be together so I chose to give Leon a chance that was so good to me all along."

Later that night, after finishing dinner at the restaurant where he was staying, Steven invited Fiona back to his room. "Fio, I've asked Reynald for permission so you can stay tonight so you don't have to go home" Steven said as they just walked into his room.

"Sister Rey let me stay here?" fiona asked after sitting on the sofa.

Steven nodded. "You're my future wife, she doesn't like it, she has to let you stay overnight here" Steven said as he walked to the bed.

"Fio, come here." Steven patted the empty bed next to him.

"Go upstairs, I want to talk while lying down" Steven said, breaking down his body.

Without asking much, Fiona immediately lay in bed facing Steven. "When did you cut your hair?"

Fiona just realized there was something different about Steven's performance. When she first meets him, Fiona's focus is not on Steven's appearance but on the fact how they can meet again after a long separation.

"Before coming here, I cut my hair first," Steven explained, "why? Does this piece not suit me?" steven asked as he confronted Fiona who was lying down facing him.

Fiona shook her head slowly while raising her hand to hold onto Steven's hair. "No. You look more handsome and dashing with a haircut like this." Fiona acknowledges that Steven's current appearance is more authoritative than ever.

"really?" Steven smiled happily at the praise from Fiona. Somehow, if Fiona who praised him made him happy.

"Hhmmmm," Fiona muttered as she nodded her head, "don't be too handsome, the more you like" joked Fiona.

Steven smiled as he held Fiona's hand on his face. "Fio, can I sleep while hugging you? I promise I'll just hug you, nothing more" Steven asked, "i'll miss you so much when I get home."

Fiona thought for a moment and then nodded. Steven then put away the bolster that was previously in the middle then shifted his body to the middle.

"Sleep. I'll drop you off early in the morning. I also have to meet with Reynald to talk about important things" Steven said after he carried Fiona into his arms. Fiona nodded then closed her eyes.

In the morning, as Steven promised last night, he drove Fiona home early in the morning. When they had just arrived, Reynald and Leon had also just arrived.

"So, have you decided to get back together again?" Reynald looked at Fiona and Steven who were sitting in front of him in turn.

"Yes" replied Steven steadily.

Although slow, Reynald could hear a soft breath from Leon's nose sitting next to him.

"I told my mom about this and my plan to marry Fiona quickly" Steven said.

"Then how did your mother respond? Does he agree with your wedding plans?" ask Reynald quickly.

"Yes, she agreed, but my mother said she wanted to talk to me in person so I planned to go home later in the day to discuss more with her."

Reynald nodded, Leon was silent, while Fiona was seen smiling faintly. He can't hide his happiness when he finds out Steven's mother has agreed to their wedding plans.

Steven looked at Leon. "So, I hope to break off your engagement and let her go. I want you to keep a little distance from Fiona because I can't see Fiona too close to other men, let alone you."

With a sneering face, Reynald said, "Steve, aren't you wrong? Right now, that's your affair. You are the third person in their relationship. Leon is Fiona's official fiancee, while you're just her ex-lover. How could you easily have Leon keep his distance from Fiona?" Reynald chuckled softly while shaking his head.

"It's up to you to assume what I look like, I'll be Fiona's husband" Steven said casually.

After being silent earlier, Leon finally spoke up. "I have to make sure first, whether your mother can accept Fiona as your future wife or not. After I was sure, only then did I break off my relationship with him. I don't want to act rashly."

Reynald was again made to laugh with the complicated relationship of the three of them. "Waaah, it turns out that my sister is amazing. He could make a Steven into an affair without any objection at all to his current status. I didn't expect that a Steven would even wait until my brother broke up with his fiancee." Reynald clapped his hands while shaking his head.

Fiona immediately felt bad for Steven after hearing his older cousin's words, while Steven stared at Reynald without interest.

"Stop your bullshit before I plug your mouth" Steven threatened.

"You're serious, I'm just surprised." Reynald stared upward for a moment and said, "what if the media knew that the successor of the famous legendary HK Group was knee-jerk to a woman who already had a fiancee? It's sure to be the hottest news in the history of romance among conglomerates."

Steven screeching. "It's a good thing you're Fiona's cousin, otherwise I'll make you no longer talk."

Fiona holds Fiona's arm. "Steve, I'm sorry Rey, she didn't mean to offend you."

Steven looked at Fiona with a smile. "Yeah. I'll hold back because he's your brother" Steven said gently, rubbing Fiona's cheek gently.

"Heey, you guys are showing us the romance of you two. You guys want to make us jealous on purpose?" reynald said with an annoyed face.

As Steven was about to chim in on Reynald's remarks, his phone suddenly rang. "Wait a minute, I'll pick up the phone first" Steven said, looking at Fiona.

After Steven's departure, the three of them returned to talk until Steven returned.

"Fio, I'm not going home" Steven said after he sat down next to Fiona.

"Why?" fiona asked with a frown.

"My mom is on her way here."
